Meeting up!

what a day!

I met two of the loveliest ladies ever!

Joy and Pippa :)

it was so refreshing to speak to some others who are on the program and doing the same things as me.

Stories, suggestions, questions were abounding.

I highly recommend anyone who lives within 40k of someone else on the program, to catch up, it's great to be able to talk the talk with others. Unfortunately none of you out of Victoria will have access to the real-life JOYSEY! and I have to tell you we are spoilt to have her here, she is ours! this woman will be my inspiration to succeed!

Thanks again girls, can't wait to catch up again and again and again!!

and a HUGE thank you to my secret santa, I loved my present, all the way from the other side of the country ;) xxx

Welcome to PDF, what state are you in btw?

Chatroom

Hi Cryss,

I have just entered the chatroom as you left. I'm still here if you want to chat.

Take care
Cathy

Hi everyone,

Cryss - happy you met up with Joysey and Pippa. It sounds like you had a beautiful day together. I'm sure there will be more of them. :)

Casey good to hear you are back on track. I know it's very hard but don't beat yourself up about the last few days. Put it all behind you and start fresh. That's what I'm doing, I hope. ;)

Anyway good luck with your blood test and hope the next week is getting better for you.

Regards to all,
Cathy :)

Hi everyone,
Great to see everyone is still going well, and not too many slip ups over Christmas.
Just thought I'd pop in to let you all know how I'm going after re-feed. It's been about 6 weeks now since I finished my re-feed, and my weight has remained exactly the same as when I finished, although I know I am eating far too much at the moment, and really need to get myself back on track. I have been eating junk nearly every day, and am becoming a bit worried that I won't be able to reign in my eating again. Tomorrow I am going to try to have no sugar, and try to stick to Cohen's basic plan (without measuring anything). I am still planning to go back on the program at the beginning of February to lose the last 10kg, and I want to try to keep in the right frame of mind till then. I have also applied to do a university course through Open Universtities which I am hoping will keep me occupied. I think I eat too much when I get bored so I want to prevent this. I am really pleased that the program really does work, and my metabolism has very obviously been re-set, and my body is better able to cope with processing food. I am also not having any cravings which for me is a major achievement.
Missys mum, it is so great to see you are still going strong and are doing such an incredible job even in such difficult times. My prayers are, as always, with you and your family, and I hope they find a compatible donor for you son in law.
Lmr, great to see that you have done so well, and have finished your re-feed. Is your weight also stable and under control?
Everyone else, it's great to have so many people posting on here now, and after reading everyones posts, I am motivated to get myself back on track again before I do some damage.
Take care everyone, talk to you soon.:)

DAY 89
64.75 kgs
Total lost 25.55 kgs

Ladies, ladies, ladies, great to read all of the post Christmas threads. I want to tell you my Christmas day story so if any of you were naughty then stop worrying, you have done yourself a favour.
Here we go, it is a little long so if you can’t be bothered reading it, leave it until you have a bit of time to spare.
Christmas morning (Day 83 on the diet, hadn’t broken once) tipped in at 66.3kgs, had to go to my sons girlfriends parents just for an hour or so about 11.30 so had a couple of prawns and about 4 sips of red wine and passed the rest of the glass to my husband, by this time I’m still thinking no, I might still stick to it. Got back about 1.00 and then got some lunch ready, dip, biscuits, cheese, ham and anything else you can think of that goes with it, oops don’t forget the wine. The 2 mum, hubby and myself all sat down outside, and then I thought, now it is Xmas day and I am just going to B!@@dy well enjoy myself for just one day, and believe me, I DID. Ate and drank what I wanted until I was 100% satisfied. Boy, don’t eat ½ as much now though, so that was interesting. Then came Xmas Dinner at about 7.30. Dished up my normal meal at ¼ of it, what a waste, but just couldn’t get through it, enjoyed every single mouthful, gravy, roast potatoes, pumpkin beans, turkey, beef, pork. Had the Xmas pud and cake with a few chocolates and then the day was OVER, straight back on it on the 26 DEC. Reluctantly look at my weight to see how much damage I had done yesterday and it was as expected back up to 67.5, so 1.15kgs of damage, not to worry as I totally expected it. Next day 27 Dec, on the scales again and up another 250g (67.75), now ladies, I am starting to panic, I am thinking I have well and truly blown it. Still sticking to it 100%, 28 Dec, you would never believe this, dropped 1.2kgs back down to 66.5, 29 dec, dropped another 550g (66kgs) 30 Dec, dropped another 450g down to 65.5 and this morning, the last day of the year I nearly fell off the scales because I couldn’t believe what I say 64.75 I had lost 800g. 3kgs in 4 DAYS........
What has happened here is my body was so use the diet after sticking to it religiously for 83 days that I gave my metabolism the biggest shock of its life. It was thinking what is all this food and everything was so different so it had to process it. As you can see I put on weight for 2 days and now it has speeded up my metabolism again and because I am back on it 100% it is burning up all the diet food and still working fast to burn up the other foods which have already gone, so now it is burning more fat than ever.
My message to you all, don’t worry about it, just get right back on track. Also for anyone dieting more than 80 days straight, I would definitely consider suggesting to you to have a good days break just after a blood test, so it has plenty of time to get out of you system before the next one and shock that settled down metabolism that is just so use to the diet foods. I have read about this before but now I have tested it and know it works. I’m not saying to go and pig out but saying after 80 or 100 days give it a go and let us know what happens.

MYSHY: I ran out of their NEWAYS – NETWORK MARKETING VITAMINS the other day and bought some of the BLACKMORES FOR WOMEN – WOMEN’S VITALITY MULTI that Missy-Mum suggested, which was a ¼ of the price of their NEWAYS ones, of course because there isn’t a commission paid out to 50 people down the line (sorry about being B!tchy). I also got some BLACKMORES – WEIGHT-LOSS SUPPORT, SUGAR BALANCE, not that I think I need it but I just want to make sure I don’t get cravings and also some BLACKMORES FOR WOMEN-TOTAL CALCIUM as I really think that is essential as we just aren’t having any. Myshy I am sure that the CENTRUM won’t hurt at all, I mean it is just one tiny tablet, how much damage can it possibly do and because we are drinking so much water it will probably flush it out any way. I’d take them until you have finished the bottle and then try some of those BLACKMORES ones I mentioned. You just pick them up from the supermarket. Oh, by the way, I still got a considerable amount of change back from purchasing those 3 Blackmores items than purchasing 2 of the Neways vitamins from the clinic.

PDF: Welcome and congratulations on taking the first step of your new look to follow. You are going to be amazed how this plan works, it is excellent. How much do you have to loose?

CASEY: Don’t panic, you are going to be just fine as long as you get back on it straight away, one day isn’t going to hurt.

CRYSS: Thanks for you fantastic comments, I am just a normal person and just love everyone, I wish I could meet all of you, hey, if I win that big $32,000,000.00 tonight we will all meet in the Bahamas, is that o.k. with everyone or would you prefer it to be a little closer. Yes, it was so wonderful to meet both you and Philippa the other day, talking for hours, just great, can’t wait to do it again and MYSHY next time we will let you know so hopefully we can catch up with you as well. Hey, I was just thinking, maybe Cryss, Philippa and I can all drive down to you in the one car, that would work. We’ll all get in touch and arrange something.

RAJAH: Are you in MELBOURNE too. If so let me know…joy@finer.com.au

RJM: Great to hear from you. I was just thinking if you were to get to your goal after the re-feed and then have a bit of a blow out, could you just go back on the original plan for say 4 or 5 days to loose that extra KG you may have put on.

Well ladies, I am sorry the posting is so long, great chatting to you all.
HAVE A WONDERFUL, SAFE & HAPPY NEW YEAR.
BEST WISHES TO YOU ALL FOR 2006
:) ;) JOY ;) :)

Hi Everyone,
Girls, I need some motivation.
I have totally fallen into a slump. I am not eating the wrong things, but have fallen into the trap of not eating at all until late afternoon. My youngest child has been sick with croup and it has thrown the whole household out. I have even snuck in a few coffees with milk which has surprised me.

JOYSEY - Would love to have you all over for lunch,or arrange a time and place in Melbourne. I am in Lara, so I am really not that far away.
Joysey - you are still the guru at this diet! Even with the results I have had, I couldn't imagine going the length of time you have without cheating. You are really an inspiration. You will be bypassing me soon enough and on your refeed before you know it! Thanks for your input regarding the vitamins. I think I will go back on the Centrum at this stage. I haven't been able to resist popping something sweet in my mouth almost every day. It may also explain why I am craving milk in my coffee.

I have had a double whammy scale wise this week. With all the steaming I was doing to keep my sons room humid, my food scales don't work anymore. Then to top it off my old scales (the 500gm ones) have broken. This leaves me with my new 100 gm scales which weigh me 4 kilos heavier.

PDF - Welcome :) Sunraysia is Mildura - is that right?

RJM - I am so pleased you dropped in to let us know how you have been doing. Its very reassuring to know that you have been able to maintain your weight.

CASEY - Hopefully now that chrissy is over all the tempting goodies are now finished and out of the house. I had my daughters 14th birthday party last night, the goodies from that will hopefully be gone sometime today and then I won't be buying anymore!

DIVINEMISSNAT - How did the holiday go. I am sure you were pleased that your mum noticed the change and was very supportive.

I am looking forward to hearing how all the ladies who went to visit family for christmas went. Don't you all miss their posts as well!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE !! BEST WISHES TO ALL.

Myshy

Happy new year

Hi everyone,

Great to hear from everyone. With this hot weather I am drinking cold water from the fridge and it actually tastes good. :) Still not drinking 3 litres but have been better than before.

Myshy: Sorry to hear about your little one having croup. This hot weather doesn't help at all. Hope he/she is getting better. The vitamins I have been taking are Pluravit 50 Plus from the supermarket. They have chromium and all the other requirements from the program. A bonus is they have extra calcium and lutein for eyes (I need more of this) and are only about $16 for 60 tablets -i.e. on a day, 2 months worth. I feel more tired when I have missed taking one.

Joysey: Congratulations on achieving your great weightloss especially over the Christmas period. It reassures us that there is life after Cohen's and we are able to maintain our losses forever. :D I just need to lose it in the first place but I am going to do my best in 2006.

RJM: Wonderful news from you. You also reaffirm my comment with Joysey. Keep up the good work at maintaining your losses. You must have had lots of favourable comments about your new glamour looks.

PDF: Welcome in joining our group and wish you lots of success in your weightloss. We are all here for the same thing.

TO EVERYONE, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2006 AND LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING LESS OF EACH OTHER IN KILOS BUT KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH EVERYONE HERE AND BEING HAPPY LOSERS. ;) THIS IS GOING TO BE THE YEAR OF ALL YEARS!!!!

Regards,
Cathy

Scales

Hi all again,

I forgot to mention. If anyone is interested or needs to buy people scales, Harvey Norman have the Homedics Body Fat Analyzer and Scale on special for $49. They usually are $89.95. These are digital scales and weigh in
.100g, eg 80.2kg. lots and take up to 150kg. They also have a 5 year warranty!! No, I don't work for either companies, just thought it a good buy to share with everyone.

I feel I am in the 21st century as my other scales are 30 years old but I like them better as I weigh less on the old ones. ;) I just have to work out when I next visit the clinic the difference between the new set and Cohen's scales.

Cheers to all,
Cathy :D

Hi again,

Joysey, you can use your same Cohen's plan for the rest of your life as long as you stay within 4 kg of the weight you finished the program at, and if you go back on the program for more than 2 weeks you have to do the re-feed again.
This is a great incentive to keep your weight within this weight range. They say you have to order another program if you gain more than 4 or 5 kg.
Talk to you soon

Beck:)

Hi everyone. Thank you so much to my secret santa for my lovely gift.

rjm, fantastic to hear that you are doing so well. I finished my refeed 3 weeks ago. I lost 33kg in total and weigh 59kg. I'm not sure that I want to lose any more weight - I feel really comfortable and I think it's more about toning for me now. I joined Curves a couple of weeks ago, but they've been shut over the xmas/new year period but re-open on the 3rd and I can't wait! I totally agree with you - this diet works! I haven't been eating too badly over this xmas period (not great, but it could be worse!), but I'm definitely consuming far too much alcohol, but my weight has remained steady. I think not eating carbs when drinking makes a huge difference so I do try and plan in advance. I think because I'm so conscious of putting on any weight, I've also made sure that I go for a long walk if I've had a big day. Unfortunately though the last couple of days in Adelaide have been absolute stinkers - 42.5 yesterday and 38 today - so it hasn't really been exercise weather.

I completely cleaned out my wardrobe this week of ALL of my fat clothes and there wasn't much left at all. So, what's a girl to do except go shopping! It was so nice to buy size 10 clothes from Espirt and Colorado and have them fit perfectly!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! You're all inspirational women and I couldn't have got through 5 months on Cohens without you. What a slim year 2006 is going to be for us all!

Lisa xx :D

Foodie Heaven = Cohen's Hell

Hello to everyone!

I think I am going to be sent to Cohen Jail...
For one whole week I have been very naughty. (Thankfully this is after my blood test)
I knew I would break for Christmas Day and I allowed this with no guilt strings attached. I did not over-indulge on the day but boy did I feel sick! Not sick really, but more bloated and uncomfortable.
My plan was to get back on the plan on the 26th but it has been one bad day after another since. Too many temptations in my mum's fridge... Catching up with old friends and not eating at the right times or not eating the right things. The only meal of the day that I haven't defiled is breakfast.
AND my mum doesnt have any people-weighing scales so I dont know how much damage I have done. Not too much I think... BUT I WAS DOING SO WELL!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am in awe of anyone who has other people or children in the house and can still stick to the diet.

Anyway, my new plan is to get back on track on the 1st January, like every other person who has a New Year's Resolution. Hopefully I can recover the same determination and willpower that I had a few weeks ago and return to the diet all guns blazing.
I am still in Perth for another 5 days before I can get to the normality of my kitchen and back to my scales.

It sounds like most of you have gone straight back on track so WELL DONE to those of you that have.

Have a safe and happy New Year everyone!
Nat :)

Happy New Year Every One

1/1/06
64.25 (dropped another 1/2 kg yesterday and that included a couple of glasses of wine too. I did cycles though because I knew I was having the wine so didn't stop until the calorie counter reached 400, took about an hour, well worth it).

HI LADIES AND
HAPPY NEW YEAR, THIS YEAR YOU WILL ALL REACH YOUR GOAL WEIGHTS 100% FOR SURE. 2006 IS OUR WEIGHT LOSS YEAR.

MYSHY: Try that Blackmores SUGAR BALANCE from the supermarket absolutely full of Chromium. You’ll be right don’t worry about it. Have you tested those new scales to see if they are correct. Just find something in the cupboard that has a weight on it eg a tin of 425g tomatoes or a tin of tuna. If you have a 1kg bag of sugar or flour that would be good too. Washing powder anything with a weight on it.
Also I bought mum a great set of kitchen scales from BIG W I think they were under $30 digital one too, excellent, I’m going to buy a set for travelling as they are also super light. If you don’t have one there let me know and I’ll pick you up a set because I’m going down to get one for myself at any rate. You’ll be o.k. promise, just give yourself a couple of days to settle down because it is hard to concentrate on anything when your children are sick so I totally understand. If you like I’ll give you a buzz on the phone but you but you’ll have to email me your phone number. joy@finer.com.au

RAJAH: YES, those vitamins sound really good as well, I’ll give them a go when I finish my bottle of Blackmores ones. Rajah, how long have you been on the plan and how much did you weight when you first went. Also love to know how much you have lost in that time. If you don’t want to answer I totally understand but it would be great to know. Rajah, make sure just before you go in for your weigh in at Cohen’s you weight yourself just before you jump in the car, that way when you get there you will be able to tell the exact difference as you wouldn’t have eaten or drank anything in-between. Also don’t panic if your appointment is in the middle of the afternoon as your weight by that time will be up by at least 800g to 1kg due to eating breakfast, lunch and drinking the water, remember your true weight is in the morning when you get up, go to the toot and then jump on the scales, it fluctuates dramatically through out the day so don’t ever even think of jumping back on them after you have done your first initial morning weight in or else you are going to start to feel disappointed. I really find this is so important. Those scales at Harvey Norman sound great by the way and a really good price.

RMJ: Very interesting, they actually told me that once you loose it and then if you put on weight again that you have to pay another $680 to get a new program. I’ll definitely remember what you said.

IMR: So good to hear from you, you have just done absolutely fantastic and must look like a SUPER MODEL now. It is great to hear what you have to say after the re-feed. I am panicking about it as I am so use to the plan now. I have 2.25kgs to go until I order it but unfortunately it is not going to be convenient as I have to go to Adeladie for Training on the 22nd Jan back again for 5 days and away training again until the 1st Feb and then off to Canada around the 13th Feb and will be teaching over there for up to 3 weeks. What do you think I should do. I would really like to start the re-feed when I get back from over seas?

DIVINEMISSNAT: You’ll be fine when you get home, that is my problem as well, being home makes it so easy but I am terrified when I have to start my travelling on the 22nd of Jan, I think I’ll just get a pre cooked chicken from the supermarket, lettuce and yoghurt and live on those types of things whilst I’m away. I can’t tell you how scared I am because I just don’t want to break it in any way possible.

Speak to you all soon and HAPPY NEW YEAR again.
Best wishes, from JOY

Happy new year everyone. I am sorry that I am not as prolific a writer as the rest of you, but I do read all the messages posted. I am on day 18 and according to my scales I have lost 7 kgs plus 21 cm already, I am so excited. I have a LOT of weight to lose, 60kg. i have tried many diets before and have given up after loosing 10 kg as it has taken SO LONG. I am excited that I have had such fantastic results so far and this will keep me on track, along with all your support and inspiration.
Joy, dont be afraid, and good luck with your eating while travelling, hope you cope well, it just needs some planning.
best wishes to everyone
Barbara

Hi there and Happy New Year to you all, am down to 86.7kg and 68kg is my goal18.7kg to go whohoo. Now about the theory of having to order a new program Ive had my program since Jan last year got down to 78kg went off the program for 6 months went up to 95.8kg and am now using my old program and have lost 9.1kg in 5 weeks so I wonder if you need a new program or they are just wanting to make more dollars off us?? I will let you all know how I go cos im still losing weight and have my refeed as well, so time will tell if it all works out in the end for me.
Michelle hope your little boy is ok give him a big hug from me, Ive noticed everyone is coughing and has a cold at this time of year, touch wood it doesnt come my way. Hang in there its hard to stick to things when your kids are sick you are tired and sleep deprived and doing 50 things at once you dont have much more to lose and have done well. I think with the hot weather about too you dont feel like eating from the heat just keep the water bottle full and keep gussling.
Hey Pippa how you going? Hope you are losing lots of weight now you are back on plan. Hey Cryss hope you didnt party too hard last night! Joysey my friend dont you worry about anything you trooper i would just order the refeed now cos you'll lose more weight on the refeed the more food is gonna shock your body and i think you'll be fine. Well guys have a great New Years Day will talk soon just wanted to say a quick hello. Take care Chez xoxox[/SIZE][/B]

Hello!

Hey Gals

The weather in Sydney today is just BOILING! I've stayed inside all day with the a/c on, but even with that, certain parts of the house still feel heaps hot. Like Chez mentioned in her post, I've just kept the water bottle full all day and kept gussling away. Im onto my 4th Litre bottle for the day, and I still feel thirsty! The water cooler is working over-time. I cooked fish for lunch with salad, but after I finished eating the fish I just couldnt manage to eat the salad - blame it on the heat. For the most part of the day, I've done the DIY project of putting my engagement party invitations together & finally finished.

I was going to go out last night on NY eve, but new that I would most likely be tempted to deviate & have a glass of something to drink or nibble on something I wasnt allowed, plus the heat was still lurking after the sun had gone down, so I sat back and watched the fireworks on the Tv.

Today is day 57 for me on the program. Had my 8wk weigh in yesterday (at home, 'cos I don't go into the clinic, only correspond via email/phone), anyways I was pleased with the result of 106.7kg. Total loss of 18.3kg & 48.5cm off my body - Yippiee! I weighed myself again this morning and have dropped another 400gm, taking me to 106.3kg, just another 1.3kg to go until I've lost 20kg! I feel so proud of myself having lost this much, its an amazing feeling. Only another 40kg to go - hopefully I'll be there by April/May this year - seems so long away, but I am more determined now than ever before. I've got to stay focused, I'm getting married & the end of the year, and I want to SHOCK all the relo's who havent seen me for ages!!

I've read alot of posts of people who have deviated for days over the xmas / holiday period. STOP NOW. Don't let tomorrow, and then the next day be your new day. START NOW. C'mon girls, I log into the forum here every day and rely on your posts for motivation.

Moni - YOU GO GIRL! Your weight loss is truly amazing & I bet you feel great about it. How long has it taken you to lose 30kg? Keep at it, because the results are definitely worth it . Also Congrats on reaching your xmas goal!! Hope your enjoyed your few days away.

Casey - REMOVE all the chocolate from your house!!

KaseysMum - You'll be in the 70's before you know it! If Cohens tell you or anyone to order a new program, I'm sure its down to making the extra dollar. Keep us posted on how your old program goes, I'm sure it will be fine.

Barbara - I had 60kg to lose in total as well. I know myself that its ALOT, but YOU CAN DO IT - You've had great results so far :)

Josey - I love your posts. They are full of inspiration, advice & support for all of us. You'll blitz that last 4.8kg. If I were you, I'd probably order the re-feed now, but just don't start it until you are a little closer to your goal ? I've got to go to Uluru / Alice Springs in March for 2 weeks for work, (which I'm worried about as far as the program goes), like you, I think I'll live on the Yoghurt, chicken & salad. I'll take my food scales with me, but as for the other scales - I certainly aint going to pack them in my suitcase. The travelling will be a challenge for both of us! Best of luck.

Divinemissnat - Theres going to be no "get of Cohens Jail" free card for you! - Nar just joking, it would be hard without food scales but try your best to stick to the foods your allowed - let the temptation throw itself out the window & just try to keep yourself occupied.

Cryss - Havent spoken to you for a few days! How are you going on the 1st day of the New Year? Hope your on track and that new years celebrations havent tempted you. This year is YOUR YEAR to kick that fat to timbucktoo & don't let it come back!! hehehe Im going to go back to Taraonga Zoo in August this year and pose with the gorilla's - lets hope that you'll be able to pick me from the rest next time!

Okay, gotta wrap this up here. I've attached some progress pics .........

I Have To Correct My Weight Loss..... I Weighed On My Friends Scales And They Said 113 But I Have Just Weighed On The Sacales I Always Do And They Have Said 115kg's Sorry About That Guy's.

Talk To You Soon.

Introducing myeslf

Hi All, thanks for the warm welcome.
Sunraysia covers the North Eastern region of Victoria, with main city being Mildura and the North Western region of NSW main town being Wentworth.

I have about 35 kg to loose... Cohens say I should be between 59 - 61 kg... however I haven't been that size since high school, and from what I remember I looked rather boyish at that time, anyway need to loose a good 30kg before I start splitting hairs.... I am a new mom with a beautiful 6 mth old daughter... and 'packed on the pounds' while having her, so I'm looking forward to my existing clothes fitting again....

Well for me this is supposed to be day 7, but realistically day 5... haven't found things too hard so far, didn't get any headaches touch wood, but was VERY tired... had to really struggle to pull myself off the couch for a few days.... we've also had high temperatures here with predictions of 43 + for a few days...

I currently don't have any scales to weigh myself as though it would be too tempting to jump on them daily.... so at this stage and trying to judge progress by way clothes are fitting.... have my first weigh in in 3 weeks, may purchase some after that... though Harvey Norman ones sound good....

I guess for me at this stage it seems surreal, don't really know if I believe I will ever shift these lumps and bumps that wobble when I walk....

However your postings are all very encouraging and it's great to read everyones success stories, and to be reassured that others are endeavoring to acheive on Cohens too...... I haven't heard from my clinic since picking up my program.... I read about weekly measures - am I supposed to go there or do them myself???

Keep up the great work everyone

Cheers
Trish

Hi everyone,
Lisa, great to hear that you have successfully finished your re-feed and are enjoying "life After Cohens". I am also really pleased to hear you have joined Curves. Isn't it great!! I think this has helped me to maintain my weight loss even though I know I am currently eating too much. My Curves has only been shut on the public holidays (thank goodness), and is open normal hours every other day. I am now thinking that I will go back on the program probably at the beginning of February, and am planning to go the whole hog and lose another 15kg which will bring me right down to Cohens weight range of 60 kg. I am still really happy with myself now, but I still have a bit of a tummy etc, and I feel so terrific that I figure I will only feel better if I lose a little bit more. The lose skin that I had when I finished the re-feed is definately toning up, and under my arms ( which was the worst) has improved heaps.
Joysey, the re-feed can be really confusing, and I found I needed to shop every couple of days as the quanities changed every couple of days. If you have access to a supermarket and scales, you could probably complete it while travelling, but it would be much easier to do at home. You do continue to lose weight while on the re-feed, and I lost another 2.5kg while doing it.
Trish, if you stick to the program religiously you will have no trouble losing your weight, and you won't be able to believe how quickly it disappears. Every few weeks you go down a size. I lost 35kg in 4 and a half months, and although I still have a bit to lose after Christmas, New Year etc, I feel terrific and am so pleased I embarked on this journey. You WILL shift those wobbly bumps, and soon you will be thrilled to look at yourself in the mirror, and won't believe the reflection looking back at you!
Chez,Moni,Mel & Barbara, you are all having excellent weight loss. Stick with it and keep up the great work.
Nat & Casey try to get back on track as soon as possible. Remember, they say that every day you break it for adds another week onto the end of your program, and who wants to be on Cohens for any longer than they have to. Anyway good luck and if you have to have junk food in the house, hide it in the back of your cupboard so you don't see it when you open the door.
Anyway, take care everyone. Talk to you all soon.
Beck
