Club 200 Plus

Hi I'm Bex. I'm 221lbs. I was 231 when I started 6 weeks ago, doesn't seem to be coming off quick enough for my liking :( my mini goal is 190lbs by September and my ultimate goal is 160lbs. Hoping for a bit of support and advice :)

Bex, I wouldn't worry about your rate of loss, hon, anything above 1lb a week is actually quite good; slow and steady will get you there much better than a crash diet that you may end up giving up on. Make sense? Have you measured yourself yet? You may lose inches and not so much in the way of pounds certain weeks; it happens.

I agree, if your losing more than 1 -2 lbs a week you gotta re-evaluate your calories intake/exercise routine. Slow and steady wins the race. ;)

Slow progress can be frustrating indeed, but unless you have 6 hours a day to workout, it 's the only way to get the weight off and keep it off.

As MsWant2BHealthy allready said, don't just concentrate on your weight. See results in measurements, or you maybe took "before"pictures, then take some pictures after a few weeks/months and compare. You'll see the change and that's motivation right there

Hi, thanks for replying! So today is weigh day and yep I only lost a pound but I've lost an inch from around my waist. It's hard keeping motivated when I've lost weight before and it came off so much quicker last time but I need to realise that this times for life! If them inches keep adding up, in a few months I will be one happy girl. Took some before pictures and can't see much of a difference yet but gonna leave it another month and then compare!

I'm Rob and I'm 285 and my goal weight is 199! I'm eating healthy and trying to stay fit by doing DDP Yoga. I also have a daily blog on youtube DDPYogaVsRob

Thanks everyone for the support, I'm looking forward to sharing my results!

Interesting, never heard of DDP Yoga before.
Never been a big fan of yoga, find a bit tedious and the spiritual part hasn't interested me (yet).

But I do see the benefits of yoga, so maybe I'll have to give this DDP Yoga a try soon.
I'm starting a P90X - Insanity hybrid training tomorrow, so it'll have to wait a bit, but a bit of variation of workout programs should keep it interesting!

So thanks Rob for sharing and good luck on your journey, and I'll watch you blog now and then to see how you're doing.

Well started a new cycle today, P90X-Insanity hybrid.
Kind of forgot how hard the Ab Ripper X is after a workout of pullups, pushups and weightlifting... but I remember now :)

Hi, I am at 205, goal is 160. This is so hard....ugh! Thyroid cancer packed on the pounds and now they don't want to leave. Does anyone have a solid eating plan they like that works well? I am starting Zumba for exercise and work in my vegetable garden about 3 hours each day (hard work). Thanks!

Back on the wagon for good this time.

24 year old. Work shift work as a registered nurse. Been having issues with weight for a while. I can keep it around the same high number but have trouble keeping it lower. That is going to change.

Starting weight 2 weeks ago. 247lbs--ugh

weight today. 236.8lbs--

Goal is to get under 200 by end of July or near 200.

Completely changed my eating and drinking habits. Exercise everyday now and don't let the weather depict it.

I've been walking/cycling a lot more--cycling is def kicking my butt as its been a LONG time.

Usually doing 6-9km per day in 1.5 hrs of walking and 9km of biking in 30min (not both per day but some days yes)(I walk probably 5km+ per day at work but its not continuous walking) . Then doing weights. 10 reps of 40lbs in 3 different configurations repeated 5 times. Def notice a big difference in my back as I have narrowing from an accident.

Changed my diet completely. Eating 3 meals per day. Lots of vegetables, fruit and water. Pork loin or chicken as meat. Will be adding fish shortly.

Plan on starting p90x again after I hit 235 which could be Wednesday. Then I'm hoping to see some huge differences in weight loss as I'm hoping to drop 8lbs a week safely. And thats with doctors looking in as I work with a few!

I don't know if P90x is the best program to lose that much weight in such a short amount of time.
You'll be pulling, pushing and lifting quite a bit with P90X, which will mean you will gain musclemass, which is not benificial to the numbers the scale will throw at you. But seeing that you've done P90X before I'm guessing you know that.

Yeah I know that p90x will add muscle. Looking at killing too birds with one stone. Build muscle and tone. It's not like I'm "fat" tho. I have rock solid legs from work and sports. Just gotta work on the waist up. But as of today I'm at 232.2 lbs. I do know today's loss wasn't the healthiest as I'm working a 18 hr shift with limited intake. Def losing inches as I have to buy new clothes for work and for going out.

Weigh in this morning: 199.4

Now have to work hard to stay out of this club (well not that I don't like the ppl in this club, but you know what I mean right?)

Hi I'm Mady and I'm 216.7 lbs. My first goal is just under 200, or more exactly, 198 lbs by October 1st, 2013. I’m eating healthy and trying to fit exercise back into my routine. I’m currently doing 40 min on the stationary bike 6 days a week, but I’m planning to incorporate other activities as well.
Needless to say, I’m counting the months until I move to another club. But until then, I’m enjoying the all the support and motivation I can get. Good luck to us all on this journey!!!

Guideon - cograts on leaving this club!!!

Hello! My name is Kreamie and I can't wait to be out of this club haha! My current weight is 250, my next goal is 245.. taking it slow one day at a time! I started eating healthy and am trying to be more active. I was in a accident so exercise is out of the question for a couple more weeks.

Hey guys! I'm Jessica. I've been struggling all year, but no more excuses!!! I'm weighing in at 209.6. My goal is 170. I'm hoping to lose 8-10/lbs a month. I'm about to kick it into gear on work outs!!!
