Club 200 Plus

I'm not in the 200s quite yet, but I'm going to join up here at 318 because I'll be in the 200s soon I hope. I've been 200+ since I was in the 7th grade and I think I broke that 300 marklast fall, but I'm droping now. Look out 200s, here I come!

you can do it! I started at 326... now ive worked my way to 262... hopin to bust into the 250s some time soon. one day at a time

Hey, can I join?

Starting weight was 280, got myself down to 225-ish. The last 25 pounds have been S...L...O...W... in coming off (damn plateaus), so I'll be in the 200's for awhile yet, I think.

I'd love the motivation!

Welcome to all the other new people to this group. I hope to be able to help keep you motivated as well as motivate myself to lose this weight. I am trying to do it in 9 montsh but won't be too heartbroke if I don't lose the full amount just hoping to get down for sure to at least 200 if not to onederland at least by the time i see my husband again. I haven't seen onederland in 5 years if not more as i started gaining weight rather rapidly after i turned 17 and got pregnant the first time. I think a lot of it had to do with the bc i was using at the time (depo.. damn shot)... lol anyways I am here now to kick my butt into gear and get toned up and lose weight at the same time. Good luck to all in the new journey we are working towards.

Well, I made it past the 220's, next goal, the 210's. I added walking, last night my girlfriend and I walked 7km after dinner. It was a brisk walk but not too much as I haven't walked all that much (except to the elevator). I find it hard to take the stairs at work since I'm usually going up/down to another office and with heels the cement stairs are really tough.

Well that's me, this week, in a nutshell. I'll check back in again next week!

p.s. I love you guys, but I really can't wait to get out of this club (by going below the 200 mark).

The sun is shining today! Yeah! :eh:

congrats on breaking the 220's

Congrats on the weight loss and breaking the 220 mark. I can't wait until i break that mark. Today according to the scale I am now 258.8 which is down from 261 or 263 depending on whether i go by the doc at which was 263 on 7/12/07 or by my scale when i first started posting on the forum which was 7/16/07. Either way i feel great and hope to continue going down in weight as well as i wish you the best of luck in your journey.

sorry your struggling Orleans but you can do it. Just change up your routine or add some more time or distance to it and you will break the plateu. Good luck

I think my problem is my eating habits. I don't eat "terribly" by any means but I don't eat "great" either....

I also never want to NOT run every day. I struggle to stay home but do it 2 times a week and run the other 5 days.

The honeymoon of initial, excessive fat is over....time for the real game to behin

This morning when I got on the scale and noted that I had only dropped 1lb, I was initially upset, but I've got PMS AND it's better than gaining 1lb.

I agree with the "changing it up", it really makes a difference. Not so much adding more but changing. Your "fat" cells need to be shaken up a bit, he he he, litterally. Last night I had this crazy idea that in order to clean the kitchen, I needed to blare some 80's music and move to the beat while I picked everything up. By the time I was done it felt like a workout!

So, keep up the good work everyone!

I'll check back again next Friday.

i know what you mean

Hahah.. I so know what you mean bout them needing to be shaken up a bit. I love cleaning while listening to music it makes it seem although its work not so much like work cause your enjoying the music while doing it. Yes sometimes it does seem like a workout after doing it but at least its somewhat exercise even if its not weights or running or something.

keep up the good work everyone

I'd like to join !
I broke into the 200's yesterday finally. Am at 299.4 lb today . My short term goal is to get to 250 around the middle of Feb 2008 . Then I'll start a new goal . but I plan to never be in the 300's again!

I'd like to join too!

I've been in the 200's for awhile now...since January 2006, but I've been struggling lately to get out of them. I currently weigh 233lbs and I so desperately want to see a 1--lbs on the scale since I can't ever remember seeing that number. I guess I'm just more looking for motivation since I do still have quite a ways to go even though I've come so far.

Another 3lb down

OK, so it's not shedding away as fast as I'd like but it is going down, I didn't weigh in last week because I actually went up 1lb (PMS). But I'm trying to get out more and just do anything active. I went to the driving rage, with work, and WOW my arms are sore! I'm going golfing with my husband this long weekend. Today I'm staying home, blaring the 80's music and cleaning my house in preparation of the long weekend! YEAH!

Keep up the good work!

figured I might as well join you all in this club since I'm in the 200s. not trying to break it yet, just trying to get to the lower end.

doing it through a balanced diet and lots of exercise (run 3-4 times a week and do elliptical work/ bike riding/hiking on off days).

so yeah, hey everyone
