Gads - I need to get better about checking in here more often. My last post was 8/20.

Since then, I have walked 31.2 miles or 49.92 kms which brings our new total to...

1065.98

I'll try and be better about posting as it happens!
 
did 10km on bike thurs and 4 on rowing today

New Total is 1051.98

3.5 kms for today which brings our total to 1048.48kms remaining.

I haven't lost anything this week, but I haven't gained either which is the next best thing. I could use a lot of excuses like TOM, muscle mass etc, but really I had a few days where I didn't exercise at all and I ate too much....I'm one of these people who eat when they feel a bit off instead of avoiding food or losing appetite. Anyway it just reinforces my need to exercise everyday and to still be vigilant about my portion control. Conversely it also demonstrates how easy it is to lose weight........intake must be less than expenditure!

Well its spring in my part of the world, we've had a weekend of glorious spring weather. I'm going to start getting up an hour earlier and go for a walk as well as my usual workouts at the gym. I'll start swimming again in another couple of weeks, can't wait. I don't like swimming indoors and I LOVE swimming in the ocean baths. The feeling of salt drying on your skin is so much more invigorating than the smell of chlorine:)

Okay i did 12km on Stationary bike yesterday, and 8km rowing machine today, and 14km of push bike (ok i did 7km to work and im doing 7km home again afterwards)

Thats 34km which brings us to the new total of ...
995.98

Wow we are in the three digits! woot!

I would love to join this club. I am not entirely sure on how to but I use a rowing machine a few times a week and want to be included on this trip!! Please help me figure out this thing and help me make sure I am doing everything right, because I feel a bit lost and just a bit stupid! Thanks, Skye

Just count up whatever km your rowing machine or bike or whatever you do has, and make sure its KM not miles () then get the last posted distance and deduct what you did and post it :)

Big huge hills!

I'm down for 5km of walking today.

I live up a huge gigantic hill so really it should count for way more, but hey I guess I'll play by the rules!

That brings the new total to:

921.37

Where exactly are we walking, rowing, jogging, treadmilling, stairclimbing, elyptical training to anyhow? I guess I will have to go back to the start and do some research! Hope everyone is doing good today! I walked to town and had 5 different people tell me I am looking fit or slim or some other brilliant things to that effect! I came home and did loads of exercising. With days like this and my new found great forum full of awesome people I feel unstoppable today! It's been along time since I felt this positive! :D

ok, i dont know how to masure km, lol, but i walked over 2 miles yesterday, done an exercise viideo and the gazelle, so i think i did pretty good, i am comin down with a cold though, so i hope it doesnt keep me from gettin more done today :( Anybody ever had to workout while sick? any pointers?? Ok, well, let me kno, and thanks for the welcme~!!!!
 
another post, if i can convert miles to km, can i count down to? or has iit already started with specific ppl?? Lemme kno, thanks~!!!

By the way, i try not to weigh throughout the week, but i couldnt help it when i got home, and after eating, i went and weighed, and i was 290 earlier this week, now i am 283.8!!! YAY!! The official weeks loss will be tuesday, so ill keep yall posted, if i can do this, i know yall can too!!!!
I will try to get a newer pic of me today, i kno there wont be any showin difference, but thats an old pic, i need a new one, ttyl, bye byez~!
 
Don't bother going back to the beginning of this club - we first walked from Victoria(?) to Banff...now we're going from Banff to Winnipeg :)
 
Congrats to BigSkye for hitting halfway mark! And i guess so am i , so congrats me too!

Ive done 8 on stationary bike and 14 on the push bike today for a total of 22km today
New Total: 895.37km
