I am 30yrs old i live in Johannesburg South Africa and I ultimately want to lose 48kg so I have a very long road ahead of me.
I just read that wishes did 20km :eek: *GULP* wow I am not sure that I can do that - but I am planning on getting there.
I am not fit at all but I am now very motivated - this forum is realy great.

I did 20km on the stationary bike as punishment for not getting up at 5.20am and going to the gym like i usually do :O

I was off for a couple weeks and having trouble getting back into it.

ditto for me Wishes. August was a really bad month for me. And September was a slow start for me too... which has dragged into October. I'm still losing. Though very very slowly. :rolleyes:

I'm hitting the gym tomorrow (part of the newbies/oldies challenge). Don't wanna let my team down. p'-'q I'm DETERMINED to lose more than 1 pound this month. I've been inching SO slowly that it's driving me insane. GRR!

So gym tomorrow morning. I'll log in my km tomorrow. :)
 
whew. I'm beat. Mostly anaerobic workout today though. Tomorrow hitting the gym again. Will do more cardio. Got SOME cardio today. About 6.5 km.

So that's 744.75km to go. :D

I'm sorry I haven't posted here in a long time!

It was getting really hard for me to check in on diaries and check clubs :eek: Especially with challenges going.

I do keep track of my time & distances, Initial C, do you want me to post my distance since my last post? It would be a lot!

If not, I will try and remember to stop by here daily - but that I just know I won't always remember.

Your call - and hey, it's good seeing you, I haven't seen a diary from you pop up lately! How have you been?
 
I think that challenge died a slow death, hehe

Perhaps we should come up with another challenge?
 
Oh, I would want to finish this last challenge - and I figured out how many miles /kms since my last post (20 September), but I'd want to hear what C says. I probably won't commit to another disstance challenge for awhile simply because I don't remember to check in regularly enough.

I think cause alot of the original members left the forum and/or busy with some other stuff. I don't mind either way. When I suggested this walking challenge, it was just for fun to help keep us motivated. I could swing either way. :)

i weight around 257 one time.. everything was going well..
but i have lost the will in the last 2-3 months or so...

City Shooter - welcome to the club! If you'd like to continue, just walk, run, bike, and deduct your distance in kms from the running total - we're heading from Victoria Canada to Winipeg. When I first joined this club, I was in my 200's and I'm out now!

I will make a point of posting daily until this club challenge is over!

OK - I've gone back and calculated the miles I've gone since my last post (20 September), I just can't let this thread die without at least finishing the distance!

Since I last posted, I have gone 175.7 miles or 281.12 kms - The last posted distance was 737 kms which brings our new total to 455.88 kms
 
Hehe And I can say that ive done
4km running
87km Cycling
since i last posted on the 10th (i went back over my fitday lol)
Thats a total of 91km, so

New Total: 364.88
