Has anyone else had this sensation ....

Something strange has happened to me over the last few days........I don't feel like eating anything 'naughty'! I suddenly realised all this exercise and good eating is paying off, I feel so much better, my clothes are actually fitting better and I feel 'lighter'. I absolutely love the feeling after I've really pushed myself doing cardio, those endorphins really do give you a natural high:)

Now, usually I'm strictly a Friday weigh in girl but........I stepped on the scales this morning and I've reached my next mini goal of 205lbs! So I'm going to change my ticker right NOW:D Then I'm going to set my next target... one-derland here I come!

Sorry for this ramble......I just feel so great!!! How does everyone else feel when they've reached their mini goas?
 
haha i only have one goal for now and thats to get to 90kg.
If i have to many close goals i will be to busy celebrating to actually keep it up.
 
Wishes - I understand what you are saying about having too many goals and that may not be for everyone.I find setting smaller goals help me with my weight loss. If I focus too much on the final weight I can get disheartened and feel that I'll never get there. So for now I'll keep plugging away at losing each 5lbs as though that is the only weight I have to lose.

BTW my rewards for achieving targets are things like facials, manicures, massages etc. something that pampers the body and has a slightly indulgent feeling. Definitely not food!!! Thats how I got this big in the first place.... emotional eating! (and far too much)

I would just like to say view this website if you would like to be on a diet that really works!!! We have this same website in Australia called Cohen's Lifestyle Clinic and believe me it works :)

You will not be dissapointed, this is not another Fad diet!! No exercise required, and the weight just melts off you!!

They call it sureslim over here in NZ. And sure it costs you an arm and a leg but basicly they just give you a low calorie diet which is why you loose. The medical is in case you have something wrong with you thats causing a problem to which most people just over eat. So they find what you like and dont like and then give you a diet to follow that suits those likes and dislikes. But basicly its the same old low calorie diet that everyones been telling you for years to do. You just have to pay like $1000 to hear it in a different form.
Its like the diet pills that always add in "garunteed to make you loose weight when combined with healthy eating and exercise". No shit - its not the pills thats doing it haha :D

I had an accident at the gym last night......I was getting on the treadmill after I had finished on the eliptical, and bam! I went down like a sack of potatoes! The treadmill was still going when I went to step on it, only I hadn't noticed. The whole gym virtually stopped to see what the thud and scream was......so not only did I hurt my leg and arm, my dignity was a bit bruised as well:D I was in a bit of shock as I did fall quite heavily (no pun intended).The fellow on the next treadmill assured me that the treadmill was still going when I stepped on it, as I was a bit confused as to why I fell. Any way, after I collected myself and stopped shaking I hopped back on, but only for 15mins.
 
Oh no!!! I'm so sorry!! :( I'm glad you're ok though....how in the world was the treadmill still going--did the loser before you just jump off and left it running? (if so, what a freakin' idiot!)

Well, I hope there are no more mishaps at the gym. I see by your ticker that you're getting super close to the 199 mark---yeah!! You can do it!!
 
Thanks Kaitie - I'm OK and yes the 'loser' did in fact jump off the treadmill when it went into cool down mode and didn't turn it off! Although at the time I was unaware of this, the fellow on the next treadmill told me that it was a young fellow who had jumped off it and 10 seconds late I came around the corner to hop on so I did not see him jump off.....talk about timing! Anyway I'm off to the gym again tonight, and this time I'll double check the treadmill!

I'm back from the gym kms for today are 12.5kms (2.5 treadmill/10km bike) which brings our distance remaining to : 1157.2

Great going BWM....4 miles is great! How are your legs feeling? At the moment I'm trying to increase my speed. At the moment its 1km/10mins. In miles its an average of 1mile/16.06mins.

Distance for today

Today I took my 8 month old yellow lab to the park and walked her around the lake. It was really hot and humid...but we did the whole 1.5 mile trail. That brings our distance down to 1144.4. We would have gone another round, but she pulls at the leash pretty hard, so I think I burn double the calories when I walk her compared to when I walk alone!! Tomorrows is weigh in day!! Yikes! I have not been exercising as much as I should. Nursing school started back up this week (senior year), so I had to read about a million and one pages to prepare for lectures. The first week is always pretty hectic, but I should be able to make it back to the gym this weekend. Unitil then it will be walks at the park and around the neighborhood with the dog, and making sure I eat healthy.

Our new distance is now 1144.4 km to go!!!

did 10km on bike yesterday and another 3.5 on rowing today

This thread has quietened down a bit over the last few weeks.......come on everybody lets keep moving, we can make it to Winnipeg!

KMs for yesterday and today are 4.5kms which brings our distance remaining to : 1126.4kms

I didn't exercise Sunday (day of rest) or Monday and Tuesday due to just feeling really BLAH! My little boy was sick with high temperatures and the usual expulsion (that should really read explosion) of bodily fluids! I think lack of sleep and maybe a touch of the virus was enough to cause blahness.
