Unstickied!

My question exactly Jennifuffa........what is unstickied?

No kms today, Sunday is day of rest! I don't count a leisurely stroll with the children as exercise:)

aussiechick, I think unstuck means that we won't always be toward the top of the page. We will be further & further down unless we keep posting.

A cool 71 when I ran this morning, it felt so cool & good. It was 77 when I was done with my run. I did 8 KMS (8 miles) with no time I actually turned my watch off after 1.6 KMS (1 mile). I just did not want it on, I did do my 5 miles without walking. Well I off to a buffet & I will be very very very bad.

KMS 8.0 / NO TIME / 6:00 AM / a cool 72 degrees

I walked 5.6 km yesterday (ugh, it was SO hot and my forehead is BURNT)... and adding that to Troutman's 2 unposted runs:

81.03 km left~

"Unstickied" means that there won't be any clubs that are always at the top of every page in the club section. There are lots of clubs now when there used to only be one or two. If we try to sticky them all, they would likely take up most of the page. As long as you are regularly posting, your club will stay on the front page. Sorry for the inconvenience. We hope you understand.

Time to think of a new walking destination.

Hi guys any ideas of where we will walk next? We can continue across Canada or we can pick a new location.

Just back from the gym

12.5 kms (2.5 treadmill/10 bike)

Brings us to

64.5kms

I'm happy to continue across Canada (am singing 'Trans Canada Hwy' in my best Gene Pitney voice as I type):D

I'm joining this! :)

Hey ya'll!

I am SO joining this club. I tried to start reading from the very beginning of this thread, but my gosh,I'd never get to post if I did that. I'm glad to see that ya'll are VERY close to your walking goal. It's such a great idea. :)

I am going to try and get my butt up in the morning to help ya'll out with your goal and do some miles on the bike or treadmill. Have you guys picked out your next location for walking yet?

Hi Tampa! Welcome to the thread.

Let's see... We'll be in Banff soon... So how about we start walking South and visit our American friends?

Chicago is 2817.6km
LA is 2644.8 km.

Or we can trek across Canada first... and go to Winnipeg which is 2316.8 km.

Conversely, we can do a drinking challenge and try to drink the quantity of an average pool which is about 332,170 liters.

We can also do weightloss challenge. Like... Everyone tries to lose 10 pounds in about a month's time.

What do you all think? Which one do you guys like the most?

no pool

Well, if you divide 332,000 liters by about 20 members, and then again by 2 liters a day, it would take us about 8300 days to drain the pool! That is only about 23 years. :D I was thinking more of a backyard pool, but those would take a long time, too.

I think I would favor the walking challenge again, since there is already a 10 pound challenge going on in another thread.

Running

Had weigh in today, down 6.5 Lbs for the week.

I ran :) 21.2 KMS. today (13.3 Miles) . It was planned, I did not know if I could do it. I did do it & did it well. I averaged :) 13:30 a mile  I thought it would be more like 15:00 Mins a mile. Last week I just changed my time from 15 Mins. a mile to 14 Mins. a mile. So there was no way I thought I could do it for 13.3 Miles. So maybe I should lower my pace for shorter runs, I'll see. As you can see I'm very excited about my run.

KMS - 21.2 /  2:58:19 :) / 72 degrees when started 87 when done.
Avg. Mile Pace: 13:30

Isn't that half a marathon, Troutman? Way to go!

C - Any destination is fine with me. I guess we could even walk on an imaginary bridge from Alaska to Hawaii one of these days. LOL

twinmom2791, Yes it is 1/2 a marathon 13.1 miles. Very impressed you knew that. My wife also knew, & I was shocked.

Cool! Wonder why guys always seem surprised when it turns out they married a smart chick? ;) Pretty soon you'll have to change your moniker to Marathonman. :)

Okay, put me down for 2.65 km (still breaking in my new shoes) and I'll add Troutman's 21.5...

38.4 km to go!
