Club 160s

when i'm out at the park, i tend to forget to hydrate... and i drink too much soda... i'm sure this is my more indicative of my stable weight at the moment...

overall for the long weekend i may have dropped a lb or two.
the effect of moving a lot more but eating about the same as on one of my normally more sluggish days.

ok, a bit of a cheat... but all my sweats are in the wash and i really want to see if i can hit the 150's even for a day, so for now the only rule is anything i could wear outside without getting arrested... minus shoes. i'll even add a t-shirt so i don't get gender bashed.

well the sweatpants are warm out of the dryer so it's back to normal weigh-in gear... besides the basement is freezing (by my SoCal temperature scale where in the 50's is freezing)... and this way i can always lose a lb very quickly... :)

i'm 71.25" these days...

so i could probably add 1-2 lbs to these weights to be accurate. i was 165 (at 72.5") in college when i was in the best shape of my life playing hockey during the winter and soccer throughout the other months. i think where i am now is where i should be. i can't imagine dropping into the lower 150 or lower... i think i would look anorexic. dropping down into the low 160's i have noticed that that last bit of pudge in my lower gut is definitely getting smaller, but i can also see my ribs, so i don't think it would be healthy to lose a lot more. as i've said before, i was simply looking to get back to 185-190, but the combination of low sugar and intermittent fasting has been a miracle as far as i'm concerned. maybe the best part is that even when presented with the chance, i find it difficult to eat a lot.

i f anything, i would like to drop a bit more off my waistline. i'm fitting into 34" waist pants, but if i could get to 32", the general fit would be better. off the rack 34/34 pants seem to leave a lot of space in my butt/ hip area. i'm ok with my weight, but probably like everyone else, the distribution could be a little better.

Well, good for you for getting your weight where you want it - and I expect the toning up could follow without too much trouble. I'm rather glad you're going to stick around in the 160s Club, because I'm half-considering heading that way myself, in a while. :)

Just ducking in, at 76.9 kg = 169½ lb, to check out the action in the 160s Club! I mightn't be here for long, but it's a good feeling right now, in this minute! :D

Welcome! I was just looking in here myself yesterday and realized it was looking a bit dusty and abandoned. Thanks for airing the place out :)

i can see two things that might make some downward progress this next month. as long as i'm inside, i've been spring cleaning a little early. not that it beats the exercise of walking, but walking usually entails having a brew or two whereas i rarely drink anything but coffee, tea or water at home. and a larger than normal grocery shopping trip about a week ago now is surely going to last me another few weeks which also fits in well with curtailing any ordering in for a while ... or longer.

Hello, both! Thank you for the welcome, LaMa! :) (looks around with interest) I like the interior design in here – and the picture windows! Is there a bar?

And yes, true about coronavirus/internet - though I think the panic-buying has been stirred up by that, and the racism? (meaning, the few incidents of people of Asian appearance being beaten up for "bringing" or "starting" it.)
Though both have certainly occurred before this, and before the internet.

I am leaving the house today, to get this laptop looked at, and a new battery for it at the same time, but otherwise life's been pretty local for the last few days, which cuts out my favourite kind of exercise - going for walks in interesting and beautiful places. :(
