Club 140s

Hey guys. I'm currently at 146lbs and working towards 130 by x-mas. I haven't seen a 3 in years and having a hard time getting there. Would love to join the group and get some motivation!!

So what are your biggest challenges? Mine have always been the late night and afternoon snacking... and fast food ;) I've been on here for about a month now and doing pretty good. So many people suggested a food journal. I was always against food journals, counting calories, etc but after finally doing it I'm so glad I did! I had no idea what my eating habits where until I saw them on paper. I really is a great place to start. Are you quite active??
 
Hey!!! So September 11th I weighed in at 156 and as of my last weigh in (last friday) I am 146! I weigh in tomorrow so we'll see if I lost anymore but either way..... I'm in the club 140's!!!!

Good luck everyone if you're pushing to the 130's.... i haven't seen 1-3-# since... well 3 years ago!!!

Hi everyone!
I'm always stuck around 140-145lbs, and right now my aunt has my scale so I can't really see what I weigh right now. I've made some changes,like running 4x a week at least, not eating past 7pm, eat 5 meals a day. I want to be 130-135lbs by my birthday in January!!!

My biggest challenges are probably snacking whenever I'm depressed, bored, etc... Whenever something is bugging me, or life is just at a standstill I eat to pass the time.

With trying to lose weight, I find it hard to cut my portion sizes in half. I've been used to recently only eating one or two meals a day, so it's harder to get back in the swing of smaller more frequent meals.

Exercising is also hard for me. I had bad ankle injuries in the past from soccer, so running and high-paced exercises are very very very tough on my body. I've been doing a LOT of walking though, and I'm feeling so much more "alive" recently.

hi lucky people,

i have been trying to lose my weight for last 1 year. before my pregnancy i was 128( i was little overweight even then). i gained about 30 lbs after the regnancy..i am short 5.1...........i had trie to lse weght in the ast, after i reached 150 i was so elated that i stopped exercising ...as result i became 156-157 again. so i have not been in the 140s for last several months. i am really desperate to be in this group. i weighed 2 days ago and i was 151.2.my mini goal is to reach 147.............and my final goal is to be 120.
i am really going to work my ass off this week and hope to be in this group next week...........................149.........149..........149........149

Hey Guys-

So i am still in this group kinda been stuck here for a few months. But i just started back to the gym today so i am hoping to get out of it soon. I did an hour of cardio today and an hour or so of weights and i feel really good. I haven't worked out since i started back to school in august and i felt like crap. But i feel great now so wish me luck that i get out of this group soon!
 
Just thought I would check in... how is everyone doing?? Where is everyone at? I'm down to 143.6lbs, and very excited about it!! Started the gym last week and also started a food journal again. I never thought it would be as helpful as it has been.

I'm down to 143 even as of today! :) Even one little lb down is a huge confidence booster for me!

I've cut my portion sizes down and I'm walking the dog so I can have an exercise buddy. I've also stopped drinking soda and I feel soooo much better.

So awesome HannahM!! Way to go cutting out the soda. :hurray: I've heard that's a hard one to give up, but makes so much of a difference. Keep it up!!
 
So ive been slacking big time since starting my new job... I decided as of today to start bring my workout stuff to work with me to do at lunch LOL!!

Anyways, getting out of the 140's is lot harder than I thought, and on certain days I weigh in at 148-150... My goal is to be at 140 by xmas time... let's hope I can pull this off!!

Good luck moving down the scale!!! I'm at around 144 and I hope to get out of the 140s Club soon and into the 130s!!!!!
 
Checking in with all of you after the holidays...

I'm so disappointed with myself. I gained three lbs during this season. :( :( :(

Thankfully though my whole family is trying to help me remain confident that I can lose this weight. Sweets are definitely my downfall.

How did you all do over the holiday season? Lose, maintain, gain?
 
I'm thrilled to announce I'm joining the 140's! 149.8 this morning LOL I'm sure I'll bounce up to 150-152 with normal fluctuations, but it is the first time I saw that scale show a 4 instead of a 5! So, though I may fluctuate up a little, I'm staying put! Can't wait to make it to my goal of 130 by the summertime! Good luck to you all, too!

Congrats on your progress!

I am in maintenance now, and I have found that I fluctuate within the range of 3.5 lbs (1.7 kg). I don't really care as long as my clothes still fit - I'm tired of buying new clothes, and it's expensive.

You'll easily lose 20 lbs by summer.
 
I'm really hoping so :) looking forward to buying a nice bathing suit and a whole new wardrobe when we get back to the States.
