Havent been able to post this last week as my internet connection died for a while. Suffice to say, I went to the gym about 3 times and managed my morning cardio twice this last week.

Today, I am going on vacation for a fortnight which will mean no excercise, no eating regime and no abstinence from all the bad things we know we shouldn't do to our bodies! I can't wait!! :D

See you all in a couple of weeks (figuratively speaking) when I will be in desperate need of some excercise :cool:

Okay so, I'm back! Haven't been to the gym yet and am still feeling the effects of the first day back at work after a long break!

I am so completely out of shape too - I can actually see the difference. Definition is softer and I think I may even have lost a little bit of muscle size too! :( I daren't take a BF% reading either! lol - suffice to say that the food was good and the beer was better but, perhaps both were a little too plentiful!! :p

Will be back in the gym tomorrow so, will post how much of a struggle it was afterwards...

Went to the gym today but, eased myself back into things gently and just did an hours cardio. Tomorrow morning, it'll be back to morning cardio and I'll also hit some weights later in the day.

Got back to eating clean again today so, I'm stoking my metabolism back to life after 2 weeks of neglect! Still, thats what holidays are for :D

Thanks all - its nice to be back :)

Couldn't manage cardio this morning - the mind was willing but, my body wanted another 30mins in bed!! Will try to make up for it at the gym later. Will be starting on 80 - 90% of the weights I was using before and build back up over the next week or so.
 
I think my body is still in 'you're-on-holiday-so-you-can-stay-in-bed-as-long-as-you-like' mode. I'll be back on track before long
 
Wow - I just got home from the gym and I can't even begin to tell you how hard that was!! I did chest and triceps. All weights reduced and even dropped a set on most excercises! I failed on bench press with no spotter on a weight I was easily lifting a few weeks ago - how embarrassing. lol. Luckily, someone noticed my predicament and rushed to my aid. I can honestly say I felt like a shadow of my former self :(

I feel good now that I'm home and I know I'll be experiencing 'good pain' in the morning. Who knows, I may even manage to get some cardio in before breakfast ;)
