Guys, whilst I love the support and encouragement and any relevant criticism I get from you all and I welcome you posting in my diary, it seems that you are posting here more than I am atm so, with the greatest of respect, could you tone it down just a teensy weensy bit please? (nb, do not take this to mean 'don't post here at all!' as I am not annoyed and would hate to see no relevant input)

Moving on....crowbarred my lazy a$$ out of bed this morning and did 25mins before breakfast. Also got that 'good pain' I was referring to yesterday and it feels GOOD!! :D

Heading to the gym after work for another hours cardio and, perhaps a swim and sauna - well, it is Friday after all :)
 
Gym was practically deserted tonight which is just how I like it! It made me wish I was lifting weights instead of just doing cardio. Did 30mins on the bike and another 30mins on the stepper - didn't have a sauna or swim as I was pretty tired afterwards...maybe tomorrow I will.
 
Wow - I even managed to get up and do 30mins cardio b4 breakfast on a Saturday!! Struggled a bit I must admit, I actually felt like I could have fallen asleep again after 15mins lol! That would have been a first, falling asleep on the cross-trainer mid cardio session!!

Weights again after work. Can't decide between back and biceps or legs and shoulders...I think I'll just see how the mood takes me when I get to the gym.
 
Had a bad day at work and very nearly talked myself out of going to the gym! Went in the end and did back and biceps - still a struggle after my break, I actually failed half way through my second set of dumbell curls. Right arm was fine but, left arm had nothing to offer :( rested for a few minutes and managed to squeeze out a third set though. Only managed 20mins cardio (time constraints rather than a lack of energy) Kept banging my knee during deadlifts too.

Can't wait til the creatine kicks in and things get back to normal.
 
Glad you have had good workouts and sorry you failed at some. It'll be ok. Don't let it get you down. We all have good days and bad days.
 
It doesn't get me down - I'm not really a 'down' kind of person.

Legs and shoulders yesterday were better although, the Arnie Press was a struggle and, again, left side failed. Rest of the workout was good, legs don't seem to have lost any strength on squats. Took Sunday off (bit of a hangover) and, didn't log in here until now as I didn't want to know the result of UFC61 (which was rubbish overall :mad: )

Bit of cardio later but, nothing excessive.
 
Nice and sedate hours cardio today.

and...Whoohoo!! My vascularity is back and the smoothness brought on by 2 weeks holiday is starting to dissipate! The veins and ripples that are the beginning of my abs showing are slowly returning - another week or so and I'll be back to where I was before :D

Many aches and pains today. quads, hams, calves and shoulders are really sore....but, in a good way :)

One bad thing though, I sem to have developed a problem with my foot over the last month. Feels like I may have a smal fracture or something but, I can't remember doing anything to it!! Its not so bad I need to rest completely but, I'll definitely be laying off the treadmill and jump rope for a while.
 
Foot was very sore this morning - was limping around the house getting ready for work. Now that I'm up and it has the support of my trainers, it doesn't feel so bad and I am no longer limping. Still managed to do 30mins on the cross-trainer before breakfast though :)

I think I must have aggravated it over the last couple of days as I did a lot of driving and took the back roads which meant using the clutch alot.

Might weigh in this weekend, depends how good things look in the mirror ;)
 
Man, this is absolutely ridiculous!! My legs are so sore that I'm walking like a cripple! lol - I think I will have to make today a rest day (apart from this morning's cardio obviously). Even though I was only planning on doing chest and tris tonight, I don't really fancy hobbling around the gym like an old man! hehe

Should be okay tomorrow - 2nd day soreness is always the worst (hopefully!)
 
My legs and foot feel SOOO much better today. Still a little bit sore but, I'm not limping at all. Possibly not the fracture I suspected but, there is definitly something not right. Still, feels like its on the mend now so, I shan't dwell on it too much.

Did the usual 30mins pre-breakfast cardio this morning. Over the next couple of weeks, I'm going to try increasing that to 45mins if I can. Chest and triceps later on (I'll try to find myself a spotter tonight!)
 
I know you're right and I know that I should probably get it checked out but, I don't really like going to the doctors tbh. I'll see how it feels over the weekend and then decide...
 
Its been a long time since I began a thread by saying.....I had an EXCELLENT workout today :D

Chest and tris. Strength almost back up to normal and squeezed out 4 sets on most excercises (thank you Creatine! ;)) 30mins cardio afterwards.

The mirror was also being kind in the changing rooms - beginning to notice a few more 'ripples' that weren't there before so, all in all, feeling pretty good atm :)
 
Couldn't go to the gym last night as I had to work late so, made up for it by doing 45mins before breakfast. Damn, that sure feels like a lot of cardio first thing in the morning!! Had some new albums to listen to though which helped to push me through. Back and biceps later on - hopefully there will be a respectable increase in strenght since last week!

Weighed in this morning and my BF% has sneaked back up to just over 14% but, after my holiday, thats exactly what I expected. Shouldn't take long to get it back as I've been extremely good diet/cardio-wise since I got back (I dread to think what it would have been 2 weeks ago!! lol)
 
Workout wasn't bad - strength was almost back to normal on most excercises. Was pleased with arm curls after failing last week.

No cardio though - it was too sunny outside so I went driving with the roof off :)
 
Internet connection has been faulty the last couple of days, hence no updates. Legs and shoulders yesterday - was very pleased overall. Weights increase on squats (which will hurt tomorrow) 4th set on all excercises although, failed midway through the 4th set on a couple. Overslept yesterday morning so, no cardio before breakfast but, was back on form today. Still only 30min but, will try to gradually increase this over the next week or two.
