Ccr 2.0

Its a prank anyway, its fake. But if it were real, yea its not right proposing like that!

Looks like we'll need a Wednesday arm day!!!

Is that serious? I'd be able to fit in with the other guys then :D
If we did that then it might be a good chance to fit in more stability stuff for the rest of the body too

Training:

BB Rows
4x5 @ 176

Single arm cable row (both arms)
2x12 @ 99
2x12 @ 110

Lat pull down
2x8@ 139
1x8@ 154

DB Chest Press
2x12@ 132
11x 132

I couldn't do these with a decline today as I didn't have anyone to help get the dumbbells in my hands while I was upside down.
It crazy how little weight I can lift for 3x12 on the chest press, it's like pushing up feathers for the first 6-8 reps and then my strength disappears almost instantly

Single arm DB deadlift
3x10 @ 88 (each arm)

BW GM
3x12

Crunches
2x15 with med ball

Elevated Iso Press up holds
1x60sec
2x45sec + 44lb plate on back

I added these because with all the discussion about them on here recently it made me wonder if I'd loss strength with them - I think I'm OK but they were harder on my stomach than I remember but had been doing crunches

Yep next Wednesday you'll be in the gym hitting arms and some iso work. I wanted to do this from the get go, but I wasnt sure how you'd hold up. Seems like you're doing great so we'll add in day 5.

Although because you're training 5 days a week, someone will probably say you're gonna die.

he will first enter serious depression, followed by his adrenal glands being shot by a shotgun. Then he will experience insomnia and probably die due to suicide.

Maybe I am misunderstanding, but for decline dumbbell chest presses I put the dumbbells on my knees as I sit down and then lay down. They are then in a good position to pull back into place for the decline chest press.

The decline is too steep, I can't get the DB's on my knees and then lift them into place and the angle is too difficult to lift any significant weight into place once I'm there

I'm going to post todays lifts in a bit but I have a telephone interview at 10, I'm not a morning person so I don't know how this is going to go

Squats
4x5@ 286

Split Squats
2x15@ 121
2x15@ 110

Hamstring Curls
2x8@ 169
1x8@ 185

DB Farmers Walk
3x185lbs

I think this is improving a lot

Front BB Shoulder Raise
3x10 @ 44
I was getting pain in my left shoulder doing these

Cheat Curls
3x5@ 48 each arm

You're an animal Rich. Keep the weight low on the front raises. Goal here isnt to kill yourself, but rather stimulate.

Clarification: are you using dumbells for the farmer walks? Those are some heavy dumbells if you are.

Also the cheat curls, are you using a barbell?

With the front raises, I find the weight easy, it just hurts on the left side, it feels like a tendon pain but performing this lift is the only time it'll hurt

For the farmers walk I'm using 42kg DB's which work out 185lbs when added together

I'd usually use a BB for the cheat curls but I used DB's yesterday due to availability of equipment.

I tried to up my lifts a little this week, I've been getting stuck in the trap of lifting what I know I can manage for a while so I tried to push past that today with some success

Bench
5x198
3x5@ 203.5

Cable Chest Fly
12x 110
2x12@ 121
10x 121

Push Press
3x8@ 99
10x 99

I'm gonna up this next time

Cable row
12x169
2x12@ 185

Lateral step ups
3x10 + 33lb plate

Body weight squats
3x12

Decline crunches
2x10

Look at that 11lb increase on the flyes, awesome. Next time try front raises with dbs, then you'll also fit in better with the other lifters. :)

Armz day will be in your inbox later today.

iz the armz day going to focus on biceptz or triceptz or forearmz? Remember, all the exercisez must have a z in them; it's mandatory.

.....and job interview)

Good luck!
