Hi all :D Fluff and Paula, I didn't get a chance to start on the room like i wanted tonight (long story that I will tell tomorrow when I can see straight LOL). Needless to say, didn't get home until 10pm and was wayyyyy too tired. I am only poppin in to answer posts so to speak :D

On that note, as hubby sits in the lazy boy snoring, I am goin' t' bed. I am bushed!!!! LOL See ya all tomorrow sometime (if I ever crawl out of bed again! LOL)

Hi Cassie!
I have to say - I love your quote! I do a newsletter for moms and their kids and I'm putting your BT Washington quote in our next edition.
Thanks!!

Hi, Mommyof2, I'm honored :D hehehehe I found that quote a few years ago and have kept it where I can see it every day. It helps on those sucky days. :D

Okay, it's bad toadie/ good toadie time......

BAD TOADIE..... Hubby took me to dinner last night - a spur of the moment thing... We went to my favorite greek restaurant ( I am a sucker for greek food) in New York. After a ferry ride and a short drive we found our way to a parking space..... I THOUGHT I was being good - greek salad that I didn't eat all of as it was covered in a heavy oily dressing, a gryo "plate" that I had the waitress replace fries with mashed potatoes (couldn't have the rice as I am allergic to onions), and had a decaf tea instead of a soda.... Yeah, THOUGHT I was being good, until I saw that they DROWNED the potatoes in butter b/c I forgot to tell them no butter, and when i got half way through my meat I saw the oil puddle under it on my plate :( Did I stop eating the meat and skip the potatoes??? NO!!! I kept on eatin' till it was gone!!! I was soooo mad at me, HOWEVER I didn't obsess about it. I will just exercise more this weekend instead of take the weekend off.

GOOD TOADIE..... hehehe Hubby wanted to go down the road to the shopping plaza and hit afew stores there. We went into Sam's Club, shopped around for about an hour then went to check out. Yut, well, my new debit card didn't work b/c "bad pin" .... Well, i had to RUN out to the van that was parked at the very END of that huge parking lot - and RUN I did ( I hate holding things up). I realized two things as I RAN BACK - 1) I wasn't even winded when before I had all i could do to WALK that distance without practically needing my inhaler :D 2) I wanted to KEEP running!! It felt great!!
We walked back to the van and hubby wanted to go to wally-mart. "We're parked quite a ways away, do you want to walk or drive over?" hmmmm DUH!! We walked ( I challenged him to a run over but he couldn't do that and suck down his precious ciggy too  ). Walked around there for an hour before going to Staples... Now, that is the last store in the plaza and we are parked as far away as you can get in that huge parking lot.... Hehehhe...Hubby wanted me to go get the van and pick him up and I wasn't even tired yet!! LOL What a wussy!! I made him walk - told him it was to make up for his ciggy
I know none of that made up for dinner, but I sure felt better about it all. :D Okay, got to get hubby after work (more about yesterday later  )..... the saga continues... :p :D

Morning Cassie!!
LOL! Girl you have got some hilarous stories!! :) With you and Kate combined, I could be rolling all week long with laughter! :)

You are right on, don't sweat last nights dinner! You deserve a break once in awhile! :) LOL your body will realize your still feeding it! hehe. You have the best attitude, to just work out this weekend and not obsess over what you ate. Something I myself need to make a mental note of right now! :D

Congratulations on the running to the car!! That is so awesome!! :) You're doing great.. ) Can't wait to hear the rest of your saga!!! :D

hey cassie!

enjoyed out late night chat! looks like we are both suckers for the greek food! now we need to have ourselves a great weekend, run off those calories, and just have fun! glad you are bursting with energy, doesnt it feel great!?

Your dinner last night sounded wonderful!! Yum!! Don't sweat it. You need nights like that to stay sane! And having a nice dinner out with your hubby -- what a lovely thing to do.

Good job on the running! lol. Sorry that happened to you, but at least you got a few calories burned out of it.

Wally-mart huh? My youngest calls it StuffMart. She started calling it that when she was very little, and now that is just what the whole family calls it. lol. I just went there the other day to buy a big pack of sodas -- the ones that hold 24 cans. Took it out to the parking lot and was trying to lift the thing out of my cart and put it in the back of the car. Get this. The stupid carboard ripped and cans went rolling everywhere!! Quite a few rolled under other peoples cars andI am standing there like an idiot wondering how badly do I really want these sodas? Bad enough to get on my hands and knees and crawl under random cars in the Stuffmart parking lot? Decided to get the easy ones -- couldnt bring myself to get the others. lol. Have a great Saturday!! :)

I agree with the others. You always do so great with your food and calories. Don't worry about last night. We will keep an eye on you though to make sure you do good this weekend! :p ;)

And congralations on the running and not being out of breath! That's great!

Hi all, glad ya could drop in! :D NewLeaf, if you think the stories are hilarious you should try living my life!! LOL Seriously!! LOL More than half the time it makes ME laugh! hehehe I HAVE to sweat last nights dinner or I'll gain weight by monday. Sweatin' is the only way to burn those calories (I don't think running my "fingers" counts! LOL) :p :D

Kate, I love having energy. Actually some days I have so much I can't go to bed on time if I haven't done enough during the day! LOL It really sucks!!! hehehehehe AHHHH Greek food.... give me dolmas and a greek salad any day of the week and I will kiss your feet! LOL

Fluff, sanity is something I lost a LONG time ago... I think it started when i had twins and raised them for 4 years by myself... Hmmmm the line between sanity and INsanity is VERY blurred! LOL The boys call it wally-world... you watch now I'll be calling it wally-stuff !!!! LOL How many cans did you leave?! LOL I am so mean. I would have made the kids get it (provided there weren't people in the cars they would go under - I'm not THAT mean!! LOL)

I DID IT! I DID IT!! hehehehe I just spent 3 1/2 hours cleaning the boys bedroom!!! LOL I had to go to the dump! I had so much trash that I filled a 39 gallon barrel to the top!!!! Huh, and I only had another 1/2 barrel of household trash THAT TOOK A WEEK TO ACCUMULATE! Does that tell you how bad it was?!?!?!?!?! LOL I actually enjoyed it! hehehehehe I did my bodyball workout as a warm-up, cleaned so fast for the first 1 1/2 hours that I was breathing hard and sweating, and then (oh, man) I pulled the barrel up to the front stairs and jumped on it to pack it and finished filling it!! LOL Neighbors must have thought I was mentally incapable of thought if I was throwin' myself away!!! LOL When I got to the dump I had to haul this thing out of my SUV all by my little self - who knew packed toys could be soooo heavy!!! LOL My weight training for the day! LOL I came back home, had lunch and went back at it for another 2 hours! The only thing left to refresh/organize it the dresser :D :D

I am taking a quick breather and then (ready for this?) I am going on to the living room and (if I am still alive) the kitchen!!! LOL Man, I only have this much ambition when Aunt Flo comes to visit..... Hope that aint so! I hope she decided to skip town instead!! LOL

Okay, so far todays Toadie eats are...

light yogurt
toast
roast beef w/ miracle whip
skim milk

cajun rice
ground turkey with chiles, cabbage and two black olives
lettuce w/ light caesar dressing

be back later to finish the day :D

Hi HH, you must have posted the same time I was finger-flying, as hubby jokingly puts it  LOL PLLLLEEASE keep an eye on me! :D LOL I need all the help I can get, especially since I am trying to cut the calories by a couple hundred today and tomorrow!!!! :D Not running out of breath was an awesome realization. I told hubby but he kind of looked at me weird - this from someone who smokes like a stinky chimney!!! LOL Oh well, what does he know? hehehehehe

great work getting the boys room cleaned out, it might just motivate me to do some extra cleaning today, hmmmm perhaps tomorrow

Well Done :D

Hi Tru :D It really needed it - it was so bad I took before and after photos. I told the boys I might post them here - maybe it'll embarras them enough they'll keep it clean. Or maybe not

Well, I cleaned their bathroom, the porch, the hall that was so full you could barely walk through and I vacuumed them all (all carpet) with the darned floor attachment b/c the beater bars broke for the rug attachment  The hall tends to be a spill over area for the boys bedroom. I was hoping to make it to the livingroom and kitchen today, but I am exhausted!!! I think I'll save those for tomorrow.... can't do all the fun stuff in one day!

okay, nappy time. Be back later :D

Okay, nappy time didn't go so well, too many distractions (things I really wanted to do but didn't have anymore energy) and i just sat there mentally kicking myself. It might have been mentally, but it still hurt - my mental foot!!! (the mental tush has wayyy too much padding to hurt it! hehehehe) . I have decided, since hubby went up the road to his cousins, I am going to (ready, huh, huh?) TAKE A LONG UNDISTURBED BUBBLE BATH!!!! The last one I wanted didn't go so well, but this one is going to go off without a hitch. Candles and a bottle of water, my MP3 and a Carpathian ROmance. Ahhhh, no kids, no hubby, and the phone won't ring or I'll sink it in the bubbles!!!! LOL Then, hittin' the heated waterbed for snoozy time. If hubby comes home, he can have his favorite dinner - reheats or cereal. He knows how to hit the start button on the microwave at least. :D Ahhhh I can hear me snoring now - aint it grand!!??!!! :p :D

Okay Good Toadie time.....

rest of todays eats:

a 1 1/2" blueberry muffin

lowfat chicken alredo over fresh asparagus
skim milk
a chocolate no bake cookie w/ oats and nuts :p :D

total calories for today: 1086 :D

Exercise for today:
on the body ball - 50 push ups, 30 crunches, and 20 rear end/ hamstring stretches

mega-cleaning for 4 1/4 hours (exhausted but pleased)

Toadie trying to redeem self after yesterday! hehehehe

tomorrow the saga goes on.......:D

Hi Cassie!
Did you go for Greek food in NYC? Fun!! My hubby and I used to go to NYC once a year before we have kids. My sis lives there. I sure hope we can get back there one of these days!
Maybe you can send motivation vibes my way - I desperately need to organize my girls' toys!!!!! They both have bdays this month (well, Jan.17 and Feb. 9) and I have to clear some room for the new toys!!!
Keep up the good work!

Mornin' y'all! Well, another day has begun -wet and pouring rain, but it has begun. I beat the sun up today  Well, what little sun we'd see today.

Mommyof2, we went to Plattsburgh, NY. It is only a 15 minute ferry ride away. We used to go over there a lot but the ferry is just too darned expensive now to do it often. I'll give ya all the motivation vibes you need :D Although, if truth be told, it was more desperation than motivation. I just got sick of looking at that room and bumping through the hall way. I pulled out a 39 gallon trash barrell and another 13 gallon garbage bag (and that was the nice me) along with 4 loads of laundry!!!!! I think I pulled a shoulder muscle heaving those trash barrells  Who knew toys could be so HEAVY!?!?!?!?!

Beagle, if I kept THAT up every day, I will be woman enough to admit, I would kill someone!!!! LOL I went through every LEGO in that toy box b/c there are some things I know they would be heartbroken without. I really wanted to do it "my" way - tip the box into the trash barrell and never mind sorting it!!!! LOL See. I'm evil, but I'm a good evil :p :D hehehehe Can't wait till they see what their room looks like now :D The only things I didn't touch were the beds and the dresser. I left a pile of sorted things on the floor and left a note :

You sort these or I toss them. Have a nice day : )

Now, if I can muster up some git-up- 'n- go I have the rest of the house to do..... not sure if that will happen today. Oh well, If I get lost in here maybe they'll clean it to find me..... On second thought, they would just sit on stuff and hope they didn't sit on me or they know i'd pummel 'em. :D

Gotta run and see hubby off to work... be back soon ( I just can't stay away!)

Wow Cassie, hubby workin on Sundays? yuck! :) I don't envy him!!

You are really rockin on cleaning the house. Can I borrow some of your energy so I can clean mine? Unless you'd like to come do ours too!! haha, I got Paula cleanin my toliets for me. lol!! :D Its just crazy here... at least I donm't have kids yet, to clean up after, but two dogs is kids enough for me most of the time!!! I have more "doggie toys" layin aroudn our living room than I can stand to admit! alas.. :)

Hope you have a great day!!! Dont' wear yourself out too much!

Dont you wish you could just back up a big dump truck into a kid's room for swift cleaning? Ive fantasized the beep beep beep of a big ol yellow truck, and my kids having tears in their eyes and waving goodbye to their very outgrown toys....ah well, I can dream!

mY husband's working too..on his golf swing. Amazingly yesterday he was tired and feeling too sick to help me with something I needed done, but has made a miraculous recovery at five am this morning! Its truly a a.. MIRACLE I tell ya!

hi NewLeaf :D Hubby went in only for a few hours today to pick up equipment so we can pull out of this job. The client is a real b(&ch!! The job wasn't well coordinated BEFORE we got there and hubby was getting things done in an organized fashion ( no jumpin' around room to room). She can't handle it. She doesn't want to pay what we are owed and had a problem with him having me work there two days. What she doesn't understand is that by me being there, she paid $10/hr LESS than if he had done the same work. Long story short, he made sure all of our equipment was put in the van so he doesn't have to go and get it tomorrow. Man she really makes me mad  She didn't like the fact that he didn't stay last night to complete ONE door or that he went in this morning only to do what he did. HE DOESN'T LIVE THERE!!! If she wants him to, she'll have to pay him to, and she doesn't want to  Oh, well, I refuse to let her be the ruin of my day. I only have a few hours before the kids come home and I want to spend SOME of it with hubby w/o work interferring! :D If Paula does the toilets I'll do the rest :D Since you don't have kids. If you had kids I would have to ignore their room. I was traumatized yesterday after that 3 1/2 hours in my boys bedroom! I still can't believe how bad it was! LOL I'll even wash the pet bowls and brush after bathing them :D Would you like bows at the ears or on the tails? Now pink, blue, or green ribbons? Okay, now if they need walking, leave me a leash. hehehehe

Good news/ bad news time..... GOOD NEWS yesterday I got tons accomplished. This morning, I got the livingroom done and got a quick 20 minute bodyball workout in. BAD NEWS I was right, yesterday. I started this morning  (I think thats half of my anger as I am not normally the angry sort). I know I won't like what the scale has to say tomorrow. I know its a gain - I always do with that TOM. Its just a question of how much. :( Mega bummer. That does tend to put a slight damper on things..... Oh well. Work like a dog today and MAYBE I'll maintain last weeks loss.

Kate, we posted together again :D ROFL!!!! I like the dump truck idea!!! hehehehe Wow, hubby made a quick recovery! That should go in the guiness book of world records....... for the lamest excuse not to help!!! LOL Men! Kate, its that special appendage, as you put it :D I Told hubby he and that appendage were gonna go hand to appendage combat if he kept nagging about my food/ exercise choices  hehehehe Stopped the "help" :D

Will be back soon .....:D

Hey Cassie, funny you should mention bathing my dogs!! :) I just took them to teh dog park and on a trail hike and tehy were filfthy!! So they both got baths, which they hate. :D Oh well at least they are clean and my house is't mud filled!! YAY!

As for TOM, well don't we all hate that? at least you can think of it retainin water, not actually adding on the pounds!!!
