Brag on

This may sound a little strange, but it made me happy......

Last night after I took a shower, I was able to wrap the towel completely around my body..... It was AWESOME!!!!

I love that brag - well done :)

He stopped off at McD's, then got some pizza, then had some cake and ice-cream for dessert, then he thought "I may as well have a slab of beer."

Damn, I want to be the hare now! :D

I'm bragging here about a friend on this forum. Up until two days ago, I was constanly hungry and I didn't feel engerized. It's as though my body was getting use to my routine and retaliating against it.

I talked to Trever10, about the ways I could revamp my food plan and trick my body. Needless to say, with his suggestions, I'm now no longer constantly hungry. Trev told me the best thing I could do was eat carbs before any major workout and it's worked impressively. I also eat every nintey minutes, just 50-90 calorie snacks and it's amazing how great I feel.

So thanks Trever10, this was me bragging on you, hon.

haha, I nearly jumped for joy[and out of the towel] when I realized I could do this with a normal sized towel. My hips are a lot bigger so doing it was like..YAY

My brag for today is that I have no interest or desire to drink soda. Even before I was kind of craving it when i didnt have it for days, but this time I am positive i dont need it, and when i drink it it tastes terrible. yay!

I'm bragging here about keeping on track for 50 days and not feeling tired about it yet! I've lost 5kgs and that's the most I've ever lost in my life :D I used to give up after 2 or 3 kgs...

Reading everyone elses makes me smile, so here's mine:

My impossibly tight, not making it past the thigh-flab jeans are now wearable without the risk of splitting the seams!

Your not going to believe this .. I went back and read the beginning of the extension to my second journal and I made the goal to be by May 275 ..right now I weigh 276.6 pounds!
I did not expect this!! I didnt even think I would make the goal, wierdness!

going to brag on about my past week...achieved straight A's for the first time ever, ate more sensibly then I ever have, and walked at least 8 miles total

I have a few things to brag about. First as of today I have lost 60 lbs. Second, my mom gave me a pair of her jeans a few months ago and I tried them on the other day and they fit, they are a size 5 (although I think they are made big cause my other jeans which are a size 9 still fit, but are just a tad loose).

I'm going to brag on myself. I've only been doing this for two weeks now, but I can tell that this time is different. I've lost 12 lbs, which I'm happy about, but I've also lost 4 inches from my belly. I readily admit that this forum, and reading everyone's stories, helps me make the right decisions throughout the day. Thanks

I've actuallu lost 10KG over the summer and now i way 67.7KG.
I think that, that's enough for me.

I tried many methods the most helpful was form a last chance - an e-book. I couldn't belive it, that the diet in the e-book worked.

hah i was wondering who that was too until i clicked the link. Darn it.

I think you deserve some bragging as well, you pretty much run the forums with an iron fist stabbing any spammer who dares lay foot on the forums. You inspire and advise newcommers and somehow manage to keep up with everyone and whats going on.
Even when going through personal crises you are still pimping everyone else out other than yourself, when in fact you have acoumplished far more.

Props go out to Mal i think!

Ok, I'm probably going to make these guys upset but I feel that this is totally warranted.

There are three guys here whose hard work and dedication are just a complete and total inspiration for me. They drive me every single day to keep at this thing and not give up, ever. You three own part of my success, I couldn't keep at this as consistently without your friendship and support. Thanks Matthew, Brian and Keith :) You three are just amazing to me.

Hey, stop gagging :D
haha.

Not sure if I'm bragging or complaining but my new summer clothes are too freakin' baggy. After losing 72 pounds in 5 months at 5.5 months I leveled off and have been holding steady at my current weight. That was about a month and half ago. With the mornings being a little brisk here I decided make due with my baggy cinched up jeans until the weather warmed a bit and I could break out my new spring\summer gear. Which I bought a few weeks back thinking I was done losing. Well silly me hasn't bothered to measure and my scale hasn't moved in a month or more. Turns out all the cool 36W shorts I bought are a little loose, I swore all were a bit snug a month ago. So yay me for losing inches, bad news is I may need more clothes. Oh well even though my shorts are baggy my new shirts are tighter in the right places so for the most part I'm happy. Though I am a bit surprised since I cut back on resistance training, evidentally the unspent calories ended up in the right places.

reissue, your doing a good job, and i'm sure your only complaining about spending $$ on smaller clothes :).

when i joined the forums here a year ago, i was 255 lbs. Currently I stand at 207 lbs, and joined golds gym about 2 weeks ago. I do 30 minutes on the elliptical machine and 15 minutes strength training on the circuit. I've also set a goal of about 1500ish calories a day which has been going fairly well now. I've had lots of compliments from my family about my weight loss, and it feels great!

My goal now is to be 180 by my 21st birthday in december
