Thats because more people here are focused on weight training and muscle development, unlike the WL forum.

My Diet: Not much improvement, (not to make this sound like an excuse) mainly because I always seem to wake up with a sore throat and am really tired throughout the day(No this is not an everyday thing, it was just this week...). This ties in with diet because when I am sick/feeling sick, I never feel like eating clean, because it would taste like mush.(I'm still not acquainted with nor craving healthy foods yet...) When I say I do not enjoy eating "healthy" foods, I'm basically eating the typical cereal in the morning, a small bag of chips for lunch, and whatever is made for dinner at my house. I'm feeling good today, and I ate pretty healthy, so I'm getting back on track, as I should.
My Exercise: Same issue, when sick/feeling tired, never feel like doing anything. I'm starting to sound like too much of a whiner :(
I just want to recap with the fact that I am no longer going to slack, which means sick or not, I will still stick to my diet/exercise. I am actually getting tired of sitting, being lazy, and not eating right on top of it. I gotta look good for the beach ;) Its full throttle now :)

Well it does sound like your making excuses. Hope you wisen up and actually start trying now though.

Yeah, well the point of this contest is 'Body Transformation' not necessarily weight loss. I think since the majority of the people are trying to lose weight, we would be most interested in someone who is looking for a different type of goal.

I myself have entered, and I have absolutely no need to lose weight:p

Also, it is based on attitude - so trying to kick all the WL Forum people's asses is not necessarily the best thing to be saying.....lol.

You boys have way too much testosterone I think.....hehe. Anyways, I'd be interested to see some 'other' goals coming from this forum in the contest.

Good luck!

Hey, I'm motivating/challenging others to bring their best. If they want to challenge, talk smak etc, JUST BRING IT!!! It's my own little special attitude. WE ROCK HERE!!!!

I don't know what you're talking about re: excess testosterone, there, nikegirl. You are crazy.

Also, I will grind your bones for low-carb soup Gregovich!

:D

Start your grinding FOCUS. I'm down 4-6 pounds from where I was on Tuesday (a lot of water weight from Superbowl wkend). Can you even imagine where I'll be in another 11 days? AWESOME!!!! This is fun!! Heck, if I don't slow down, I might just evaporate. Anyway, off to workout and ride the bike. Cya's later, Greg

Keep it strong folks. 77 more days to go but only 7 more until out next weigh in/measurement day. I expect to see big results from all of us.

Aiming, I'm watchin ya brother. I think since you are using bodyweight only types of exercise that you should do some sort of circuit training so that you get some cardio benefits while you are exercising. Someone with more knowledge than me, help the brother out.

I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesdays messages. Take care and be strong, Greg

What is this ruffling the members of WLF!!!! hahaha You boys are brave digging in over there! I think those ladies would take you down in one shot - they even scare me sometimes!!!!!!! LOL

LOL, I prodded and poked a bit but didn't get much of a response. I figure if I'm in cahoots with FOCUS that we should be able to get them a bit riled up. I'll have to think of something really good to get them going.

Oh, I hope they are doing great cuz we are!!!! Take care Nikegirl. We all benefit from this so we'll see if we can make it fun for all. Cya, Greg

I'm beginning to feel the goodness of keto. Noticeably leaner and full of energy at 0 carbs. And so free to just eat what I like. If I can manage to maintain my strength gains (won't know until Sunday), there'll be no stopping me. :SaiyanSmilie_anim:

Also, those ladies are dropping mad pounds. I'm over there all, "Hey guise I gained 4 lbs since last week." And every one of them lost 5. This is disturbing news. :p

Did anyone on this side update? Guess I'd better go back a few pages and check.

I didn't update this week. I figured I'd wait until Tuesday. I expect to be down between 7-10 pounds. We'll see. Keep up the good work. Cya, Greg

So its time I updated :) I am doing good, I could be doing better, but its better than doing nothing. My diet's cleaner, more exercise in my routine, and I am focused. Weight loss forum watch out, we own this contest :)

That's what I'm talkin' about Aiming. Keep bringing it and we're unstoppable. I expect I'll be down anywhere from 8-10 pounds. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe not 8-10 after the weekend, my fault, but still down 4. Here's how it came out, total losses are from the beginning of the contest:

Weight 228 down 9 pounds total
Chest 47 down 1 inch
Waist 38 down 1 1/2
stomach 40.5 down 1 1/2
legs 26-26.5 down 1
arms 16 1/4 down 1/4

Thoughts: This things going well! Weekends aren't near as bad as they used to be. If I would have stayed away from the Coors light on Sunday I'd be down a bit more. I was 225 last Thursday so I really think some of the weight is water but things are as they are. No excuses. I've got to get super serious these next 2 weeks. To stay on track I really need to be right around 220 by the end of the month. I'm looking forward to hearing about everyones success. Post and let us know how you're doing. Take care, Greg
