Well maybe a couple of days before you are back below 300, but it will happen, and soon the way you are eating. Today looks almost like too little food, only 3 meals that look pretty small. I also have stopped eating tortillas with Mexican food, but I have to say I miss them, I particularly enjoy a good freshly made corn tortilla.

Three hundred on the knocker! Which sure as eggs means that you'll be back under 300 next weigh - it's such a great feeling to pass those milestones, isn't it? Cheering you on! :hurray:

Hi, Bob. I'm another Rob here on the forum. Welcome and great job so far on the 11.2 pounds and crossing the 300 mark. That must feel better. I was 330 at my heaviest and crossing some of those thresholds felt good. I like the quotes and one post about a week ago about it being a marathon not a sprint. Walking was tremendously helpful to me not only for the calories burned but all the other benefits like better sleep, reduced appetite, and it promotied discipline and consistency.

Believe you can and you are halfway there.

Well week 2 is in the bag and after stepping on the scale this morning I came in at 294.6 lbs. That is a 6.6 pound drop for the week making it a total loss of 14 lbs. So far so good no cravings for sweets, sodas, or breads yet. Also did good this week on out to eat choices when we took the kids on a road trip yesterday. So no hiccups as of yet. Going to try to add some more gym days in the mix walking more. I would like to get it up to 4 miles in an hour. Also going to start a new challenge for myself that would be working my way up to doing a hundred pushups a day for 30 days. We will see I haven't done push ups since many moons ago way back in my army days.

The strongest factor for success is self-esteem: Believing you can do it, believing you deserve it, and believing you'll get it.
