lemon pie n whipping cream
with family
hash brown
sausage n egg on bagel
with family

12 cups water
15 mins. bike
 
I agree that raw veggies can be good but beans should generally be cooked for digestion. Today´s food sounds pretty good!
 
food for the last few days
hasnt been good
nor the exercise
ive been making
the liquid goal i think

lost the food support group support
it also kept me at least that much time
away from the food

my reaction was stupid but im responsible anyway
i knew i was going to binge so threw out every drop
of food even my spices
and then today traded a new baby gate
i just had laying around
for 1200 grams of potato chips
yep 6 bags

just have to get back on my feet again
i guess
 
well im back
and may be on my feet again
i finally came up with a plan

1 is never bring any food in the house again
unless its veggies which arent tempting
and a few orange juices in case of a hypo from insulin use
2 is go to the new binge eating group for the 20 weeks
that starts soon at the hospital
3 everytime i do eat do 10 minutes on my bike
as a deterent to make me think
do i really want this food
4 eat out once a day or bring only 1 meal home a day
i cant think of anything else right now

so some of this i have began already
and man its hard
but it may be working
the bike part especially
but im sore my legs are sore

todays food--

2 breakfast sandwiches from mcds
10 minutes 2 separate times on my bike
once for each sandwich
nearly half my 12 cups of water
likely going to eat more later and do more bike

i know 10 mins isnt going to burn off each meal or snack
so thanks goodness thats not my goal
or id be in trouble
but theres always the option to make that longer
when i get used to it
and for now no food amount goals
as this is challenging enough
well we shall see what happens
 
That's great to hear that a new support group is starting soon! Well done calling to ask if maybe someone could give you a ride, too. I'm glad you're not trying to burn off every meal you eat; that would be worrying. I hope your new plan helps :grouphug:
 
todays food--

food with family beef stir fry
4 eggs with 4 cheese slices that i made
2 sandwiches store made


exercise--
10 mins. bike 2x
10-15 minute walk

10 cups water

i may do 10 mins bike before bed
so that i did 10 minutes for each sandwich

so far so good
legs getting better
back a little sore but just might be from the steep walking path

peanut butter

exercise--
3 ten minutes times on bike

11 cups water

i think its time to do some calorie control somehow
not sure if i want to go with the 6 cup plan
or 3 eating sessions of 500 calories each
the cup plan requires no figuring
but i find it hard to measure all foods
maybe some days do one
other days do the other
they are almost the same calorically
 
Sounds like you are getting back on your feet, good for you.

What's the "cup plan"?

its a plan where you count cups
instead of calories
and the cups of food are approx. 270 calories each
so that choosing cups of varied calories it hopefully
balances out because of course not all cup of all foods
are 270 calories
and there's a few lists of foods
put in categories like carbs fats and so on
and some foods that would equal a cup
and its based on your goal weight and so many
calories per pound like 12 or 13
that's about the the gist of it anyway

its hard for me because sometimes you have to
imagine and visulalize some of the foods they dont
list if they would equal 1 cup or not if they wont
fit in it easily like liquids do
or fruits and veggies do
etc. etc.

salad and leftover family roast beef

3- 10 minute bike sessions

now for a puzzle kind of--
i had 3 cups of strawberry soy milk to help
my liquid goal along
should i be doing my bike for each of those?
because i wasnt doing it for foods necessarily
it was for a deterant to make me think
do i really want this food
there are 140 calories in each cup
that seems like alot - like food would be
i havent added calorie control yet to
my plan until i shop next
do i let them go or am i kidding myself?

and
i still have not figured out how to shop for
3 -500 calorie eating sessions when i cant keep food around but veggies
and the soy milk seems not tempting
the only reason im doing ok now is that i buy some
stuff out or buy small bits from family or eat with them

on to tomorrow now i guess
 
For tempting things I know it's easier for me when I don't have a lot of them. Seems like small amounts are less attractive or something.

got on scales yesterday
baaaaaaad bad bad idea
gained 12 pounds
ive decided to not buy food
i just cant fight the meds. gain
the insulin just packs on the weight
and its not working that well anyway for me

i will try to post any food i eat still
and exercise
i get leftovers i wont starve
just not everyday
 
dear diary
i dont want to say how terrible im doing
weight wise and with the food and exercise
so just a question for today

how are people finding out their maintenance calories?
the online formulas are very high for me im sure
