Ok little session last night.

Legs/Abs

Squats
1x12 (132lbs)
1x10 (220lbs)
1x3 (286lbs)
1x10 (220lbs)

The 220lbs is getting so much easier, i've got a couple of new mates starting out and was getting them to squat properly. Getting them at least paralell. Im sick of seeing people not even going paralell. Im probably one of the only one's at my gym that i would say squat properly (ego coming out here) :D but im serious!

I should of gone for 5x286, i'd of done it i reckon as well.

Leg Press
1x12 (352lbs)
1x6 (528lbs)
1x20 (264lbs)

Finished with some Leg curls, Calf Raises, some ab work, and 10 minutes light cardio.
 
Whilst im bored at work im gonna set a target tonight for my pressing session. Well about 2 months ago i could get like 5 reps with 88lb DB's, now for some weird reason i'm on about 3-4 reps. I think it was because i had a 6 week break from flat DB Pressing.

So today is my last day at flat DB Pressing before i go back to the BB flat press for 6 weeks. If i get any less than 5 reps im not going to be happy!

Nah, I fully believe that you never see anyone squat parallel or below.
If you had an ego you'd be joining them in their half reps and adding 100lbs to your numbers, it takes a lack of ego to do it properly.

Yeah, I think all gyms are the same, at least mine is. There are only one or two people I have ever seen doing real squats. Most don't do them at all, and the ones that do just do less-than-quarter squats. It's almost funny to see some doing them...
 
Yesterday was ok for the first set LOL, then for some reasons both my forearms were in agony! I still went on regardless, but i'd never felt anything like it before. It's weird.

I went and lifted/ran today at lunch because we are having a party thing at work tonight. No drinkin or eatin for me, so it won't affect me negatively...

Damn my facepulling has gotten ****ty...the 110 set was hard...I had been doing those pretty well at the end of my bulk. To sum up, cutting sucks cow ****.

Then I ran for 20 minutes, pretty fast pace, got in 2.66 miles.
 
Nice work. Good volume with the DL's and good lifts. Do you think you'l ever go for a max with DL's? Im interested :D

Yea i suppose cutting doesn't allow you to have the energy and strength compared to bulking. Bet you cant wait to bulk! What are you going to cut to?

Thanks man, I was pleased. I could go for a max DL anytime, just haven't lately. Maybe I will soon just to see how I stack up to you. You pulled over 400 or close to it recently, didn't you?

I can't wait for sure! But even then, bulking has it's downsides, I get fat so quickly, no matter how careful I am! Oh well. But anyways, I think I'll go to 200, maybe as low as 190...jeez, this **** takes forever. Being 6'4'', I have to lose/gain a lot of weight to notice a difference...I've lost 15 so far and I can't really tell. I have a feeling I'll get to 200 and still won't be happy. Being lean is definitely much more fun, but being weaker is not!

Not quite, got a 396, also i failed a 396 the other day due to no grip. When i did get the 396 i used some sponges. I tried it this time with my hands and i just couldn't grip. My body strength is there to pull over 400 but my grip isn't but for some reason the sponges give me good grip, so ill be heavy DLin using them for now.

Anyway i've been slack posting workouts. Yesterday didn't eat much due to some bad indegestion i had, i ended up being sick before the gym so i didn't have much energy.

Suppose it was an ok workout. In the next couple of weeks, were getting together a totally new routine. I aim to cut negatives to a minimum, we dont need to do all the negatives we do, if any really. We train to failure on nearly every set and i dont think we should be.

I failed my second rep at 308, i do squat deep though, much deeper than my mates. Plus im fairly tall. I was hoping to get a few reps with 308. Althrough i wasn't all there this session theres no excuses.

Wish I could squat like you. Yeah our journal has been slower. For me, cutting just isn't very exciting, I'm much more pumped when my lifts are going up and stuff. You are right though, the forum in general is boring lately...hardly anything new to read and I rarely post to questions in Nutrition, Weight Loss, or Weight Training rooms anymore.

Nice work there. 176 for 10 reps is pretty stellar if you ask me, then 4 at about 200 pounds...well played man. I think I could only get up 1 or 2 at 200 lbs, and maybe not even that now that I've lost a bit of strength.

Yea ATG squats are so much harder. My mates piss me off because they think theyre bad for your knee's and sh1t when in reality their probably better.

Yeah I have been losing nicely lately. It's gonna be rough in 2 weeks though, going to Florida with my brother...lots of booze. Although won't really eat that much or that bad, and will still be very active.

Yeah, they are definitely much harder! I actually thought they were easy on my knees...lots of people have misconceptions, what can ya do?
