Twinny, you're doing amazing! Good thinking padding our beginning with your preTOM bloat ;)

I haven't been all that great on the nutrition front today, I've had 1/2 an apple and a yogurt for a whopping 95 calories, but after last night's meal, well, my stomach needs to still digest!

And I have to say, I survived a night out to dinner and a show (and well, too much dinner) without getting whacked by the Twinny Stick - life is good ;)
 
I can't whack my buddy - I'll just taunt you with my new ticker and make you want to work that much harder! :D

Yep - sticking to the plan today. I had a great Kickboxing class today.

Hello Belly Bustin Ladies,

I had to cheat and check my scale and I lost 2 lbs hehe so I got to move my tickers! I am so excited. I just finished doing a heap of laundry, folding washing and putting away and I worked up a good sweat (plus its supper hot in my house...no A/C).


I still have to go for my evening walk. I need to get one of those step counters :)

Aw, Twin Mom, I LOVE being called "Skinny"!! I sure don't feel it yet, but it is nice! My mother is still so quick to point out all my "problem areas'. Isn't that nice??? She can't believe I "only" want to lose 12 more lbs. Grr!

Anyhow, thanks for the whack and the skinny comment - lol!

Everyone sounds like they're doing great! I actually stuck to 1500 calories yesterday....my first day of counting calories AND I added an extra kilometre to my cardio workout. I'm stretching my arm to pat myself on the back as I type with the other hand:)

Mommyof2 - I can identify with those little remarks from family. My favourite backhanded compliment is " You know, you would look really lovely if you lost some weight" to which I now reply "Well actually I think I look lovely now!":D

Lets keep those bellies busting!

Mo2 - Isn't it funny how Twinny can hand out a whack and a compliment in the same breath? ;)

I had a really good day yesterday. I've managed to keep the snacking fairy away and I took one walk yesterday.

Generally you want to stick to the exterior of the grocery store, meats, dairy, produce... but there are some good things in the inner aisles for you...

Read labels of things you buy... check calorie counts, check fat counts (especially trans fats and saturated fats), make sure that High Fructose Corn Syrup isn't in the ingredient list...

The spice aisle is your friend.. that will give you increased flavor without adding calories...

Was wondering what everyone thinks of doing a mid-challenge weigh in on Monday morning? Or do you want to just wait until the end of the challenge to weigh in? Let me know what you think! :D
 
I'm weighing in tomorrow morning, but I would not mind a weigh in on monday.
