Alright, Day One of my Strictness Week seems to be going well! I had a big three-egg omelette for breakfast with bacon, cheese, and green onions - so delicious and sooo filling! I don't think I'll be hungry until dinner time now!

In about twenty minutes, I'm off to the gym for a full hour of cardio, and about ten minutes of stretching/toning too!

Not sure what's for dinner tonight but hopefully I can get whoever's cooking tonight to throw in tons of veggies :)

Thanks for checking in on me girls, I think I'm going to need the extra support this week!

3 egg omelette w/bacon and cheese: 525 cals/2.5 carb
Raisin and nut granola bar: 150 cals/15 carbs
4 small chicken strips: 300 cals/10 carbs
~1.5 cups boiled corn: 225 cals/50 carbs
Total: 1200 calories, 77.5 carbs

Exercise:
25 minutes walking/errand running - 125 calories
20 minutes ab workout - 120 calories

I'm gonna be pretty busy today, might not find the time to check in later! Josh and I are going out to look at different hotels and such to host the wedding reception, and also the place that I want to host the ceremony at! Check out my "non-diet journal" in my signature for the long version :D

It was a lot of fun yesterday :) We went and looked at like five different places, and currently have it narrowed down to 2 reception sites that we're going to go back to look at again tomorrow. Never did get a chance to stop by the ceremony site we wanted, so we'll do that tomorrow too.

Wow Beagle, you rocked on the exercise today! I'm impressed. Makes me want to get off my rear and hit the gym. I've been saying I'll go for the last hour. I just noticed our tickers are very similar, well, we are at the same weight and have the same goal of 170. I'll race you there! hehe JK

I think I need to explain today - I don't think today was a success because of all the carbs I had. I can make excuses about why I had so many carbs, but at any step I could have said no, and I didn't :(

I had set today aside for visiting my best friend who just got her own place, and we were going to celebrate by baking in her new kitchen. I had planned on just taking the muffins home for my family, but I ended up having one there, and another after dinner!

As for the spaghetti, that one would have been harder to say no to, because my mom's been trying to quit smoking, so she's a little on-edge, and I didn't want to tell her I wouldn't eat what she made for dinner and start a fight over something so dumb. I could have just taken some and not eatten in since I was eating in my room (we had guests over that I don't like being around) and then made some veggies later, but again, I didn't. I was pretty hungry anyways.

By the way, if anyone is interested, I made another blog for myself (this totals three now... uh oh, I might just be returning to my old internet addiction!!) to keep track of wedding stuff: .
 
Mornin' Bailey :D I wouldn't sweat the carbs for yesterday :D You can just do better today! :D It won't make yesterday have not happened, but it would lessen the impact. I think I would have done the same thing.

I hear you on the carbs. I had 3 lean cuisines today, which ended up being 109 carbs! Yikes. Oh well, my brain needed some carbs today. We can do better tomorrow.

Your workout the other day was fantastic- I hate the treadmill, feel like I'm getting nothing accomplished, and you guys all make it look so easy, lol...
