Beagle's New Journal

Cute fish beagle I can never have fish they always die under my watchful eye...LOL. Well sweetie just had to pop in and check on you. Looking good as usual by the way. I see your tomato soup is in your menu again you are too cute Bailey.

Congrats on the fishy! Cute!

Today is multiple exam day... Deviance and Conformity at 9am, with some definitions and and essay question, and then Childhood Development at 2pm with 100 multiple choice questions. I felt like I had studied enough last night, but this morning I'm not so sure!

First exam down... actually went okay. One of the essay questions was totally easy-pie, though my hand aches from writing nearly 10 pages in two hours.

Now I have three hours to kill before the next exam... what in the world am I going to do? I suppose I could study more, but that's boring!

Monday Food:
mandarin orange - 70
small meat-lovers sub (with pizza sauce, mayo, and a couple veggies) - 600
mini bag of lite popcorn - 120
cup of instant noodles - 250
mandarin orange - 70
3 christmas cookies - 355
Total - 1485

I need to beat my sister up for making christmas cookies! They are so delicious and also they look so good too! They're just sitting there on the counter... calling to me.... *drool*

Ok first Sorry Beagle I disappeared from chat yesterday. Duty actually called at work.. imagine that, something to do of importance! ha ha!

Secondly.. whatever you do, DON'T touch those cookies!! back away from the counter!! :) You can do it! I know you can!! Now if somebody would only do that to me when I'm in my own kitchen!! :D Actually I'd need to be tied down to the chair. haha!

DONE ALL EXAMS! Well, at least for this semester ;) Now I have about three weeks to relax (except for when I have to go to work).

Tuesday Food:
1.5 homemade egg mcmuffins - 400
mandarin orange - 70
cookie (gah!) - 125

:D :D :D :D :D Congratulations! And may you enjoy your well deserved rest!!! You can have 1 cookie since you did so well. But only 1!!!!!

Why is everyone talking about cookies. I swear every journal I pop into I get hungry for cookies...LOL. Anyway Sweetie hope you have a great day today.

Thanks for the well-wishes girls, sorry I haven't been on so much lately. Its not that I've been "busy" per se, but that I rediscovered Baldur's Gate II and I've been playing it almost non-stop :p I forgot to mention my weigh in this week; I am back up to 193, I gained a pound :(

I'm really disappointed with myself this week for my lack of weight loss, and will have to try even harder next week. Thankfully all the cookies are gone, so hopefully I won't have anything to tempt me until christmas dinner.

Also, I went to go see Chronicles of Narnia last night... I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone whether or not you've read any books. I hadn't read Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe for about ten years, and still loved it.

My sister is taking my daughter to see it tonight. If she likes it I'm thinking about getting her the book. I remember reading it when I was her age and it was one of the best books I've read ever since. Don't worry about the weight loss. You maintained, and that's an accomplishment at this time of year. I don't have any idea how I managed to lose any at all. I have the feeling the stress around here had alot to do with it. I'm not sure that's a good thing!!!

Well I've been extra careful lately, and am staying away from anything sweet, with the exception of mandarin oranges which are only 70 cals each.

Thursday Food:
handfull of veggie crackers - 150
ham and cheese sandwich - 400
bowl of creamy chicken soup - 300
chicken breast - 200
small caesar salad - 100
total - 1250

I may have a mini bag of lite popcorn when I get home from work if I'm hungry. ONLY if I'm hungry!

That sounds great! I got some mandarins to put in everybody's stockings this year. Also found really good sugar free candies! Since the whole house is losing weight, I figured Santa could help us out too!

Played video games all day again today. Last night I got my biking done (I get it done a fair bit but always forget to mention it!)

Friday Food:
bowl of cereal - 200
carrots and light ranch dip - 150
mandarin oranges - 210
bowl of mac'n'cheese - 400
couple of weiners with ketchup - 250
bag of lite popcorn - 120
Total - 1330

Also up to about 90oz... hit my goal!

BG II was a good game and very addictive, I have been re visiting neverwinter nights so i can beat up the kids in multiplayer :D , hubby and I will be taking the kids to see Chronicles of Narnia on boxing day.

your food looks good but it can be hard to resist snacks when playing games.

Actually I find its just the opposite for me. I tend to get engrossed in whatever game I'm playing, and I only notice I'm hungry when noises start coming out of me.

Lately, its not been as bad because I've started drinking water constantly while I play, and then when I have to go to the bathroom I notice I could do with some food.

Not going to post calories, but here's my food for yesterday and today
Saturday:
handful of veggie crackers
bacon cheeseburger with mayo and onions
two overstuffed homemade burritos (meat and cheese only)
small bowl of caramilk ice cream

Sunday:
three small pancakes topped with mixed fruit, light ice cream and whipped cream
couple of chocolates
future: work is serving lasagna for lunch for the foks working christmas (all dozen of us)
future: going to aunt's for dinner, likely a lot of meat and general christmas trappings.

I'm annoyed I had to get up for work at 5am today, but at least the rest of my family got up with me to open presents before I had to go. Swag includes Season 5 of CSI, Season 2 of CSI: Miami, pair of earrings, a World of Warcraft guidebook, and some cute pj's. so far at work I've taken TWO calls in the two hours I've been here. One that dropped off the line, and another whom I had to tell he couldn't call his daughter because he hasn't payed his bill since August.

Going out to my aunt's for christmas and I really, really don't want to. My family is so big and just about everyone gets together for all the major holidays, and its kind of overwhelming. I'd prefer if my family would just stay home together, or failing that, that they'd let me go over to FH's house to chill with his family. There are going to be, at a minimum, 20 people at my aunt's house, probably half of which will be under 10. I can't hang out with the adults because they all have radically conservative viewpoints where mine are only mildly conservative (bordering on liberal but not quite), so I can't hold a conversation about any meaningful topics without butting heads or offending someone. I can't hang out with the kids either because in such large groups, they just become a faceless blob of annoyances and irritations.

Merry Christmas, everyone. Hope yours is a bit more enjoyable than mine is shaping up to be.

Merry Christmas
