Hey hun! Your food looks good today! I even had roast for dinner!! ... I have a ? for you regarding the shot!... I've never had the shot but have taken the pills and gained tons of weight.. Is weight gain a side effect of the shot? But anyway... Dont forget your shot tomorrow!!

Weight gain is a possible side effect, yes. I didn't gain weight until about six months AFTER I started, so I don't think it was because of the shots. Another possible side effect is a reduction in sexual drive and mood changes... its definitely not for everyone, but I managed to dodge all the possible side effects. The "side effect" I love best is that I don't have to worry about that monthly "mess" anymore ;) It just... stops. Downside is that it can take up to a year after I stop taking it for full fertility to return. I'm not too worried about it though.

Thanks for the info.. Bailey.. I still dont know what to do... humm.. I guess I will sleep on it.. yes.. I might know in the morning! lol..

Good morning Sweetheart just wanted to come say Hi and tell you to have a great day sorry I havent been on much but you have been in my thoughts.

I used to get the shot... would you believe that after a year I was missing my period! I wanted to get it! Weird huh? LOL
I hope we're talking about the same thing~

LOL APirl! A sneeze! I was so unsure about that story but it looked cool as hell!

Wow, no period for a year? geez, that is amazing. Birth control makes me moody, how does the shot do with that? Any mood swings at all? I would imagine the hormone levels are not going all to hell because you don't have to stop taking it monthly to get a period. Interesting.

I was terribly moody before I started taking any birth control, and they all seem to even me out (funnily enough, taking medicines like midol make it even worse!). As for the year without a period, personally, I enjoy it. I've always had really irregular ones anyways, even with the pills, and that was unbelievably stressing on its own, never knowing when to expect the next one. So none at all just means nothing to worry about. Only thing I gotta worry about is counting out 12 weeks at a time to go get my next one.

Well it turns out I have to go get the shot tomorrow instead, since the pharmacy decided to go have a christmas party.

Thursday's Food:
6" chicken parmigian sub (with tomatoes, onion and mayo) - 650
smarties cookie - 210
"vanilla bean" frappucino - 500
two slices toast (margarine and honey) - 360
granola bar - 140
Total: 1860

Dang I went over bad today! This is what I get for letting my friend buy me something to drink after we went to order her wedding dress - which by the way is so beautiful! Its got black vinery all over the bodice and the edges of the train. Its a very bold and stark look that only she could pull off :) I looked at some dresses for myself as well but didn't try any on. I think I favour the ones that have a little bit of pale embroidery on them. Not so bold as her dress because I'm not so bold a woman, but just enough to keep it from being what I consider boring if its just white all over. There was one dress I saw that had very bright flowers all over the bodice with dual silk lacings in bright blue on either side of the chest... very shepardess, but a little too much colour ;) I'm going to be so picky when I have to pick my dress, but I think I'll go to the same shop since they have a wide range of pricing, including some dresses that were even $300 without being completely horrendous (though there were a few that were pretty iffy!)

No period for a year holy crap that would be so wonderful..LOL. Unfotunantly I dont need birth control after 4 kids I got tied so now mine are awful. So consider yopurself lucky. Well Darlin anyway wanted to stop by and say Hello.

d'oh, I forgot to report back my food for yesterday!

Sweet mercy it is COLD out this morning. Spent the night at FH's and the bus schedule said that it would be by at 5:40 to get to work by 7 (well 6:30, but better early than late), so to make sure I didn't miss it, I was out at 5:30... and by the time 5:55 rolled around with no bus, I had to call FH to let me in so I could call a cab. I accidentally woke his mom up though, and she offered me a ride in and made me the hot chocolate before we left. I feel bad for waking her, but I'm kind of glad I did. Saved me like $30 for the cab ride.

Sounds like you had a good day, minus waking the soon-to-be-mother in law! She'll survive, obviously wasn't mad as she offerd you a ride! That's awesome!

Well enjoy the weekend!

Yeah she's usually pretty good about stuff like that, even though we have our fair share of opinion differences (ie she's an obsessive cleaner, and I'm...well, a slob)

Also, yesterday officially didn't happen >< I didn't just slip a little, I fell down the whole damn hill. I don't want to talk about it much.

Sunday food:
bowl of cereal w/ skim milk - 200
minbag of lite popcorn - 120
tuna sandwich and bowl of condensed tomato soup - 400
dry cereal - 200
chicken caesar salad - 300
2 christmas sugar cookies - 250
Total: 1470

Oh yes, I finally got a new fish yesterday, after the last one died like three weeks ago. Its a bit blurry because I took it with my phone's camera.

Hey Bailey! Just stopping in to check on you! Love the fish... What kind is it? Mine seem to be disappearing ... Dunno what is happening to them! lol..

He's a (powder blue) dwarf gourami fish. Very similar to betta fish in terms of general ease of care, but not nearly as susceptable to stress-induced illnesses that are caused by the stupidest things like the water being two degrees too cold or being transported too bumpily. He's also kinda crazy and sometimes swims all over the tank really fast for no reason (and tried jumping out of the bag while I was acclimating him!)

I had one of those.. he died last year.. but he was huge!! They are easy to take care of! I have two tetra's that chase each other around the tank.. I'm not sure if they are playing or are afraid they are going to get eaten by the algae eater that is about 7 inches long or more!! LoL..
