I'll give it a try. I'm not very optimistic that I will do very well as this is my first month, but I've got to start somewhere. I guess if I at least finish this challenge, in first place or in last place, finishing it will be the accomplishment!

New member - Pony girl. You can guess ... I am a small pony.
August first weigh in: 130 lbs - I am 5 feet - but used to weighing 115. I am here for the support.. I am very small, never dieted, love to cook, love to eat, love people: bingo! I used to exercise A LOT, but now I really hate to move my body... age??? I am only 54 so I am not thinking that is it ... or should I?

I was too scared to go near the scales last week so that 140lbs is from a few days before 01 August. I think I am losing weight at the rate of 2lbs (so far) a week, which is still considered healthy. Let's see what happens next week.
 
I hope you all are remembering to post your losses!!! Congrats to those who are seeing a loss and to those who are not, just keep going!! So last week might not have been good..this coming will may be great?!?

What's annoying is that yesterday I was down to 173, but last night I had margaritas with salt and so now I'm retaining water.

Kinda a lesson in scale management, huh?

Basically if you're doing the same things even if you're eating healthy maybe mix it up :p

You are right. I am going to stop beating myself up and enjoy the loss. :party:It is amazing how good I feel after such a crappy past week I had. Weight loss can be such a motivation booster, it seems. Thanks Korrie. Looking forward to next week. Good luck everyone!

Not really sure how that happened. I was 254lbs on Wednesday, had two low calorie days less than 1400 (not good, I know), and I know I was retaining water last week and earlier this week also. Anyways, no complaints from me! Just trying to figure it out, lol. Oh! ...and I started exercising this week...

4lbs in 3 days seems like a lot, but then I have consider the fact that I spent all of Saturday throwing up from being so trashed on Friday night.
I weighed in today and my weight was 135lbs so that seems more normal.
