Weight-Loss Amazing Race Style Challenge

Weight-Loss
If you're offering to pay for it, I'll have my passport out, my bikini purchased and at the airport in about two hours... PM me for details... I like to fly business class:)

No way sister!! I'll be sending myself there before anyone else. :sifone:

Oh, and another side note: Whenever a detour or roadblock involves exercise (such as this week's), the time spent doing the roadblock/detour exercise counts towards your weekly exercise minutes. It is not in addition to them.

ok so for someone in EST how much time left do we have to get all our info in?
i hate time conversions.

Looks like fun. I've watched capoeira on tv before. It's very interesting.

My H is gonna kill me if I have any more cabbage :D. I don't think I ever want cabbage again since I had to cram it all in yesterday and today. Bleh!:puke::ack2:

Uh oh. That could be a problem as we're going to Ireland next week and the bonus would be, you guessed it--more boiled cabbage. :biggrinjester: Just kidding! :D

I better be getting frequent flyer miles for this. also if we do go to Ireland I demand the challenge be related to drinking. Infact I demand it be the Guinness diet which I would happily have do to remove the lingering taste of cabbage soup.

Why couldn't we go to Ireland next week for St. Patty's Day?

I found Sean a shirt to wear to the bar on saturday night. It's vintage green and says "Cover Me in Guinness and Throw Me to the Irish Lesbians". ROFL!!!

If we did that, you'd all be too drunk off green Guinness and Harps to do anything productive. :D

Love Sean's tee, btw. :smilielol5:

You'll have to check with the airlines about the frequent flyer miles. They're getting pretty stingy with those lately, so I dunno about that. :D

I have not heard any conclusive evidence that the Guinness diet works. I do think it increases your odds of getting knocked up though. ;)

Did you not see the documentary? Dude did it for a week, lost like 10 lbs. apparently was not much worse off either for having spent a week drinking nothing but that. tired and bit cranky but not that badly off medically. Not that I'm recommending it. Also getting pregnant from a diet increases weight damnit, reverse effect is no good.

I am so happy I joined this!

All the extra exercise made such a difference!

Thank you, BB for being so creative and making these challenges fun!

I think I would feel terrible if all I consumed was beer for a week. :ack2:

CONGRATS TO THE MILF & AUSSIE BATTLERS FOR COMING IN 1ST PLACE THIS WEEK!!

Two people didn't update before midnight, and therefore, their teams missed out on a lot of pts. Remember--if you don't update your weight--even if you've updated your exercise and detour/roadblock, I cannot give your team your other points. This is to make sure that people who gain weight that week don't purposely leave out their weight so as not to take away from their team. As we start back at zero pts at the beginning of each week, we've all got a fresh slate.

How are you choosing non-elimination weeks, you said you would not know in advance, but never said what makes you choose.

As there are 8 weeks total and 3 of those non-elimination weeks, I took 8 equal size slips of paper and wrote E on 5 of them and NE on 3 of them. I then blindly drew one slip, and it said NE--non-elimination. I promise I didn't peak..lol. I won't draw until Fridays, b/c I don't want to know ahead of time as I'm afraid if I know it's a non-elim week, I'll slack off..lol. I kept the other 7 slips, and will draw from those next week. Actually, as the last week has to be an elimination week, I'll get rid of one of the elimination slips. :)
