I'm serious--no mean joke!! :D I figured I'd get people saying between work and family they had no time for napping and I was mean and horrible for making them nap..lol.

Ya tha twas my first thought - but thankfully Im on nights next week so I will be able to get the 30 mins lay down rest time in while im at work:D:D:D
 
does the running of the bulls count if i set my ddr to workout mode and punch in a half mile. meaning the game will cycle through songs without stopping untill i've reached a half miles worth of of steps. obviously i'd be keepign track of the five minutes.

lol on the other hand a nap sounds really nice.

Hmm...I suppose that's kind of like doing it on a treadmill. I've never done ddr, but if it would keep your heart rate at a similar pace as running would I suppose it would be all right. Just make sure you get the half mile done in under 5min. like you said.
 
HAHA! That is great! Of course I am doing both. I usually run once a week as a part of my routine. This detour is in the bag!!!! Nap or rest - that's easier even to the green tea!
 
ooh I will definately run, as for the napping that sounds near impossible with my day, of course when I was pregnant I would go out to my car or the break room (one of them has recliners LOL) with a neck pillow and nap away the lunch hour!
 
I definitely would have to run, because they only nap time I would have would be in the nap-room, however, I don't think that they would want me to actually nap since I'm supposed to be watching the kiddos. ;)

This was a weird week! Several teams had little or no loss, while the MILFs had a huge loss, and one person failed to check in on time.

I'm sorry to say that the Weightloss Warriors have been eliminated. I hope all 3 will continue to do the challenge in hopes of winning the 2nd chance. :)

Oh, and just in case any of you think there is still one non-elim week left, there isn't. I wanted there to be 3 teams left for the final week, so next Friday will also be an elimination week.

Gonna be working hard for next week for sure. I look forward to a week full of naps( becuase five just isn't enough). today's was quite refreshing.
 
Yeah, me either. Tonight was my husband's birthday party and we were out to eat and at a movie. (Funnily enough, I did remember to lay down and rest before we went, you'd think that would have reminded me.) I feel so stupid right now.

I just have to say that I am LOVING this detour - the 30 min nap has been doing WONDERS for me! It gives my boyfriend another chance to poke at my age (he's been givin me a hard time about turning the big 3-0...so my afternoon snooze just fits right along with getting up there! haha)
 
miss blonde - I just turned 30 as well and my health has been going down hill it seems for the last couple of months and everyone is taking this opportunity to remind me I turned 30 and it is down hill from here - LOL...

Aww thanks! He knows it...he just likes giving me a hard time. If we're out somewhere and I point out someone that I graduated high school with, he has a hard time believing I'm the same age as them.

I'm just glad it runs in my family to look younger than what you really are!

But I agree, age is a frame of mind!
 
Week 8 Roadblock (Final Week)

Week 8—Pamplona to Brussels 19hrs 46min (by train). 6hrs 36min split 3 ways.

Belgium is probably most famous for beer, chocolate and lace. And while the idea of sitting around in lacy underwear drinking beer and eating chocolate might be very appealing to many of you (it certainly is to me :D ), it isn’t very conducive to weight loss, and you’d have far too much fun. ;) Therefore, this last Roadblock isn’t nearly as delightful. Eat 20 Brussels sprouts over the course of the week. I don’t think Brussels sprouts originated in Brussels, and I never ate any while I was there, but oh well, I can’t think of anything else to make you do. :D

Only one person per team needs to do this. However, each teammate must do at least one roadblock, so if you haven't done one yet--this one's for you. Happy eating. :reddevil:

Oh, and congratulations for having made it to the final week. :sifone:
