well it looks like only running today...if that...i may not go to the gym

I have bowling later so I might just stick to that.

I fell this morning scraping my windows before work. My foot slipped off the curb and poof there I am on my butt and trying to catch myself I jammed up my wrist. Nothing serious, just extremely tender and sore.

Hopefully it feels better later :) with such a crappy beginnig of my day, the only way to go is up haha!
 
Thanks so much Angela! I ended up going to the gym. I ran on the elliptical for 25 minutes, just rested my arm on the arm grip thing (hurt too much to pump my arm). I wasn't going to go but I talked myself into it. I feel better emotionally for going. :)

I'm going to wrap my wrist for bowling tonight (luckily it was my left and not my right) because I still support the ball with that hand. Hopefully it will help. I'm sure I'll be feeling better later. :)

The plan for dinner is a burger and I don't know what else. :) Sounds good for now!
 
I'm glad you made it to the gym, just be careful with your wrist tonight. Gosh a hamburger sounds good, I haven't had one in quite a while, maybe I'll treat myself sometime this weekend.

I put a brace on my wrist and I bowled lastnight. I never realized how much I use my left hand at bowling until then. It was uncomfortable at first but I ended up bowling a 177, 193, 244. So it must not have been too bad. Hehe! :p

Christina - Thank you for the kind words as well. As far as bowling goes...lots of practice hehe! I've been bowling in leagues since I was a kid so...I have an advantage :p
 
Hey, you just reminded me that I wanted to take the kids bowling sometime. We went bowling for my neice's birthday and the kids had a blast. I know we would enjoy it as a family.

Thank you so much ladies! I definitely recommend bowling :) Kids definitely love it, and most adults too! hehe Thanks for the encouragement and concern. My wrist is still sore and bruised but it is doing better and I'm being careful with it. I have a tournament on Saturday. YAY :) hehe!

Oh yeah I almost forgot!! Today was weigh in day :eek: I'm down to 186.6
So I lost .6 pounds. I know it's better than nothing but I'm feeling a tad frustrated by that number. I've worked my butt off especially these last few weeks. I went to the gym 5 times each week!!! That's a heck of a lot for me! I hope the fat is fading and the muscles are building but I really can't tell. .6 pounds hmmm well it's better than nothing. I'll keep on truckin'
 
We all have our weeks Amanda. You're right, it's prob that the "fat is fading and the muscles are building." That's how it was working for me last year. Don't worry, you will see that muscle in due time. :)
 
Alrighty well here's the deal. I don't know how much I'll be on. I was home, sick, yesterday from work. Today I'm home, sick, again. I was hoping I'd be doing better. I barely have a voice. So anyway, I won't be doing any posting on here most likely. I'm planning on going to the doctor later today. :eek: ok well I miss all of you guys and hope you are all doing well as I'm not. :) take care
