I had a dream it was the end of the world... It would have made a cool movie, but it was super scary! In my dream my Aunt was so calm and happy, cause she belives it's not really the end, but a new begining to the "new system of things". blah blah blah. I love dreams. Maybe you dreamt about being choked because of the Pizza! At least thats what I thought you were going to say! tee hee

LOL Christina I have no clue about the choking part. Just know I woke up and was freaking out. Pizza...lol who knows!

Hmm well I had planned on being under 1200 for the day. I allowed myself room for the brownie. BUT I had wrote down the pop tart as 100 instead of 200 so I allotted 100 extra calories that I didn't have. Oops! I also would have stayed under with just the brownie but I ate some of the mix too. (My favorite chocolate and biggest no-no!) So I included the calories for a serving of that as well, although I'm sure I didn't have an entire serving. Ah well I'm still in the 1200 range. :)

Boy I'm feeling good today! The sun is actually shining!!! (haven't seen it in a while) Can't wait until I'm off work. Although, I'm going to get off work, eat dinner, and go bowling so I won't have much time to enjoy it anyway. Too bad, it's still cold out anyway. OH MAN I can't wait until the Spring! I'm sooooo looking forward to softball (and I'm going to be better in shape for the beginning of the season than ever!) :p
 
I'm glad you're feeling so much better. I'm with you and enjoying the sun, it's been shining here for the last two days although tomorrow they're calling for a wintery mix :( I'll just make the most out of it today. :D Keep up the good work!!
 
Crazy dream, I have one where someone was trying to get into our slider. I could hear the alarm telling me that the door was being opened but because of the bar in the door it wouldn't open. Funny thing about that my hubby didn't reset the alarm when he went to work. I still don't know if that happened or if it really was a dream. (we lived in a horrible neighborhood!) Way to go on not eating the pizza. I had a weakness this weekend and caved. Good job on the calories too!!! :)
 
Angela, I think we already got our wintery mix. Although, I'm sure it will be back around. Come on now I live in Michigan lol

Meshellibel...yeah I hate those crazy dreams. But don't worry about the weakness over the weekend. That's when I have mine too! I can kick butt through the week and then the weekend rolls around and boom! I'm like calories oh crap. LOL! I have been doing MUCH better though. Habit forms and it's much easier. (Although I still go over often times on weekends) Allowing myself a "free day" does seem to do better for me though. It allows me to eat the things that I want and enjoy them without the guilt. :)
 
My niece and nephew had a swim meet last night.

Julie came in 4th and 2nd (She is 8)

Austin came in 4th and 1st (He is 5)

Hehe they're so awesome :) just had to share it with everyone!

My other niece is awesome too but she doesn't swim lol she's the little drama girl hehe (actually in drama).

They all bowl too! Haha they'll be like me and their dad someday. :p
I'm so proud..can you tell?! :)

I can't imagine having a real winter, although I do get excited about the sunshine! I can't wait until I have a day to go to the beach!

It is good to have a free meal here and there, rather than setting yourself up for a binge. You're doing good, keep it up!

I don't really like that number. I think it's too low for me. I know I ate too much, too late last night. Because of forgetting breakfast and snacks, if I didn't eat that much I wouldn't have even made it to 900 calories. I wasn't hungry though. Hmm I guess not too bad of a day though.

Friday is weigh in. Hopefully I will have lost some of the weight that I put on while I was sick (about 3-4 pounds :eek: )
 
Your niece and nephew sound like great swimmers! Sounds like you did pretty well yesterday. Way to go getting the fruit in. If you don't like the apple by itself, I know sometimes i eat them with cheese or peanut butter. It's a good way toeat something healthy and sneak in few more cals.
 
An apple a day keeps the doctor away! Or something.

If you're having a hard time eating breakfast, I found that the Slim Fast Optima shakes are an easy way to eat breakfast on the go 180 cals for one and they're pretty decent. I bought some for the days that I sleep too late and need to rush to school or work, so I can drink them in the car, or for when I just don't feel like eating breakfast. It's a lot easier to drink than to chew when you don't want to eat. I like the Chocolate Royale ones.
 
Thanks so much ladies! I typically don't have a problem with breakfast, but yesterday I just forgot to bring it in, and of course my stash at work was empty. So tomorrow I'm going to bring in extras to the office so in case I forget again. Thanks for the tip though. I just cannot bring myself to drinking my meal. Besides the fact that last time I had those things, ick. lol! But thanks for the tips funky :)

Meshellibel - Thanks for the tips on the apples. I just bought some peanut butter the other day. I'll have to give that a whirl. I'm a very picky eater and don't like fruits and veggies (which is why they haven't been in my diet). I'll only eat green and yellow apples. But I have some green ones now and they're super good so yummmmmmm :) I'm happy that I'm starting to eat them. As I said, being picky it's really hard to get the nutrients that I need. I know I should but I'm not going to force myself to eat something that I don't like. I'd rather take the vitamins. :)

Angela - Thanks so much! Yep I guess I am back on track. I haven't worked out though because I can't breathe very well doing cardio with my congestion and cough as it still is. Doing sit ups and a little bit of tae-bo though. As far as my "diet" goes...it feels SOOO great to be back on track. The weigh in...I'm just hoping to see a little drop from last week. Since I put on some pounds, I would be thrilled to shave a couple of those back off. I'll do my best to be happy regardless. :)

Of course I'll fill you all in tomorrow.

Haha, it is hard to get used to the Slim Fast, but now I don't think they're too bad. But as long as you have stuff to eat like Nutri-grain bars, you're good to go! Sounds like you're doing good, keep it up!

YAY! I went out to eat AND stayed under my 1200 calories! I'm so proud! I actually took a while to sit there and think hmm what do I want that I won't eat a crap load of calories? I actually did even better, planning for dessert but Greg ordered Loaded Fries. I ate less than a serving (less than 1/3 of the plate), which was good for me because I LOOOVE those things. Oh the steak was sooo good! YAYAYAYAYAY! :p
 
Weigh-in! (saturday feb 26)

Ok well my first news for today. Greg and I bought a hamster last night! We both live in apartments and no dogs or cats are allowed. :) Sooo a hamster it is. It's name is Gizmo. :p It is soooo cute. We were going to get a little black bear hamster. He was trying to get out of the cage at the store (and was almost successful) so we thought "hey he has personality, we'll get him." Then we came back and he was sleeping, and we saw this other little gray and white hamster and it was running on its wheel like a madman (or woman). So we got him. Hehe! I can't remember what specific kind he is right now but doesn't matter too much at the moment.

Ok well the moment everyone has been waiting for. lol! :p
Last week after being sick I had gained a few pounds, putting me back up to 190.

This morning I weighed in and *drum roll* 185.4!!! I'm soooooo happy! I'm almost at my 20 pound mark! It's taken me a while to get there but oh my gosh I'm so ecstatic! Ok well I'm off to take a test for class, but I thought I'd fill everyone in. :) What a great day! :)
