Thanks for the support guys. My wrist/hand/arm still hurts. Not sure what I did, but it hurts to do just about everything....including typing. lol no cardio or weights this week, so I'm feeling pretty crappy.

Its sounds as if you already had your workout this week, LOL. Whats to be ashamed about? Remember one important thing here: Even though you do not workout, and other things in life (such like you are doing) interfere----it is STILL calorie IN versus calorie OUT, and you can stay on track if you stay within your calorie limits---even with a bag of chips..........

So where is the shame!........ROCK ON!

12.12.07 Miss me??

Yup, it's been a while. Been super busy with horse stuff, not enough time or energy spent on working out/eating right. Where I was working out religiously 5 days per week, I am now lucky to get in 3 cardio sessions. And weights?? HA! Yeah, just started those back up a few days ago. I Figure if I can still fit into my clothes, I shouldn't worry too much. So far, so good! LOL

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and hope you have a great holiday season - what's left of it!

Not so nice update....

I had a rather hard fall yesterday off a horse. I don't remember much from the fall, but what I do know is I have a mild concussion and possible a bruised/cracked rib or two. My head feels ok today, but the ribs are killing me. Hard to do much of anything.

Needless to say, not working out any time soon.

Hope all is well and if I don't return before then, hope you all have a GREAT holiday!

Thanks, Stingo. Got X-Rays taken this evening, so hopefully, I will know something by the end of the day tomorrow. Ibuprofen is my new best friend.

Here is my first diary post! hee hee hee....

4 mi run

Today's food:

Today's Cals: 1039

Is that a typo? 3 eggs post workout? What was your starting weight and what is it now?

No, it's not a typo. I'm not sure what my weight was then and I'm not sure what it is now. Of course, I haven't worked out in the way that is normally talked about here. I have been doing barn chores (i.e. mucking stalls, turning out horses, bringing horses in; LOTS of walking and lifting and such) for hte last few months and have really gotten slack on the elliptical/treadmill machines. And weights? Yeah, right.

Once I heal from this injury, I have decided to really bust out and get my crap together. No more slacking off. I just have to get back to it and get it done. Ugh. I'm tired of typing that. LOL I want to get this going, but at the same time, since I don't know if I have broken any ribs I don't want to push it. For the time being, lots and lots of rest for me.

Dont mind tribal. he's our friendly neighborhood troll.

LOL Thanks for the warning, Der. Hope you are staying warm and cozy today. Where I live, it's nasty out, but I have a nice fire going and I'm gonna snuggle up on the couch and have a nice lazy day. ahhhhh....

I hope your rib is bruised and not fractured. There is a bout a 8-month difference in recovery time between a bruised rib (1 month) and a fractured rib (9 months). Don't ask me how I know...

I cracked and bruised several ribs several years back taking a rather large person to jail after a vehicle chase (he misjudged my rather small size and heart to take him to jail within legal means).

It took just a tad over a month to heal the bruised ribs, and several months on the cracks ribs. One learns rather quickly the role they play in simple things like: standing, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, etc.

And, of course, this would have a "major" impact on training and some impact on diet (recovery).

Your supposed to be a fitness professional and if I ask if that's 3 post workout eggs I'm trolling? How many eggs are you supposed to eat in a week? How much cholesterol is in those 3 eggs alone?

First off- post workout for her isn't weight training, so its not exactly what you think.

secondly- by your signature I can already tell talking to you about eggs is completely pointless.

Third - you are trolling. You quoted a post from 37 pages ago just to say something crappy to someone.
This is a forum for people to discuss ideas. I asked Your supposed to be a fitness professional and if I ask if that's 3 post workout eggs I'm trolling? How many eggs are you supposed to eat in a week? How much cholesterol is in those 3 eggs alone?

Can you as someone who knows better than everyone else tell us How many eggs are you supposed to eat in a week? How much cholesterol is in those 3 eggs alone? The picture is getting clearer, your not really here to help people Derwyddon.
