All aboard the Fat Loss train!! Choo Choo!!!!

Kicked major butt yesterday with food and working out. Elliptical was good yesterday!! Really had to push it at the end to get it done, but I got it done.

Today it will be weights and a short run. I will be able to go out to run as we finally have some sunny weather!!! YAY!!
 
I'm doing a full body weight routine 2x per week, Sundays and Wednesdays. I generally alternate b/w upper and lower body (ex. flyes, then squats, then bicep curls, then calf raises, etc). I was doing as many of ea excercise as I could, then I changed it to doing 15 reps (1 set) of each excercise. I do more abs and lying abductors and lying adductors....mostly because they just feel so good when I do them. LOL

Staying on target today with the food. Looking forward to a HARD workout this afternoon, which will include weights. Not sure what dinner will bring, but whatever it is, it'll be ok. :)

Good morning, all.

I have had a few requests to post my weight routine*, so here it is:

Deadlifts
Calf Raises
Bicep Curls
Squat with Hammer Curl
(Butter)flyes
Static Lunge
Kickbacks
Stair step up with leg kickback
One Arm Dumbbell Row
Side bend with weights
Crunches**
Lying Abductor**
Lying Adductor**

* All excercises done 1 set of 15 reps
** These excercises I do to music, so I end up doing more than the others. In fact, I don't even count them. It just feels REALLY good to work these so I do more.

Also note, I definitely need heavier weights, esp for legs. The highest my weights go is 15 bc I haven't been able to get any more. Most of the excercises I barely feel...perhaps I should do more than one set. LOL (Gee, ya think??:yelrotflmao:)

Food today will be spot on.
 
I'm really glad you've got this really cheerful, optimistic thing going on. I can really tell how proud and happy you are from how you've written. Good on you. You're doing great!

It's about 3pm here and I've done pretty well as far as eating is concerned, although the macros aren't kind. I have about 8% more fat than protein, but the cals are good.

Got a good workout this morning, despite the cable guy being here. LOL I got my weights in before he showed up and while he did his thing, I got on the elliptical. It feels good to be done it all though. Now I can relax for the rest of the day. :D

Edited to add that we got digital cable today and FitTV is my new favorite station!!!

I just finished entering my food for the day and although my fat and protein % were just about the same, my cals were quite a bit lower than they have been, so I'm really happy about that. :)

I did a good job today. I stayed within the recommended amount and increased the protein just enough so that it was more than the fat %. YAY ME!!

Oh man, I should have gotten Digital cable LOOOONG time ago!! There's FitTV and then there's fitness on demand!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I'm going to do an ab routine tonight and I think I will do a dance type thing tomorrow. Low key, light cardio. It may be a rest day, but I can't wait to try it!

Eaten pretty well today so far. I just got back from a walk with a friend of mine. It's a rest day, but the walk was nice. My abs are sore from last night. I LOVE DIGITAL CABLE!!! LOL That fitness on demand thing is AWESOME!

Going to visiting hrs tonight for my grandfather and tomorrow is the funeral.
