I was thinking I'd already done my affirmation for today, but I didn't. Oops. I guess my affirmation for today won't be that I have a good memory. ;)

Affirmation for Wednesday: I'm really good at meeting deadlines.
 
Affirmation for today: I'm able to look at old bad habits objectively and am learning new ways of thinking in order to break them.
 
Food for today

Lunch - one tortilla wrap with grilled chicken and peppers 450 cals

Dinner - prob just some oven chips with coleslaw (everyone else is havinf dominos pizza and i am not going there!) 500 cals

Snacks - 8 vodka and diet coke 400 cals, prob one slice pizza 300 cals

Total cals Around 1700

Exercise

3 miles with dog
Walking around shops for manyyyyy hours!

Bonuses

1) No fried food at all

2) Affirmation - I always finish what i start :D
 
Thursday affirmation: I can function on very little sleep.

Says me with a whopping 3 hours last night. Must have caffeine...
 
Hi guys :)

Just to let you know that i will be flying out on holiday on Sunday night so i wont be posting for a couple of weeks. I've checked with missblonde and she says thats fine so hopefully when i get back i will have maybe lost one or two lbs! I will post my stats today so that i dont forget and if im not back on before i leave, I hope everyone continues to do well! Go Green Team!!

Hey guys, I'm going to be moving next week. We're getting the keys to our first home Monday or Tuesday. When I called about utilities and transfering our cable and internet though I found out they are backed up and unless they get an opening we won't be getting our internet hooked up right away at the other house...my hubby is freaking out, lol.

Anyways I already pm'ed Missblonde to let her know that I'll need to pull out of the challenge...I'll make sure to record for this week so you guys get points though. I just don't want to be MIA and have you guys missing out on points and let you all down. Good luck and hopefully after this weekend I'll be back around sooner than later.
 
Bonus goal for this week: 1+ servings of each of 15 different vegetables.

I eat a reasonable quantity of both fruits and vegetables (3-4.5 servings a day of fruit and 3.5-5 servings a day of veggies), but I don't have a huge variety. For the 5 days ended yesterday, I'd only had 7 different fruits and 7 different vegetables, and they're kind of my staple foods. Almost always in the house, easy to prepare, things I like. I get enough variety over the course of a week (in that my Fitday reports for any given week show me over 100% of the RDA of everything), but I'm kind of in a rut.

So what's everyone else doing for the bonus this week?
 
Diet
Breakfast: 1 banana
Lunch: Whole Wheat Triscuit crackers
Dinner: Chicken Cesar Salad
Snacks: Lots of Veggies (Cucumber and carrots)

Exercise
1 hour on treadmill

Monday:
Food: peanut butter on a spoon, Chinese buffet (work lunch), curried cauliflower with peas (from one of the America's Test Kitchen cookbooks), a string cheese, cottage cheese, raspberries, Blue Bell Candy Jar ice cream (new flavor, couldn't resist), cheddar cheese

Exercise: none

Tuesday:
Food: a plum, some cottage cheese, another plum. Bunch of grapes, some almonds, some sweet cherries, hummus with tomato, a marshmallow, stir-fried tomato beef, a bowl of peas, a chunk of chicken breast, the rest of the grapes. And then, way, way, way too much ice cream. Ice cream is a big downfall of mine. Plus I'm not getting enough sleep, which makes me want to eat. Plus I'm an emotional eater, and have been super stressed lately, which makes me want to eat. Seriously, I have to switch to more portion-controlled ice cream.

Exercise: none

Wednesday:
Food: chicken breast, a giant bowl of beets. Handful of sweet cherries. Tiliapia (made by MIL). Oatmeal with brown sugar.

Exercise: 30 min of Wii-yoga, 30 min of strength work, 30 min of boxing (my favorite).

Guys, sorry I haven't been able to update lately, I have my foods written down and will update it all on the day I weigh. It has been really busy but I am hanging in there- surprisingly I have lost a few pounds lol. I have a doctors appointment early and need to go get my eyebrows waxed before. Just wanted to let everyone know. Keep it up! You guys are doing great!
