I was just reading a few pages back, and there was some discussion of wearing only long pants and long-sleeved shirts because of feeling that the arms/legs aren't nice enough to show. I remember i used to ONLY wear jeans, even in the scorching summer sun (and i live in ontario.. lol) up to like 28 degrees Celcius, which is like 80 Fahrenheit. I used to sweat sooo much, and it was uncomfortable, all because i hate my legs. lol
I have stopped since. I wear shorts now. but i remember the naked feeling when i was wearing shorts, not being used to it. i guess i am just trying to post, telling how it is not fair that we have to sweat and be uncomfortable just because we are already uncomfortable in our skin. i understand it, and i think that it needs to change. who cares if you have a chunky thigh or calf (i actually have the biggest calves. i can't find nice knee-high boots that will zip over my calves lol). i am SURE that it is not as bad as you may think... and even if it is, who cares?? why should you have to be sweaty and uncomfortable in heavy clothes in the middle of the summer heat just cause you may have some extra pounds?
(i hope that this came off right. lol i meant only the kindest of words... almost like a motivational pep talk haha)
You're so right! I am sick of covering up in the sweltering heat. I am definitely wearing some shorts this summer.
And I have the same problem with boots too! I had to get my boots from Zappos where they have "plus size" boots.
In other news, I am down to 171.8 today! Woo-hoo! I am so close to 160s!!!
