and for the ticker, use the URL that tickerfactory gave you, and then go into the control panel on this site. There's a link that says, "edit signiture" open the link, and then paste the URL into the box. You can preview your signiture to make sure it looks like how you want it to.

Ugh. I don't feel THAT much thinner and I've dropped to 219 from 242 (little over two months ago). effing man boobs suck. =/

This is actually my third attempt on three different sites. Third times the charm! I'm interested! I'm only 15 but I'm 235 pounds. [ Ouch ] My goal is to eventually lose around 100 pounds. Which right now seems like a whole lot. So We'll focus on around 30 pounds. :)

I have a bit of a personal request if anyone is interested in taking it up. I'd like a " Inspirational " Email in the mornings. And I'll send one back. Just alittle hello to keep me on track and such. Progress report almost!

I don't want to not follow through this time. I want this diet to be the LAST diet. :D

I'll check in tomorrow to see if anyones interested in our little email gathering.

Welcome to the site! This is a great site for keeping on track and whatnot. We're glad to have you here and making the choice to live healthier. I was like you, I was 225 when I was 16, so we have similar starting weights, and focusing on small goals along the way to the big goal is a great idea. It's what helps me get to the next step.

If you want, I can try to take on the giving you a motivational message, though, would it be ok if I just sent them to you through a perosonal message on this site? That would be the easiest, since I am on here everyday, rather than on my email. But, if you would prefer the email, then I could try that too. (just, be forewarned that I might sometimes forget)

My starting weight was ~240 lbs. and now I'm at 204. Like you, I don't really feel like I've lost that much weight, but I can definitely see a diference in my face, and besides, I've dropped three jeans sizes.

Like someone said earlier, third times the charm. I lost about a stone over the summer (14lbs) and have basically put it on since I went back to college. Im 17 and I'm hoping to lose about 2 stones (28lbs) by the summer. I'm the kind of person that can have a lot of motivation and stick to my plan and exercise, but at the moment I just find myself eating chocolate and not going for a run. I'm hoping that you guys will help keep me on track!

dont give uP there. eat dark chocolate if it helPs, its rich w/ antioxidants (good stuff). Try drinking yogurt smoothy (low calorie) it will helP. ;)
 
I'd like to join. I already reached my goal (from 175 when i was 13 to 110-120--scales broken atm--at 16) Also, I'm 5' 9".
Anyway I thought maybe i could give some advice or something (this site is still useful to me for maintenance) if anyone wants any.
[personal thoughts] Lately I've regained some of my old metabolism again (as I was uninformed when I started and I lost a lot of weight but I screwed up my metabolism) and now I absolutely need to have at least 1150 calories compared to my weightloss range of 300-600.[personal thoughts]
Like I said I've experienced quite a bit during my weightloss history and if I can I'd like to give any advice if you want. Good luck.

Hey im wesley, and ima 20 year old male, i too am new here and am starting the whole weight loss process thing...im currently 6'0 bout 265lbs....im not obese jus kinda fluffy lol ...so to speak ...and well ill be turning 21 here in the next 3 weeks and that is when i take the physical for the police job i been so ANXIOUSLY awaiting , im already through most of the process and i have to do a physical .....so im busting my butt trying to lose this .....and i know suppplements are frowned upon on here but im currently taking hydroxycut hardcore and it seems to be working and im experiecing no side effects...ive changed my eatin habits im now eating very healthy low carbs and high protein and drinking nothing but water....i can tell a big difference in my skin it has been clearing up and jus lots of plus's ....i been running alot and its great!!! i feel sooooo much better and have so much more energy and im gettin noticed by more girls!! and OMG u have no idea how great that feels!! but anyways this is me in a nutshell anything else u wanna know jus ask
 
stuck in a rut

hi everyone--i saw this thread and was immediatly drawn to it and can relate to all the girls wanting to look great for their senior year

im 17, 5'9'', and don't know how much i weigh because i used to suffer and kind of still do from an eating disorder and im not really supposed to weigh myself (plus i cant bring myself to do it)
but im estimating wanting to lose about 20 pounds--

once i got "help", weight came on, and fast, ive been depressed for about a year and a half (so depressed that i am on medication, and hate going out to do the things i used to love to do).

i have sort of a phobia about a lot of foods, so im vegan, plus i dont sugar products or fatty products (which means soy and veggies mostly)

i work out for 2 hours on the elliptical everyday, play intense tennis (want to play in college) everyother day, and weight lift everyother day, and starting this week im running with a friend several times a week--so as you can see im an extremely active person, but im not the weight i want to be

i want to be able to go into my closet and put on all the cute clothes i have without having to look in the mirror to make sure i dont look fat again, i miss just being comfortable with myself

i know most of my issues are in my head, which can be hard to help someone with, but i need help (other than my shrink), i want to be skinney again and i want to look great for my senior year---anyone with advice please please please help me, i need it

So yeah. 'Tis easter. So I got candy. I feel like I should just scarf it down so it won't sit there and tempt me for ages. Haha. Boo to easter candy that tempts me! O:

And guess what guys! I lost 2 pounds this week! Hehe. And I wasn't even "dieting" or exercising. Maybe this is easier than I think it is. But yeah. I was so happy about that I ran around the building like 5 times. Hurrah for weight loss! xD

I'm going to have more horseback riding lessons now! My trainer is letting me clean stalls for lessons. And she wants me to show in walk/trot classes this summer. Although I was rather depressed to see the first show was on my brother's wedding day. Bah. But I'm excited that I get to show this summer. :)

Yay for riding lessons! Vel lets the volunteers here get lessons for $10 a lesson. It's nice. AND I've already signed up for lessons this summer! I'm excited! AND it puts me on a deadline where I need to lose the weight by. I'm hoping to be at least 170 by the time summer rolls around. Wish me luck!
