Haha, I feel the same way! I'm giving myself two weeks before I weigh myself again. :eek:
 
HI! I am so glad I came across this one! I am 20 years old, and after having my daughter almost 2 years ago, my weight has kind of gotten away from me.. I am 276 lbs 5'6" and ready for a change... I am having a hard time convincing myself to get up and go to the gym or walk at my house.. I am eating better though.. just today on the way to work I was soooo craving a cheeseburger from mcdonalds, it was all i could think about... but i got to work, forced myself to eat my lean pockets I brought with me, and decided if i still felt the need to have the cheeseburger I would allow one for dinner.. but I dont feel the need after filling up with something better! :) Just thought I would share! I think we are all doing the right thing starting the weight loss journey now, the longer you wait i think the harder it gets (so my mom has said). Good Luck all!!

Yeh we should sort this weight thing out now- i mean im 15- and have been 'big' since i was a toddler, and i dont want to end up in 10, 20, 30 years time totally regretting not sorting out now, i either put a bit of hard work in now and have the rest of my life to be healthy (and skinny) or i eat that cake, and end up in my 50's, 60's whateveer still over weight and regretting it dearly. Yeh anyway bit of motivation for myself there.
 
Hi, I've just joined the site and this thread looks good.
I'm a 18 year old guy from the UK and I want to lose the weight while I am still young and hopefully lose most of it before I go to uni in september.
5'8" and am now 225.4lbs but was 255.2lbs before I started my diet 10 weeks ago, I am hoping to get to a healthy weight of 161lbs.
ps I ate too much chocolate at easter as well lol.:D

Ate pretty badly today.. bowl of corn chex for breakfast, blueberry muffin for lunch

pb&J when I got home,

a very small piece of pizza while at the barn, and 3 sugar cookies

Then, chili when I got home....

wow..I was so bad today, but I blame it on TOM...I've been craving fatty bad for me things sooooo badly today.... lol. :D

urgh i wish i lost weight as easily as i gain it. Ahh well, i managed to get back to a better eating routine yesterday thank goodness. Ive bein trying to that for 2 weeks, but i just kept ending up caving in, and thinking 'ill start tomorow' hmm oh well.
 
Janez, I know what you mean. You fall off for a day, then the day turns into 2, then 4, then more and more. I'm glad that you got back on it though! Great job!

Well, hey, guess what. My weight is school's fault! haha. No. But when spring break was here I was busy and could have cared less about food. Because I got to see the horses everyday. <3 And then school came back and killed everything. Not to mention the whole Virginia Tech thing. So sad. My cousin goes to Tech and my brother's going next year. And I'll go there too when I go to college. I love VT. <3

Anyways. Today I had plain mini wheats for breakfast (let me tell you, that is the best snack in the world. hah.). I ate some chocolate bunny after that though. Bad me. Then we went horse back riding. So I rode for at least 2 hours. We worked mostly on posting so my legs were really shaky when I got off Delilah. haha. After the lesson we went out to eat for my sister's b-day.

Soooo. Bad day today. haha. Two biscuits for breakfast. Haven't eaten lunch yet but I ate a snickers. Eek. But today I plan on seeing Sargie for his birthday. I just made him a lovely little cake. I can't believe my little horse is 4 years old! Time flys. Anyways. His cake looks scrumptious. Bahaha. It's oats, carrots, and molasses. Then I made a 4 with celery. Then the icing is honey. And now it has to freeze in the fridge. :)

cute! When Charles turned 26, we made him a carrot cake! And shared it with the other 23 horses.

Oh, and we just got a new one. His name is Major. And at the moment, he's a major cutie, a major sweetie pie, and a major pain! He broke through two hotwire fences two days ago! :D
 
Bad weekend this weekend as I was at a friend's 18th birthday party on the Friday and Drunk alot and got a Chinese take away at about 4 in the morning. :( And then went to watch my Local Football (Soccer) team and we won so ended up drinking some more to celebrate. :eek: But on the plus side I weighed my self on today and thanks to doing well the rest of the week I actually lost 0.5lbs lol.

But I have got to say it is the first real bad few days I have had since I started my diet 10 weeks ago so. I suppose it doesn't matter and I'll call it a treat for losing 30lbs. :D I've just got to put my mind back on the job for next week.

( I don't weigh myself often 'cause I dont want to get discouraged) I'm really active and at a healthy weight but I want to get rid of that EVIL lovehandle hip fat and shave a bit off my thighs. I joined a gym and I've lost about 20 lbs over the last 2 years but lately I havent been able to really lose that extra bit. SO ANNOYING! I'm so close! And I eat really healthy and consume the right number of calories so whats wrong?! Maybe I just need a bit more time? It's also hard when you're a culinary student and HAVE to try everything, no matter how fatty. GRRRr!

Awwww. Jessie looks so much like Sarge. But I'm sure Jessie has much better manners. hah. Sarge is such a... twit. But he's a mighty cute twit. xD

I lost 2 pounds this week. That surprised me a bit. But whoot anyways!

Today I had chex mix for breakfast ( so healthy, right? haha.). And I had chili for lunch. And a muffin for dessert. bahaha. Then we went to see this horse I might half lease. His name is Bubba. He's real cute. And then I went to see Sarge. Man, he was a brat. He almost kicked me in the head! But anyways. After struggling with that crazy horse i went in the back field and ran around with the dogs. Then I decided to hike through the woods. So I got a good deal of exercise in. And then I was thirsty and had a soda. And when I came home I had another muffin.

And, and, and I would post pictures of Bubba but my camera deleted them. x.x

But here's a picture form Sunday when we had Sarge's B-day. He got to graze in the back yard.

Ah, welcome! We can be pretty pokey here with responding to things, sorry you didn't get a hello sooner! :p

I'm considering going to culinary art school! Probably not the best choice for someone that wants to lose weight. haha

I think I gained 4 pounds this week. boo. It's weird though. If I don't try to lose weight, I do. And when I try, I don't. Makes me mad. /;<

Anyways. Good news. I'm going to lease a hanovarian/westphalian cross named Bubba (I hate his name. Ha.). So I can go riding everyday! :)

And. I had a great lesson this week as well. We worked on the trot some more. And my legs weren't tired this week. haha.

Hi, I'm new! I've been dieting on and off for a while but this is the first time I've found other younger people on the internet (I'm 15) and Im hoping this might keep me from slipping up again.
 
wahey! The good thing is... as a "youngster" or under 21 years of age, its far easier to change, or atleast sculp your body the way you want it, compared to doing at age say 50! Its similar to breaking bones in some obscure way, a toddlers arm could heal in 2 months, an elderly lady's arm may heal in 9 months, nip it in the butt when its young!
