Today was amazing. I rode Bubbies again. He was a doll, as usual. We worked on trotting and posting and did a little leg yielding. It was great though, because I had the ring to myself. But I got quite a workout. hah.

And let's see, for breakfast I had a granola bar. Then I had a pretzel stick from my friend at lunch. And then we went to Burger King and I got the chicken fry combo. Very bad but how could I resist? har har. Then we went riding for several hours. I was surprised at how long I rode. hah. And then I saw Sargie but I just fed him. And that's it, pretty much. I think I'll go eat dinner. Yurm.

Oh yeah. I thought I'd show you all what Bubba looks like. :)

Hiya everyone! Make sure that you say Happy Mother's Day to all your moms! :D

We're going shopping today, and it should be fun. lots of walking involved, so everyone's happy. AND, it should help me burn off some of the yummy mother's day breakfast that I made this morning. Eggs, O'Brians, and french toast....*yum* :D

It's kinda crazy where I am too. Because it's sunny, we can get so much more work done around the ranch, so i'm always on my feet on mondays and fridays, but i'm not complaining. :D

I keep thinking about all the other diets I tried, and how, if I had stuck to them, I wouldnt be trying to lose weight right now. So heres to not thinking the same thing next year. I was hoping one or two of us would be posting daily, I need that sort of leash and motivation. I will be here everyday. Anyone want to buddy up with me? My plan is simple, mainly because all of my other plans were too complex. I will drink 3 slimfast meals (shakes) a day. Period. Oh, and water of course. I won't be exercising, first because I am barely taking in many calories, and secondly, after the first month it should be easier with less weight to haul around.

You should consume atleast 1,200 calories a day. Under that amout, you will lose fat, of course, but muscle too... Until your body grips on to all the fat it can hold, and takes away muscle only. (so I believe by reading assorted posts in here)

Can just three shakes a day provide that, along with the other nutrients you need? I don't want to discourage you, but I think it's going to be very, very difficult to keep the diet up without eating solid foods, also. The smlimfast products are a great addition to a healthy diet!.. Just add some greens and fruits in there too? I don't mean to sound rude or anything, I'd just like to see everyone succeed.

I'd be interested in buddying up with you though. I need someone like you, I think, that will be online every day, mostly. :] I usually am, haha.

finally i found a site n forum where ppl can understand me,lol,anyways,i really want 2 lose weight so i told my parents to buy a running machine so i cud actually lose weight as well as doin diet... But my mother told me if i use it alot i cud have a disc in my back,is that true? cuz i heard on TV that we sud at least take a walk for 30min everyday. So i dont know if its true cuz if it iz den its bad,rite? anyways,if dat dont work den can any1 tell me what i cud do 2 lose weight,like excercise especially for my hips n butt XD... plz HELP!!!
 
btw, i have no clue h much i weigh but i know i weigh bout 60KG till 70KG,cuz i gained weight which i think iz 120lbs till 140lbs or more,but i do have hips n da butt,not good at all,n da worst part of all i have stretch marks -_-'',but does coconut oil work if i use upon it?dats wat i heard..dunno T^T,plz help!!

I would love to be your buddy, and after yesterday I discovered it is extremely difficult to be without regular food, so I went out this morning and bought some banannas, strawberries, carrots and tomatoes. That should help a lot...I hope...

Oh, that's awesome! :)

You bought really good foods that are good for you too :) I love healthy foods because you can eat larger portions without feeling guilty. Portion size is something that I have to work really hard to control because sometimes if I eat too large of a portion, it triggers a binge.

Your mother told you not to use a treadmill because you could possibly get disc degeneration? That is insane, people run, and exercise every singly day. I see no reason why you shouldn't get one, unless you already have back problems, in which case you should talk to your doctor before starting any exercise program... I mean, it surely is possible, but you are young and problems are much less likely to occur due to your exercising now than if you put it off another 10+years.

Edit. Also, your body loses and gains weight in predetermined areas. It's great to do different exercises, but none will guarantee that you will lose weight in the area that you are working. I'm sure you will slim your hips and but eventually if you eat healthy, and exercise though. :) Best wishes.

Hm. Well, I gained like half a pound last week but it was expected. I basically pigged out the whole week. hah. And this week I expect to gain some too. I'm eating too much. But I am getting exercise. I go riding, like, 4-6 days a week now. And now we're jumping! Whoot whoot. I jumped my first vertical yesterday. I wanted to go out today but it's icky and wet and rainy. Rain is such a nuisance. x.x

Hm. Not much else to say, I guess. Except, I'm craving graham crackers. xD
 
Hello, My name's Treece. And I apologize beforehand for this post being extremely long. I'm 17 years old, and I currently weigh 188 lbs. I think knowing other people my age will help me to work harder towards my goal.

I'm very picky with my fruits and veggies, and my mother finds it very silly, and it makes it hard for me to buy things. Like for example I love pineapples(I'll eat canned because it's quicker, but I prefer whole ones because they're sweeter), but my mom thinks they're expensive, so when I do get to buy one, I have to be the one that cuts it. I know it sounds sooo silly, and I don't really know why I'm picky. Is anyone else like this? Even a little less extreme? I have a question though. Does anyone know if it's ok to have a small amount of chocolate with strawberries? Maybe even lowfat?

Also if it's ok with you RaeRae I'd like to be your buddy as well?

Now that school's out I'm planning on going to the gym 5 or more days a week.
First I weigh myself
Then I stretch my arms, thighs, and calves...(I got a horrible calf cramp in the middle of the night one time, and I'm not sure if it was because I didn't stretch it, but I make sure I do now).
Then I do about 50 sit-ups which I've been slacking on.
Then a walk/jog once around the track to warm up.
Then I do 30 minutes on this machine...that I don't know what it is really lol.
Then weight again, and if I'm in the mood I'll stretch which I really should be doing.
