184 today :( im not that annoyed seeing as how i had a major blow out on the weekenmd (involved a lot of pizza, and icecream) but im just going to have to keep going and try twice has hard this time.

Ahh chocolate..i think ive exausted my taste for sweet things, a mate stayed over, and it was just a junky evening, and ive totally lost my appetite. Ive made a desicion, and i know i say this every week, but ill just have to try again, ive been lookiung at catalogues, thinking about what dress im gonna wear for my leaving ball thing, and im not going looking like this, so i have about 12 weeks before i need to buy my dress really.

ooooooooooooooooooo the official start of summer time on the 25th March :D

This summer, i want to be able to wear cut of jeans, shorts, even a skirt heaven forbid, without feeling like a-as ive said before- a toad in a pillow case

please, dont let me screw up again :( lol, u have full permission to hit me, or shout at me, or anything
 
I was 190! :D That's down 2 lbs for me! I'm only 2.5 lbs away from where I was before the holidays. I hope it will NEVER do that to me again, and if I do ballon up 10lbs. somebody please smack me! lol

I wish I had a scale so I knew exactly what I weigh. Hah. But we don't have one. Argh. /:

My eating habits are much better since I came on here. I don't drink sweet tea anymore. Only water. Except the occasionally Dr. Pepper I have when we go out to eat... which is barely ever. And I don't eat a lot of sweets anymore. But sometimes I get sad and eat a bunch of frosted mini wheats. Hah. I love those things. Today was a rather fattie day. My mom bought me a bisquit from Hardees this morning for breakfast so of course I ate it. And then I had to leftover slices of pizza. Argh. I wonder how many calories that is?

Anywho. I hope everyone has a good day. :)

argh cravingsss, its only morning (going to school in a sec) and im craving digestive biscuits, i dont feel like im making any progress at all, ive decided, no more scales for 2 weeks, i might have to drop out of the challenges but i need to see some results, which i just dont see weighing everyday. ok today i was 184 (at first it said 186, but i moved the scales on to a better floor and it said 184 which sounds better considering my yesterdays weight. So im going to put full effort in for the next 14 days and see the results, well thats the plan anyway.

i had oatmeal this morning with half cup milk, 1 cup water, a tsp of honey, and a yoghurt, maybe not the healthiest additions to the porridge, but a start.

So 30 minutes exercise a day, plus im trying to do 50 sit ups a day, not much now, but then im going to build it up, ui dont really know what im doing exercise wise. but depending on the weather, ill do minimum 30 minutes cycling or walking a day. ok thats my pledge....lets see if i can stick to it. Please help me you guys, ill try to help myself, but some days are really difficult.

Hate to sound cheesy but....bring it on!

So. I think the worst is over. I know that a diet should be more of a lifestyle and that's what I'm trying to accomplish, better habits. And it's working. No snacking today! Not that I didn't take in plenty of calories. Hah.

For breakfast I had a big bowl of Trix cereal. Yummie! And then I had a horseback riding lesson. So I rode for 2 hours. I had so much fun too. I rode Rio in her english saddle and Sammie bareback with a halter. I fell off him twice. Haha! But he's just a tiny pony so it was all good! Oh man, that was fun. And then we went to Dairy Queen as we always do after lessons. And I always get the chicken strip thingie which I'm sure is tons of calories. And of course I had a soda. I can't go out to eat and not have a soda! Hehe. But I didn't have any cravings at all tonight! All my bad habits are going away! I don't snack anymore. I drink only water (except the occasional soda. Hehe.). So I'm improving my lifestyle! I've decided that I won't have a time limit to my weight loss. That doesn't matter. It just matters that I'm healthy. And if I lose ome weight.... well, yay! Hah. I'm quite happy at the moment. I feel like I can really do this. :)

Hi! I'm pretty sure I'm the youngest one on here at 14! Right now I'm 187 but I want to get down to 160-150. I want to lose weight to look better but also to start horseback riding again! After falling off and getting my leg stepped on I think losing weight will help with balance and strength. Also I want to go to a camp but they have a weight limit of 180 =/ Nice to know people my age (and who love horses) are on here!

I'm having a spiffy day! My mommy bought me a hardees bisquit for breakfast. And that was yummy. And then I had my newest concoction (sp?) for lunch. Buahaha. It's a wrap with provolone and ranch dressing. So yummy. Hah. And I had broccoli and dip. Hah. The dogs tried a broccoli stem. It was hilarious.

I'm waiting for my mom to come home so she can take me to see my Sargie boy! I'm going to put the saddle on him today if he does good with the saddle pad. Teehee. :)

Maybe i'll set up a goal, and run somewhere, like, run to Ireland, or to Churchill Downs or somethings. :)

im beating you age wise ...just..im 15

And im about the same weight as you, ...hmm i see a competition arising lol

i used to have riding lessons for about 2 years, havent been for years though, its something i'd love to start doing again after my exams in july, and i have a 3 month break-if i manage to get below 160 before the start og august i will take up riding again :) well if i can afford it.

Small confession to everyone about a HUGE screw up over the last week, i did set myself a challenge and totally failed, but learning from my mistakes, i hauled myself back up and have done well on sunday and today, started counting to 10 whenever i was going to go eat inbetween meals, in this way i managed to stop a biscuit raid that i so wanted to do.

I weighed intoday at 186 :eek: i was not happy at this :( but i guess i just get on with getting rid of it again, argh and to think i was in the 170s a month or 2 ago.
 
Not the best day today. I don't feel good so I was sorta snacking on my mini wheats. Hah. But it was so good. And I had chili for lunch. And granola bars for breakfast. I guess I'll just eat very little for dinner. Fwee.

So I weighed myself yesterday at the building my mom cleans. Hah. Not what I wanted to weigh. 165. BLEH. I've gained 5 pounds since last year! Ick. But I'll see what I can do about that. Hmmph. I feel so fat. I need a nap. /:

So. Me and my friend are probably going to the barn this friday. My friend wants to take picture of my trainer riding Rio for her photography class. Maybe I could get to ride a bit as well. Hehe. Bareback on Sammie = Love. Hah. xD
 
Hello I just joined today and the site looks very supportive!

I'm 17 and weigh around 200 pounds (sounds awful! :p) and 5ft 10/11 so my goal weight is around the 150 mark.. which 50 pounds to me sounds horrendously hard as i have never tried dieting or even excersising pretty much before! (Bad i know!)

Nice to see other young ladies (and men :)) on here who have succeeded in their weight loss and i must say from the before and after photos you all look terrific.. but i would like to just FEEL better health wise... but obviously looking great comes with feeling great!

Id like to know how you all have the time for excersize and what routines you all do... it's hard trying to fit a routine in myself, as i am at college doing my a-levels (UK) and im up at 6 and back at home at half 5, then i have so much work and essays to write contstantly, its hard to make time to excersize, yet realisticly i know i need to do a little bit to shed the wieight!

Im hoping to lose 50 pounds by around july/august... in time for my holiday... but with a view to once reaching 150... possibly losing about 10 more by the time i go back to college in september.. give all the students a shock! ;)

Any tips/advice would be great from people with similar goals :)

I have a new goal! Not to weigh myself for three days..I want to start doing it every three days because seeing the same weight every day is getting discouraging!

ill be starting a-levels in september, but i think i get wednesdays of which is novel, and free periods etc which im determined to try and work through, so im hoping ill be able to fit everything in-but the 3 months of i'll be getting between high school and college should give me plenty of time to get some exercise in and get the bulk of the weight off :D :D

I'm up 4lbs.:mad: but oh well, I shall beat this sooner or later. Preferably sooner. I want to see that scale tell me that i'm in the 180's. I'm tired of being in the 190's.

I'm in a slight rut, and even though I try to tell myself that i'm getting out of it, i never seem to be able to... It's starting to really frustrate me...:mad:
