2 Pounds A Week Club

Started the week at 164.... now am 161! Three pounds down this week, hopefully I can lose two more next week :)
 
Goodbye 240s! Down nearly three pounds again! Missed it by .2 lbs :(

First weigh in: July 11, 249.4 - BMI 36%

2nd weigh in: July 18, 247.4 - BMI 34%

So EXACTLY 3 pounds this week. Haha. I wish it were more but I had a cheating night (a few drinks and snacks) so I should just be glad I didn't seem to do any real damage.

Oooo I love this thread! Seeing how people's weight varies and how I react to their reactions has helped me see things in a larger, long-term perspective!

My progress so far (weights taken tuesdays at the gym):
week 1: 228
week 2: 225 (-3)
week 3: 224 (-1)
week 4: 225,5 (+1,5) *grrr*
week 5: 225 (-0,5)
week 6: 220 (-5) !!!!!!
week 7: 218 (-2) (weight on saturday on my scale, but I have done the test and it is the same as at the gym :)

average : 10 lbs / 6 weeks = 1,67 lbs per week.
Not quite 2, but I admit having a tough time around week 3/4. If I had stopped there, discouraged, I wouldn't be down 10 pounds in less than two months :D

moral: variation is normal; you shouldn't transform a few bad weeks into a few bad months/years. My goal is to be able to average 2 lbs a week, but as an average over a few months or even a year :D

well the month is almost over and i lost 6 out of 8lbs. so unless i lose 2lbs in 3 days i didn't hit my goal but im still happy because im on my way.

Only 1 pound lost this week. Slightly disappointed with myself because I know I slipped up a couple of times food-wise so I could've lost more if I'd avoided that. Going to really go for it this week.

I'm really disappointed. Yesterday I was feeling so good, like I must have lost a couple pounds. Of course we had to go out to eat for my boy's mom's birthday. I stayed reasonable, but obviously it wasn't enough. Ugh.
 
Well, I made a lot of bad choices this past week. It's been a busy week. Going to try harder this week, and try to make mostly good choices instead of bad.
