My oatmeal needed sugar this morning. You know in the past when I lost 80lbs I was using protein shakes as meals. I think my husband hid them from me and then put them back... I loved my muscle milks. I will look into getting some protein powder or shake mix. My doctor at the time agreed with my use of the shakes and did not object to it being a meal.I have been using protein supplements, mostly whey. You get about 25 grams of protein with 110 calories, a good way to get protein up. The powder mixes well into things and you can get flavored. I have mixed it with milk or kefir on my morning cereal, yogurt, even mustard being relatively tasteless it goes ok with lots of stuff. Not as good as real food, but not bad. Your oatmeal has to taste better...
Good for you!Calories today are 1247.
285.2 today...I was feeling fat as hell so I went on the scale. Down 2.2lbs.I lost weight since yesterday. Down to 287.4 so that is a 1.8lb loss.
Good for you!! Feels good doesn't it.Down 2.2lbs
If I eat one meal from them everyday I gain weight, maybe if I was eating salads I could have a big Mac meal everyday I was wanting a fish sandwich from there yesterday but I'm not eating any meat.Good for you!
You can lose or gain on McDonald's food, just depends on how much of it you eat. However I see little redeeming value in their food, and will be happy never to eat one, or one like it, again. I have not in over a year and don't miss it.
Good advice thank you!!1247 sounds a lot better than yesterday. I don't think there's anything wrong with having protein supplements as long as you still make sure to get your fruit and veg in. Making tbe healthy choice the easy one is the mantra and if the alternative is a McMeal I know which is the better choice
Yes it does I just have to stay consistent.Good for you!! Feels good doesn't it.
Yes--consistency really does seem to be key I find--long-term sustainable changes rather than a short-term sprint to the finish line.Just as I was consistent with eating McDonald's, I need to be consistent with eating healthy.
Sustainable is really a good word. Ty.Yes--consistency really does seem to be key I find--long-term sustainable changes rather than a short-term sprint to the finish line.
Ty!Congratulations on another loss!
