I gained this weight in but then I weighted myself this morning and I've lost what I gained plus some so I must have been retaining water so next week will be a good weight loss for me we can do it guys
Lets give it stick this week girls. I'm vowing to up my exercise levels and get walking! Let's surprise them next week! Also lets log our food everyday so we can get the points - that is free points girls!
Xenon - 1.4 pounds is actually quite a chunk of butter... go to the butchers and ask him to weigh out 1.4 pounds of animal fat and put it in a plastic bag for you... take it home and handle it every time you catch yourself thinking that you have achieved virtually nothing...
It is an achievement. Keep working hard and you will achieve more...
just so frusterated Before the challenge, I was a freaking machine! I had lost 6lbs my first week...and so i'm off the bandwagon..at least not doing nearly as well as I did....grrrr
Korrie - you are in a long term project... you have been coming to the forum since 2004... a long term project does have it's impact - I think because our bodies have got used to us cutting calories and the like... things dont have nearly the impact that they used to have for me either.
I suspect that you may have to do what I do and celebrate seeing any weight loss... In the tortoise and hare race for weight loss I am a tortoise but will get there in the end... you will too...
I got a better rate in the week or two after Christmas - but some of that was down to gains that I had over Christmas getting dropped and a fair bit of mine would be water... Maybe that explains about some of your enhanced initial loss too... I am sure that you have not stopped working just as hard...
