Weight-Loss Who would be interested in a WL competition??

Weight-Loss
I guess that is where the problem is. I did that Omega and I just attempted again. The problem is I don't have the option on the left side to select edit signature. It's not there. Mine is missing. I clicked on other edit buttons too and it isn't under any of them that I could find. Maybe I don't have that option because I am so new. Anyone else have any info? Thank you :)

Some forums have delays set into things so that you cannot do certain things until you have made a set number of postings... I am very active on another diet forum and that is the case there - and we use the same forum software. I cannot really remember the situation here.

I suggest that you make lots of postings...

Chat to me if you want - or other people that you have met for instance people in your team. If you check the diaries section it is the easiest way of seeing the diaries of people. Post elsewhere too... for instance I have restarted posting in the "weigh every day club" which I liked a lot the last time I was here. Also there is a January weightloss challenge and a Valentine challenge where you weigh every week.

LOL if you are a chatterbox like me you will easily get enough postings done.

There is a noob delay on here for sigs and avatars.

Still no word from San or Transparent.

Team platinum is a great idea group 1. They use that metal in catalytic converters and you guys will be sucking our exhaust!

Hey I reeeaaally wanna join! I'm new but I'm dedicated to losing weight and I've been looking for a unique way to do it for some time now. I won't like randomly dissapear if you let me join I promise haha. Is it too late?

OK, group 1 (Platinum) is the last one with 5 members. go ahead to that thread and copy and paste your scoresheet....welcome aboard!

Score sheet runs through march, but the contest is through May. Korrie are we going to have new score sheets in March or what?

I see what's going on, we haven't even started and team Pt is already messing with our minds. :icon_bs:

....or I'm just easily confused.:willy_nilly:

HEY!! Platinum is way stronger than gold! :p

LOL Didn't notice them dishing out any platinum medals in the Olympics...

Always looks just like silver to me...

It looks like we may have no-shows for some of the groups. Should we average the points by the number of members so a team of 3 can compete against a team of 6? It would mean that the team that lost the highest % per member wins.

Wouldn't rule them all out just yet, picking the few in your group that haven't replied yet, they've all been online in the last day at least

IJUSTWANNABEFIT Today 05:13 AM.
SAN Today 04:21 PM.
TRANSPARENT Yesterday 11:34 PM.

Guess some may have just not read it's postng today, and are waiting for tomorrow :)

Guessing it'd be fairest to average it out over members left at the end though, if some drop out maybe? (If it's done I mean)

Steve

I think averaging out sounds like a decent enough plan, but I think we should take that hurdle when we come to it. They may be back in time, you know.

I have been and will continue to trash talk, but I would also like to say on a very serious note that every one of us that sticks it out for the challenge and weighs less on good Friday than tomorrow is a winner. We are all winners if we are all losers. Good luck to everyone!

Now don't think this is meant as some concession as I and my group are still going to hand platinum and victory their butts on a platter.

I've been wondering that myself, what to do if by the end we have a few drop outs b/c at this point the teams are evenly matched with 6 players each. SOO, it wouldnt' be fair to count all the points from a 6 member team vs one with 4 or so. I think averaging the points might be the way to go....but like others have said, lets wait and figure that out at the end of the challenge.
