Weight-Loss What's for Breakfast???

Weight-Loss
I love cheerios with skim milk, or a whole wheat english muffin with sugar free jelly, or unsweetened applesauce for breakfast.
When I was little, all I'd eat was skinless grilled chicken breast for breakfast. An odd one, I was... ;-) Though Atkins woulda loved me. LOL

i cant do this!! sorry

:) i am 13, around 200, and 5'6..... i am on a diet for 3 months my goal is to reach 120 could i do that in 3 months (before i go back home) i could take 5 months too!! :)

yes you can!!! just don't eat any fat AT ALL and you will be fine also don't eat much calories and you could do it gurl go for it

I always like to start my day off with a nice BIG pickle shake. ITS SOOO GOOD!!!!!! Im an odd one 2!!! YAY!!! WE ARE ODD TOGETHER!!!!! :) :) :) Happyness is happy!! YAY!!! be happy!!! Jesus LOVES YOU!!!! EVERYONE!!!

I think Blue is making fun of us....anywho..I always have a bowl of "banana nut crunch" cerial and a glass of OJ

I love the idea of Cheerios with skim milk. I love cheerios and skim milk is all we keep in the house anyway. How much cheerios do you think is sufficient for breakfast?

Me personally, I like to have just about a cup and a half of cheerios and some milk, but i like to eat it nice and slow. They say it takes 20 min's for your stomache to tell your mind your full, so take your time and you'll eat less.

cmoothies

I hate eggs for breakfast and I usually crave something sweet, so I have a fruit smoothie with frozen strawberries, bananas,a little orange juice, Lite vanilla yogurt, and some kind of protien powder. I like herbalife vanilla soy protien. It tastes the best. Protein will help you not to get hungry as fast.

Wow I want stwarberries so bad right now. I can not wait to go on my first healty shopping trip this weekend.

I have the same thing for breakfast every weekday. A small bowl of oats with lowfat milk. At the beginning of my diet it wasn't enough to keep me going so I'd have a yoghurt or a peice of fruit as well, but now I've adjusted to not eating as much and its easier. During the weekends I sometimes have something different like scrambled eggs or as a treat a small portion of curried sausages that I make for Mr.Jennylee. A good healthy option that makes you feel like your having a big bad weekend breakfast is Grilled tomatoes, one grilled fish cake (100 calories each), slice of wholegrain toast with low fat butter or marge(90), and a poached egg (80). The whole thing is only about 300 calories, and much healthier than fried bacon, sausages and eggs.

Something i like is to have a yogurt with grape nuts mixed in... it's basically the same thing as adding granola, and you get a sweet and crunchy mix. perfect for on the go too!

I just heard a lady at the gym today talk about this...

Take one cup of vanilla yogurt and put fresh or frozen fruit in it with some granola on the top...it is kind of like the parfait at McDonalds...

I second that notion lol, probably a more reasonable goal would be 8-10 months or more depending how you diet and excercise.

1st, breakfast ideas for gizza:

I like Special K with Red Berries and fat free milk
Egg Beaters (1/2 cup) with Morningstar Farms Meatless Bacon (it's really good!)
Sim Fast Optima Chocolate Royale Shakes (you can also put them in the blender with fruit and some ice to make them thicker and get a fruit in there)
Whole Wheat English Muffin with All fruit spread
Flavored Oatmeal, no sugar added.

See there are lots of choices!

Now, for Moonset. No one wants to discourage you, but losing 80 pounds in 3 or even 5 months is unrealistic and incredibly dangerous. To lose the weight safely and to keep it off you want to shoot for 10 months to a year and you have to work really hard at it. There is no such thing as a quick fix. Please start a food and exercise diary and let us know how we can help you. We're all full of tips and suggestions!

I would have to say don't worry about your actual weight too much. Your so young an you should be more concerned on getting to an active and healthy lifestyle. Do I think it's possible probably, but not likely and probably not the healthiest. I do think that you can lose a lot of actual body fat though so you do slim. But remember a diet is not going to do everything. Get out and be active, do something and don't just sit around. Having a good diet is just part of the weight loss solution you need to get out and move around and then I don't think you'll have such a problem with taking off some of that weight. Just don't stop after the 3 or 5 months remember to keep going after that. Good luck to you though.

This is not a healthy plan. Your body needs fat so don't cut it out completely just cut out junk food and keep in the good fats and sugars such as with fruit.

Cheerios

Cheerios are great. Whole wheat too. I think they'll help to get your metabolism going but wouldn't it be a good idea to add some protein? Maybe in the form of a shake? If I am planning something strenuous first thing, my Cheerios just don't fuel me up.
