Weigh Yourself Everyday (or frequently) Club

Gotta do Tree Limbs this week so should sweat some off. It's so hot and humid, I'm drinking a lot of water. My heat rash is just about gone away though. I'm glad of that. Now, to trim this one tree today without getting into poison ivy. That'd be a plus.
Good luck with that, Tom! 🤞

Are you very sensitive to poison ivy? Ever gotten it? I don't think I am, we had lots of it in Florida and I never got it there. Not so much here in Utah, but some. Funny thing is the only time I have gotten it was in Utah, very painful experience... Beware!

I'm very allergic. Last time I cut this particular tree (has poison ivy growing all the way up to the top through the branches, I had on long pants, long shirt, mask, gloves, etc. Took a lot of precautions. I took a shower afterward with Dawn Dish Detergent and everything. I only spread it. I had it on my face, nostrils, arms, legs, and down below. It lasted about 3 weeks. Very miserable.

This time looks like a success so far. I pointed out the poison ivy to my sister to show her what it looks like and even used that phrase you did, "Leaves of Three, Leave Them Be". LOL. We washed out clothes last night and showered. I don't see any new rashes this morning. I'm still trying to get over my heat rash when I didn't have an AC. So so far, so good. This tree overhangs the sidewalk and we have to make sure there is a line of sight from the mailbox to the stop sign to be in compliance with the city. We got that done yesterday. It could use some more pruning, but we got the main part done. There is also some honey suckle there, which my sister is allergic too. We're going to see what we can do to kill it along with the poison ivy out without killing the tree. Ugh. Now, to other parts of the yard today. I have all week to get the limbs out and because of the excessive heat warnings, we limit ourselves to 10-15 minutes out at a time.
