Hey guys

Just wanted to add that it's great that you weight yourself everyday, but just don't forget that sometimes weight isn't a good indicator for how well you're doing.

For example, if you're exercising, you might be losing fat and gaining muscle mass which weighs more. Also, it depends on your fluids and the last time you've eaten etc..

So my advice would be to weigh yourself only in the morning, wearing the exact same amount of clothes, and even if you don't lose weight but doing everything you should do - don't get discouraged! It doesn't mean you're not getting thinner. Measurements are a more accurate indicator.

I know most of you know this, just for those who don't :)

damn.

I'm 130 lbs.

last week I was 125 for like a week.

but then I went on a field trip thing for like a week.
NOTHING but fastfood 3 times a day. everyday.
YUCK!!!!!!!!!! :'(

so i gained 5 pounds.

back to 130. I cant seem to budge from 130.

its making me depressed. everyday I have been 130, no difference.
and I have been working so hard!
 
05/09/08: 70.0kg/154.3lb - New low. :)
06/09/08: 69.9kg/154.1lb - First time in 60's. I don't even want to lose anymore weight and even if I eat not the healthiest shit I keep losing.
 
i Think ill post :) I started at 191ish and as of today 170, though i did pig out last night, so it would have been lower, but at least it is somewhere :D
 
Ignorance is bliss..... in most cases, but not this one :(

I have a tendency to not weigh myself. Denial is not helping me, so I am going to dust off my scale and start weighing myself every day. Maybe it will help me be more aware?
 
This sounds like it could help me. I need to start weighing myself everyday. I started my diet yesterday and according to the scale I lost 5 pounds, which I know those are early-diet pounds, but I am still happy about it.

what the heck? I am drinking tons of water, and eating 1500-1800 calories per day on the southbeach plan, working out...treadmill, swimming and doing yoga. I shouldnt be losing muscle, and that cant all be water,can it?

What am I losing... my soul?? I am confused
