Weekly Weigh In Club

So im going to start with my first weigh in
04/10/2008 - 200 lbs

My starting weight was 200lbs & i started my diet & exercise plan on 19th July 2008. Can't remeber my past weigh ins but i'll start from last week. I really find it hard not to be tempted to get on the scales each morning but i'm going to try not to.
27.9.08 - 183.6
4.10.08 - 178.4

Wow, Bavaro, some awesome losses there... have you just begun? What are you busy doing to lose the weight?

Hi, yes I just started 2 weeks ago, I am always very ambitious to start with and I get lazy later on. I found this forum recently and I hope you guys keep me in track. I just reduced my calori intake and don't do much of else. I know these are early pounds and they go fast and I will platue later on. I should start exercising but I am too busy and too lazy!

I'm going to weigh-in twice a week, just to make sure I'm on track. Maybe eventually I'll bring it down to only once a week.

Even though I'm 4 weeks pregnant, I plan on continuing to eat well and exercising. I will try my best to keep you on track but it looks like you are doing well on your own. Start slow with the exercise and once you start doing it you'll want to keep on. Good luck.

Thanks englangrover, I will need all the help I can get, 50 Kg weight gain in 5 years and now I want to lose it fast! I should be patient and persistent.

02 Oct - 175.5 (2.6 down, woohoo!!!!)
09 Oct - 175.9 (0.4 pounds up... take that as maintenance... but REALLY stepping it up and cleaning up my diet this week!!!)

Hoping to lose 3-4lbs this week (fingers crossed!) That means 2 more weeks and i'll be into the 160's! wooo!
 
I haven't posted in over a week. That is because there was not change on the scale. I was getting pretty discouraged. I joined another weight loss website today so I had to take my measurements. I was excited to realize that I have lost almost 2 inches in my waist.

Usually when the weight doesn't come off and you measure your inches that's ticket. That's happened to me a couple of times. Don't get discouraged. Obviously you are doing great....2 inches...great job :hurray:
 
Hello all, I'm going to join too!! I don't weigh daily.. I prefer just once a week like you guys.. Anyways, I'm not expecting a loss this week, just hoping for no gain!! I messed up this weekend and this whole week wasn't great bc I was looking at old pictures last Sunday and Monday I started a diet.. So I didn't have groceries or anything just made do.. but there is no time like the present.. But tomorrow is my first weigh-in so tonight I'll post start weight and my measurements too.. bc I like to see both. And I'll edit tomorrow Anyways, can't wait to get to know you guys!!

Start Weight: 240.8lbs

I take measurements all over.. So I can see inches come off everywhere
Measurements:

Neck: 14
Upper Arm: 15.5
Forearm: 10
Bust: 49.5
Waist: 38
Stomach (just below navel): 51
Hips: 50.5
Thighs: 52.5
Leg: 30.5
Calf: 16
 
I had my weigh in 2day and I'm down 5lbs and 6.5 inches... That puts me at 236!! I was happy I really wasn't expecting to lose anything!! How's everyone else doing?

Hey you are doing great. Welcome by the way. I'm not going to be doing well for awhile because after losing 20 pounds I got pregnant. It was a huge surprise but I really enjoy reading about everyone's progress. I'll jump back on after I have the baby.
 
thanks, and CONGRATS on the baby!! One of my best friends is pregnant right now.. She finds out what she's having tomorrow I can't wait!!
 
Well done to everyone who has been losing weight and congrats about the baby englangrover!

My eating has been all over the place recently so I've been too embarrassed to post weigh ins :blush5: and I've just been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and the main side effect of my medication is "significant weight gain"! :( But I will not let the pills win and undo my hard work! So this is me getting back on the wagon!

31/10/08 - 116 (up 1.5lb from last time I posted, am just glad it's not more really...)
 
I also just could not do daily weigh ins because of all the weight fluctuations
Mom of twins feb 07 and new son June 22 08 ..I have to begin now the weight loss regimen.Saw a recent pic of myself and went into tears!:nopity:
So here i am ready to battle the bulge

november 4th 221 :( only one pound
