Hi my name is Krista and I am wanting to join this forum for some help and support while on my weight loss journey. My goal is to lose 40 pounds by June (when I go on a trip to vegas). My plan is to eat healthy and work out 5-6 times a week. I have already started to work out and eat healthy however haven't weighed in. I had a baby boy 5 months ago and am ready to be back to my usual weight! I think I weigh around 185. I will post my progress weekly! Thanks.

I'm new this forum also. I have lost about 3/4 of my weight. I started at 182, got down to 147, have sense regained 4 of those pounds back. I have gotten off my diet for the last 6 weeks, but am ready to restart today. My goal is to lose 14 pounds and get down to 137 pounds. I'm 60 so the weight doesn't come off the way it used to.

I'll be doing weekly weigh-in as well. The plan is to do them on Friday mornings, right after I get up. I just started this week, so I don't have anything but my starting weight.

2/8/2010 - 219 lbs.
 
2/08/10 - 219.8 lbs
2/12/10 - 215.2 lbs

That's 4.6 lbs! *happy dance* Now, take that with a grain of salt because it was afternoon when I weighed myself the first time and morning when I did today. I do plan to weigh myself tonight to get a better idea of actual pounds lost. But I'm going to count it anyway. ;)

And before anyone gets too concerned that I've lost too fast, I'm definatly not starving myself or doing a fad diet. I'm averaging about 1600-1700 calories a day. I've just cut out soda, fatty and/or high calories snacks, eaten more fruit and veggies and gotten more exercise. Not to mention that I'm drink water. I'm sure most of that is from cutting the soda and actually drinking water. But I'll take it!

Yeah I know.. I am really happy with my weight loss but when I look in the mirror I can't see a difference. It's all happening so slow and I look at myself everyday.. I lost a lot of weight (fat?muscle?) on my arms and face but my thighs and torso are the same..
