Breakfast: Black bean veggie burger cooked in olive oil with one slice pepper jack cheese, avocado,spinach, green pepper, onion; decaf coffee with milk

Lunch: Greek yogurt with blueberries, walnuts, cinnamon; protein bar (Protein One brand); mint tea with lemon

Lunch: Tofu scramble (frozen dinner, Amy’s brand); mint tea with lemon

Snack: Two pieces shrimp; four crackers (Crunchmaster brand); two slices pepper jack cheese

Dinner: Lentil soup (Progresso brand); two eggs in olive oil with onion, green pepper, spinach, avocado; grapefruit; decaf with milk

Thanks aiminglow and alligatorob! I started having a big breakfast because I found it helped with alertness and productivity during the day -- that is why the salmon.

Breakfast: Salmon with onion, green pepper, spinach in olive oil with tamari, lemon, black pepper; grapefruit; decaf coffee with milk

Lunch: Greek yogurt with walnuts, blueberries, cinnamon; egg; two pieces string cheese; mint tea with lemon

Dinner: Tortilla casserole (frozen dinner); brussels sprouts roasted in olive oil with lemon

Snack: Greek yogurt with raspberries, walnuts, cinnamon

I started having a big breakfast because I found it helped with alertness and productivity during the day
Good for you! I know that is supposed to be best, but in my case I have found that eating a big breakfast makes me want to eat even more for lunch and dinner. Do you have that problem?

Your meals sound really good, keep it up.
 
Hi, alligatorob, a big breakfast does not seem to affect my appetite for the rest of the day. I am usually hungry no matter what.

Breakfast: Three cheese cracker sandwiches; four saltines; protein drink; clementine

Lunch: Crackers (about 8) with three slices pepper jack cheese

Dinner: Tofu scramble; grapefruit; six peanut butter cracker sandwiches

Snack: Greek yogurt with walnuts, raspberries, cinnamon; decaf coffee with milk

Walked 200 steps

Had minor surgery today. That is why all the crackers and no walking. Hope to be back on plan tomorrow or day after.
 
I find if I don't have much breakfast I just want to eat & eat all day. I hope you heal quickly too. Take care :)

I am usually hungry no matter what.
I know that feeling. Have you been able to figure out the difference between being hungry and cravings? I have been working on that for a while, making progress, but its not easy. I suspect at least some of your feelings of hunger are really just cravings that you feel no matter how full.

Hi. Sorry if I don't respond individually for a while. The healing is taking more time than I thought. thank you for all your well wishes.

Yesterday was a lost day. I think the pain medication made me less mindful about my eating. Walked about 200 steps. To my best recollection I ate: string cheese, peanut butter, crackers, clementine, margharita pizza, cheese sandwich ( one slice whole what bread), mini Snickers ice cream bar, broccoli, spinach, smoked oysters, protein drink, tortilla casserole

Today:
Breakfast: Two pieces string cheese, six crackers, protein drink

Lunch: Tortilla casserole

Snack: Two pieces string cheese; clementine; decaf coffee with milk

Dinner: Salmon; brussels sprouts; spinach; greek yogurt with walnuts, raspberries

Walked 5,000 steps
