Weight-Loss Walkin' To A Winter Onederland--team Thread

Weight-Loss
So - our team is in the lead!!!

We are still the best team :grouphug: and we still have the most fun.

The protein thing is not causing me any problems at all.

I was initially concerned because I hate messing about with my food.

I prefer a very repetitive diet, and do not like to analyse it using traditional calorie counting etc methods. All I care about is that I consider it to be healthy and balanced and that it allows me to lose weight.

It transpires that it is fairly high-protein and I have been well in excess of my requirement on the days so far. I anticipate full points for this aspect.

My exercise was completed on Saturday and my weight is currently at a loss. I just hope that I can keep my weight down at it's current level.

This is awesome!!! :coolgleamA:
I love being on the winning team. It's so motivating to "GIT-R-DONE"! LOL
I think that is one reason why I did so well with the last challenge I participated in. :smash:
Keep it up ONDERLANDERS!!!!
Woot! Woot!
:party::party::party::party::party::party::party:

Sorry Onderlanders, I have done 0 exercise for two days. (I have done 2.5 hrs this week, though and will have my three hours in before the week ends for sure.) It may however affect my weight loss points this week. I apologize if this is the case...but I just have not been able to, as explained in my diary.

Heck, I don't blame you a bit for not wanting to exercise. The weight loss points are pretty minimal compared to the rest of the weekly points, and hormones will do wacky things to your weight regardless of whether you work out. No accounting for the scale.

Hi Amber

I can assure you that if I were coping with what you are dealing with - I would be doing no exercise whatsoever. After dealing with my body for all these years I can be pretty certain that my weight would be going up too.

Naturally - if you can remain focused enough to get some protein points that would be wonderful - but if you have gone into "comfort food mode" that would be fully understandable too.

~*Happy Friday Everyone!*~ :waving:

~Best Wishes~ with Weigh-In tomorrow!

:grouphug:

I've already completed 3 hrs. exercise and I've done good with the Protein bonus!

I hope to see a loss as well! (I hope!) lol

*Have A Great Weekend!*

I hope that everyone is having a great weekend.

I held my loss ok - so I get full points for this week.

Good luck at the scales everyone.

Take care:grouphug:

I'd like to apologize to my teammates in advance for next week's weigh-in. I was saying to Margaret on Thursday that I'd gotten a 148.0 on the scale, but I hadn't earned it yet and didn't expect to maintain it. Well, this morning the scale said 146.0! And if I hadn't earned a 148 on Thursday, I sure as heck haven't earned a 146 by today.

Going on vacation, leaving tomorrow at 5am (or possibly earlier). I'll have access to a weight room, so I ought to be able to get the bonus points for the coming week, and we'll be walking all the time, so I'll get exercise points for both weeks. Odds are I'll maintain at least the 148 for goal points. But everything else is in the hands of fate!

Good luck, everyone! :)

Hi Phoebe

You certainly have no grounds for an apology being relevant. The weight aspect is always to some extent in the lap of the gods.

We can be saintly with our food and relentless with our exercise - but sometimes the scales go against us.

I believe that your current score in this contest is 100% of possible marks - something that very few people have attained (if indeed anyone else by the time this weeks events are taken into consideration). I have certainly not attained that score.

If I were you I would be delighted at today's weight - fully earned or not. Enjoy it!

I hope that you enjoy your holiday too. And keep an eye on your pedometer - if you are walking all the time you could get some great readings which may ease any feelings of guilt if you indulge in the odd holiday treat.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Hi y'all.

:waving:

Have a nice time Phoebe!

Great job Margaret!

My stats are updated and I hit another new low!

I'm now 172.0

I racked up some good pts. as well.

I am particularly impressed at the way you got full points last week Amber - despite health issues.

And so we are in the lead again.

No wonder I keep saying that we are the best team :grouphug: and we have the most fun.

Well done ONEderlanders!

My normal exercise is done for this week and I have done one bonus exercise session. My only points currently subject to question are the weight ones and I am currently sitting on a loss. There is always the question of whether I can hold it down.

Hey there! I just wanted to check in with you all. I am sorry for my absence but i ended a relationship this past week and have been really upset. i just haven't really had a lot to say i guess, but i have been stopping by and everyone has been doing wonderfully!

Hi Jaxxy

I am sorry that you are going through an upsetting time. You did astoundingly well to lose weight last week under those circumstances. Many of us turn to food for comfort in times of stress. Congratulate yourself for your strength under very difficult circumstances.

Take care:hug2:

It appears that I may be back on track!
Weighed in this morning at my lowest weight yet!
196.4
Even though my mini-goal for this challenge is 185 by Christmas I am hoping to be 190 by the time we go to NYC to visit family. That would put me at a loss of 40#'s.
I don't know if I can do it, that would be a 6 1/2 # loss in a little less than 2 weeks. But I am sure going to try.
Have a great day everyone!

Hi Bellaryna

Great news about the weight. I love new lows.
It is always such a joy to get on the scales and see it come up with a brand new low number.

Good luck with your attempt to hit your new personal target weight. That will be particularly hard at this time of year - but I am sure that it is possible if you are very strong.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Holiday goals for the last bonus

I'm planning to continue to lose - I'll have a scale gain for the challenge tomorrow, due to a freak low last week, but I'm losing right on track according to my little spreadsheet. I'm not a drinker, and we don't do a big thing for the holidays, so that doesn't affect my weight normally. Tax season is my big challenge - it would be nice to continue to lose, but I'd be happy maintaining. I've got about 20 more pounds to go at this point, which will take me at least until mid-March.
