You should try to get 1g per lean pound of bodyweight as a guide. Whoever that speaker was, should not be speaking to anyone again. Get your calories up, your body is probably wondering where they are. Good Luck.
Are the carbs in yogurt necessarily bad since I do a lot of endurance running? And I have no idea what my bf% is, and probably won't till late Aug when the exercise phys lab is running (I don't have the $$ to get it done at a local gym). So, what's a general guideline protein-wise? And yeah, that speaker was a dud--I think he has books and certifies doctors to say that they know the basics on vegetarian dieting, which is disappointing after his seminars .
Today I did eat a little more (b/c I went out for dinner, and though I ate 1/2 my entree b/c of giant portion sizes, it was still more cals than my regular dinner), getting roughly 30g of protein +an undisclosed amount from dinner. The protein portion (not the whole thing)of dinner consisted of maybe .3oz chicken breast and 1oz ground mix of beef/veal/pork.
I finally had an afternoon off that was sunny (well, half the time), and got to see my boyfriend (whose summer work keeps him out of town a lot of the time). So, I got to do some outdoor activity ! I rollerbladed around campus, played a little tennis, and shot (? correct past tense? I don't think so!) some hoops on rollerblades. And you know what? I discovered that I'm an extremely slow rollerblader...though not due to my legs being tired or something like that. Note to Self: work on rollerblading skills in private!! Also, I ran for 50 minutes on the treadmill...but I couldn't be as aggressive with the speed because of my allergies .
