To be a BIG F**ker!

I'm not so worried about strenght.. atleast not in the big lifts (the ones that matter) I usually gain strenght even while at a deflict.. more worried about the muscle thing.
 
Well it will be my first ever cut, iv only been properly bulking for the last 3-4 months.

So ill see how it goes :)
 
Just a little question i want to ask, iv been confused...

What is it when:

Using a BB, you clean the weight off the floor then press OH. What is that lift called.


Iv been wondering whether its a type of military press, push press...I want to know, so i can also add it in my journal and be specific. :) Cheers
 
well it depends how you do the overhead press..
if you do it in a jerk fashion, the way they do it in competition it would be called a "clean and jerk".
There is a thing called "clean and press" however, what the "press" actually means can be different.. it can be a strick military press or a push press.. a lot of people specify and say either "clean and strict press" or "clean and push press". however I believe it's most common to either jerk or push press it, as a military press would seriously limit the weight you can use to the point where the clean would be so easy you wouldn't see much benifit from that part of the movement.

Tonights workout....Well first of all i havnt been to the gym since friday! A little rest doesnt hurt. I havnt had the best rest tho because out of the last 6 days iv been drunk 4 of them! And eating has been poor, and not taking my supplements!

Iv bought some glutamine also, been taking that since yesterday :)

^^ Yea nosweat i understand what your saying. Its harder than you think tho to just f*ck your mates off, you know what i mean?

There's one of my mates, who is all up for training my way as he's done his research and understands.

But on the other hand, my longest training partner, he just isnt up for doing what i want. Already we do like 8-10 reps on most things and the other day he said to me 'when we cut well do more reps'

I was just thinking, nah thats not happening. I want to be varying from 1-10 reps not 8-10 or more!
He wont even do DL's anymore (he thinks theyre bad for your back) F*ck that tho, ill never stop DL's now!
