Sport The Deadlift Challenge!!

Sport Fitness
sw - 135
gw - 160

Unfortunately I haven't been working out rigorously like I used to (3-5 days a week), so I've been going on-and-off this past month; but haven't gone these past two weeks.

Time to catch up and step it up.

here it is... in the lounge!!! of all places... guess that's where it shoudl be acutlaly.

ok, so- today i figured out that i was actually lifitng 255. and i also learned about those lil hooks on th end of the squat racks.

I did the 255 several times, so it is really not my max,,, but--- i am having grip issues.

Are you guys and gals using any grip aparatus for this challenge? you know like those gloves with hooks in them, or those wrist straps?

Start: 286
Goal: 336

Btw. Just a side note. Doing same for my bench, if I can ever find a spotter.

Start: 170
Goal: 220

George......Smokes US ALL......LOL......he is flat cooken it......:)
(see first post)

I meant progression though. Its easier to progress from 200etc to 300etc but its gonna be harder for george to get from the 500's into the 600's compared to mine.

He still lifts like a beast though.

I tihnk I have good form on deadlift only sometimes when it's a heavy weight I noticed the bar hits (and by hits i don't mean smashes into) my right knee on the way down, or rubs against my shin at the top, what am I doing wrong?

The challenge has started. I expect that everyone will reach their goal with ease and many will surpass it.

There will be a thread created soon for challenge members (only) to talk and discuss progress, technique, or whatever.

So challenge ended yesterday. Please get those max pulls in by March 9th. Even if you didnt make 50lbs, you should post your numbers to see. Many of you were probably dieting down so any increase is good.
