Flying Free

There is a place I call my own
Where I can stand by the sea,
And look beyond the things I've known ,
And dream that I might be free.
Like the bird above the trees
Gliding gently on the breeze,
I wish that all my life I'd be
Without a care and flying free!

But life is not a distant sky
Without a cloud, without rain.
And I can never hope that I
Can travel on without pain

Time goes swiftly on its way,
All too soon we've lost today.
I cannot wait for skies of blue
Or dream so long that life is through.

So life's a song that I must sing,
A gift of love I must share .
And when I see the joy it brings,
My spirits soar through the air.
Like that bird up in the sky ,
Life has taught me how to fly.
For now I know what I can be
And now my heart is flying free!

You are an inspiration to us ALL!

ROCK ON!

Best wishes,

hey chilllen. thanks for the dedications...i really appreciate it.
really.
i havent been training; still not strong enough to lift heavy stuff :/
it was rediculous...like 2 weeks ago i asked my parents for physical therapy and they said yes.
then, it took up until now to actually get an appointment with my therapist because i had to see my back doctor first for a prescription.
then i had to wait for my phys therapist to have any openings for appointments.
first session is teusday.

im just learning how to put faith in God...and trust in the creator for comfort instead of looking for things he created for comfort.

on the bright side, i havent been getting depressed about it any more...im a lot calmer/stable about it now....i just accept it as a long lesson.

iv been focusing a bit more in school; have to get grades up more..but iv been doing better.

i already read one of those articles; i liked it, im going to read them all. thankyou so much for lookin those up for me.

i just really miss being athletic and doing stuff....
really

For BETH (2)

Self-Esteem by (MyOwnDarkDisaster-a friend of mine)

I try and I try and I try
To see the reason why
Everyday people change
Their hair, attitude, their being
Underneath is not what other's are seeing
To be honest I find it all quite strange

People mock me, the way I act
My clothes, hair, and all the things I lacked
I don't mind, It's how I feel
To be viewed as whatever they want is their choice
But to be perfectly honest there is more than one voice
Salted wounds will eventually heal

But I can't take the fact
That people are afraid of what THEY lacked
All that matters is who they see
I can't hate them for betraying themself
For using me and putting me on a shelf
When they realize how at peace we can truly be

=========================================================

Be at PEACE BETH

Best wishes my friend,

Chillen

Thanks Hon! :hug2:

I do have one thing to share:

All during my training, I can never get the chest to pump (it does a little) but nothing compared to my arms, upper body (lats, shoulders, traps, etc).

It doesnt matter the rest given, it seems it doesnt matter the rep ranges or messing with the sets.

Any suggestions on why this may be occurring? Just a little weird.

Even when I do pushups (high reps) they pump (a small amount) compared to as if I bench pressed 3 sets.

bench and pushups work the chest, but they dont put the body in the in the correct position to effectively keep the tension on the chest throughout the entire lift.
have you ever tried a different excercise like chest dips?
also...the article i read recommended 2 wierd exercises to keep the tension on the pecs...i cant explain them though.

its kind of strange that your chest wont pump up though lol...i dont know why it wont...maybe it does and you just dont realize b/c its always big :p

No out of context---:)----->Everything in the upper and lower body seems to pump just fine (or get adequate blood gorge), with the exception of my pecs. Its just a bit strange.

Yes, I do dips in-between sets of bench press (currently), and they progress in strength fine, so maybe its just the way it is, because they adapt just fine to stress applied and are growing......but I like that pump dang it. I feel so damn huge after deads......LOL......I like the deadly deads. I bitch and moan....LOL......but their my friend.........HE He.... :)

Hey, I was just about to do an "out of context" on part of this post. Darn it.

For Jon:

FEEL

What a heart does feel
Is so intense vivid and real

It beats with soaring delight in the sweetest rites
That it returns the soul to celestial heights

However, its clenches of waving pain
Will stop breath in the depths of bitter sorrow
Until ones, soul is empty and hollow

To live is to love but not without pain
For opposition is our teacher and hope for gain
In this mortal game called pleasure and pain
To hate is to die and live in vain

So live with love intense and real
Make the heart reach and want to feel.

The creator of all and author of this plan
Wants us to become so much better then man

So fight and hold stead fast to His Word
And know that your prayers are always heard
However, pain and sorrow may be your lot
Trust in God and soon it will be not
Life is intense, vivid and real
All the things the heart does feel.

Best wishes to you, Jon

233 lbs!!! holy crap! you have to bulk more after all chillen! lol

by the way, how is bulking going?

Hey Chillen,

Sounds like a very fun outing! Yeah, 233 lbs is huge! How tall is he? That's so cool that your sons are following your example when it comes to fitness.

I agree, I think it's great that you have set that example and that they actually join in! LOL I can't wait until my little one gets a little older so we can do things as a family, like hiking and biking and such.

We had a great time. We have doing the flag football thing for many years with friends of mine and friends of my son's------though the old guys lost this time (by one touch down), this isnt the case all the time......they just got lucky..........HEHE

Got home rather late last night. After the playing flag football, my oldest son got me playing this guitar game on the XBox 360, lol. That was funny, lol

We had a good time.

Hope every one's day goes extremely well today!

ROCK IT!

Best wishes
